The Persatuan Pencinta Muzik Ukulele Malaysia (PPMUM) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2013 by Kelly Teh. Its primary aim is to promote the love and appreciation for ukulele music in Malaysia. Throughout the years, PPMUM has organized numerous cultural exchange programs, concerts, festivals, and competitions, both locally and internationally, including countries like Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and Korea. In 2018, PPMUM had successfully organized the 1st Malaysia Ukulele Festival, which has now become an annual event eagerly anticipated by ukulele enthusiasts.
PPMUM's ultimate objective is to spread the joy of playing the ukulele, a petite instrument, to everyone, fostering love and peace through music.
