Thank you for your service! Thank you for this video.
Great video! Nice concise instructions. Thank you for your service!
Thank you! Very inspiring! I know what I want for Christmas now!
This was an amazing tutorial video!!! I learned so much. Thank you 😊 I just got my machine and I’m so excited to try this!
Im a total noob at this and your vid just saved me a ton of time. Thanks for sharing!
This is a really good video. I just got a SE1900 and I’m leaning to use it and you video is extremely helpful. I think I was making a lot more out of it than I needed to. I love my machine…and I love my Ginger scissors…..and I too almost always have a bandaid on at least one finger. Thanks very much for sharing this!
Thank you for your service too! God bless
Love your video, have as well a regular embroidery machine & this hopefully will help me to send my granddaughters patches. They live in Norway
♥️
Thank you for your service! Also thank you for this very easy to follow tutorial.
From one Vet to another, Thank you for your service. I really appreciate this video and your instruction. Keep the videos coming PLEASE.
Thank you for your service first off &second for this amazing video. I really appreciate the work smarter method you showed. This video has taken away my fear of unboxing my SE 630. I’m definitely a subscriber now !!!
Thank you!! Yes, take that thing out of the box. It is such fun to play around with
best video ... ive been watching different videos for a week.. it finally clicked with you. #appreciateyou #thankful
very informative, thanks,I have this same machine I wish my threader would surprise me and start working again :)
I just purchased the PE800. I am just researching on how to embroider. Your video was very detailed. And you explained each step nicely. Please keep your videos coming.
Thank you for your service and your videos.
1st off thank you for your service....with that said thank you for detailed directions on how to make patches.
New to embroidery ! Thank you for this great tutorial! New subscriber too! :-)
Thank you for your service!!! All I’ve ever had is a single needle, so I loved this video!
This is so great. You just answered the main question I had about embroidering on a single needle machine. This is a true new years gift. Thank you so much!
thanks so much for this video!
Hey im getting ready to buy a machine I have to say your videos are so intuitive I just had to subscribe thanks keep it up
Yes you need to adjust your tension for sure. I’m new to it too. But the back should be color as well. Not a lot but more.
Thank you for your service,
New to Embroidery myself i really appreciate this video
Keep posting i am here for it 💯
You are amazing, I love smart shortcuts too! Work smart, not hard haha!
Great video, thank you for putting this out. Also, thank you ever so much for your service to our country. My grandson returned from active duty this summer. Best to you and yours - live your best life! Hugs from a Minnesota great-grandma ♥
Thank you so much for watching! Is your grandson taking a breaK from active duty or is he done completely?
you're an angel ❤❤ I've been excited to use the machine I got for my birthday but looking at the instructions was making my head spin. thank you!!
I was definitely like that in the beginning but once I started playing around with it, it became so much easier
My Daughter just got me a Brother PE800. I’m so excited to try patches!!! Thank you!
Thank you!
OMG, I just found you and I've been trying to find how to videos for my Baby Lock Verve, it is exactly like your Brother. Same screen and setup. My auto threader isn't working either! I've only had it a few months and only did less that 6 small projects. I am new to embroidery and a novice sewist. So glad I found your channel!
Adjust the wheel or handle of your machine, make sure the line on it is centered and directly across the middle up of your machine. Rethread your machine and your threader will work like a charm. Don't forget to turn the wheel towards you while adjusting it and not away from you. Thank me later. Cheers.
Wow, what a great tutorial!!! You explained everything perfectly 👌🏾. Simple and to the point, which how I like it. Nothing over the top or overexplained. I've seen several tutorials on how to embroidery abd this is definitely one of the best thus far 😊.
nice machinee.. i appreciate this vidio. clear.
First, thank you for your service. I nearly fell out of bed (dealing with COVID right now) when you mentioned something about your granddaughter! You sound so young and your hands don't give you away either!
Now - I recently bought a Baby Lock Verve and wish I had seen your video two weeks ago. The LCD screen and the functions are identical to yours and your smart way of avoiding multiple color changes would have been a game changer! You made a great video with just enough chit chat to keep things friendly without omitting content. Good job! I subscribed to your channel and will be watching more of your videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching!! I am so glad you didn't fall out of bed. These kids are definitely making me feel old with all these grandkids 🤣 but I wouldn't have it any other way. Since I can't afford a multi needle machine right now, I had to find a way to work smarter. Those multiple color changes can be tedious.
I hope you get to feeling better soon!!
You are a gem. How the heck did you know I bought extra 4*4 hoops for my SE600 just for this kinda short cut. It sure makes the work faster. Thank you for this awesome tip. I will use it to the fullest.
Today I learned, never enough hoops, and it's all about prep work. Thanks for the video. 😁
Thank you so much for watching! Those of us with small machines gotta get by the best way we know how 😂
@@tinyscreations I've just been sitting here dreaming of losing my house for a 1501c because I don't wanna thread a single machine 15 times for 5 patches, so this video gave me loads of hope. 🤣
I have that machine too and the pressure foot has to be down in order for the auto threader to work properly… at least mine does ☺️
Thank you for sharing and for your service!
Thank you for this video! Its helped so much.
Can you tell me what the product is that you put around edges before cutting please?
Loved this. Colors on the back are due to changing the tension after the first color. Just got my se600. Thanks for teaching.
Great tutorial Thank You
If you decide to upgrade go for Luminaire 3 it is a dream. The Dream Machine 2 is also an great machine. Brother Machines
Great video I asl have single needle pe800 machine thank you 😊 🙏
I had an issue with my auto needle threader in my embroidery machine and after much frustration I thought perhaps my needle was not sitting where it should be so I removed the needle and reset it and the auto needle threader worked perfectly, this might be helpful fir you, great video by the way😃
Good Morning from Colorado
I got the same machine in September and my needle threader has never worked! lol I still push down on the lever, and then I just push it lightly and it’ll thread the needle like that…but it’s never ever worked. Wild! Thanks for the video!!
Mine works whenever it feels like it. I keep one of those needle threader thingys near by at all times. Thank you so much for watching!
Ty
Sweet
To make the auto threaded to work 100% of the time, you have to drop the foot before using the auto threader. If you can get the auto to work without dropping the foot, you may have slightly damaged the auto threader.
New sub 🥰
Very new to patch making…like say 3. Cutting it out is my hard part. I feel like I’m going to cut the stitches. I’ll try out this fray spray
Really Nice🥰 You make it look easy.
Do you make your own designs? Do it come with it's own set of designs? Can you do a video on how you thread your machine & how you make your designs if you do?
Thank You💚
In my opinion the hardest thing about embroidery is choosing the right needle. I use the 75/11 for patches. I do not create my own designs. I do not have the software. I'm thinking of purchasing Stitch Artist from Embrilliance which is. Digitizing software
You can always use a soldering iron instead of a lighter and much safer, then put the fray check on after you use the soldering iron.
Love this video! You gave me the confidence I need to try and make a patch. What type of fabric are you using to make your patch?
Love, LOVE your videos! Quick question (request?) You mentioned burning the frayed stitches. Do you do just the edges or other loose ends too? It sounds like a great idea that I hadn't heard of before. Care to demo it? Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for watching! You can burn any loose ends. I suggest applying the fray check, let it dry, then burn it. It
I have all brother machines and a multi needles machines too I have the PE-800 and HE-240
Hi I just found your channel today I’ve had my machine for over a year and I have never used it because I’m not sure what is the best software to digitize my images. Do the software you use have a option to digitize your image
You can fit the hand to get a left and right
For the automatic threader make sure the lines are lined up on the hand spinner thing
Just seeing the hands you should sell Black Mama Bear tees or sweatshirts with this patch and possibly add "don't mess with my kids!" Just an idea. Good luck❣
I hope that could work out for you. I'm sure there's alot of people who feel that way about their little ones. Good luck❣
Hallejuah! Vet to Vet! Thank God for you. I never thought of making patches but please tell me where you get that design
Thank so much for the video..What spray adhesive did you use?
It was some spray adhesive from Walmart. I can't remember the name of it but I now use 505 adhesive spray. I purchased it from Joanns
I’m wondering if you could fit two patch designs in your repositional hoop?!
Once again, great video!
You can. However, if the patches are multiple colors it would definitely be too much of a hassle
Nice workaround, however this sort of hooping gymnastics would have given me fits which is why I quickly pivoted from a Brother PE800 to a 10 needle machine.
I definitely need to upgrade but I don't embroider enough to justify it. Maybe getting. 6 or 10 needle would be my motivation
Do you purchase your design files or do you digitize yourself? If you purchase, do you mind sharing where you get your files? Thanks!
Do you have a list of all the things I would need and how I make a simple one color name ID patch? Which app should I use?
Very nice video, I learned alot especially about saving time. However, where did you get the patch from that is really nice, if its a secret that is fine to. Well enjoy your day.
What is the spray that you’re using?
What spray is that
Enjoyed your video. I wonder how you can do this part-time with your military career. Do you sell your patches, or t-shirts. Nice to hear you have sewing interests as a hobby. Where are you stationed. Thanks for showing us so much in laymen terms. Hard to believe your a grandmother - your so young looking.
Thank you so much for watching!! It's a little easier for me now since my kids are all of age. I normally go straight to my craft room every day after work. I'm currently stationed in NC. I have 3 grandkids with another one on the way. These kids are making me old before my time🤣
@@tinyscreations Sounds great! Have you heard about Dime and their patch making kits? Well, have a great day! The best to you - Joyce
May I ask where did you purchase the embroidery design? Thank you in advance.
Wow I didn’t know about skipping colors ….never used that
Hey tiny Thanks for the video...it was very informative. Can you tell me where do you get your designs from? Do you create your own digitizing?
Hello. I purchase most of my designs from Etsy. I do not digitize but if I need something digitized I will look for a digitized on Fiver
Hello, First of all, I would like to Thank You for your service, and May God Bless You and Protect You.
I am a nail Technician. Where did you get that hand design? Your lesson was great, thank you for sharing it with us.
Hello and thanks for watching. I'm pretty sure I purchased the design from Etsy. I buy so many (and never use them) but 95% of them are from Etsy.
My daughter is currently in school to become a nail tech
@@tinyscreations Thanks for your reply. Your daughter will love being a nail Technician. She will love seeing the before and after, when she sees her great work. Congratulations to her.👍
So you have to find embroidery patch designs only, or you can use any small design. First timer.
What you call that duck what and where you get from
Hello may I ask what tension you have you machine on?
Hello. I keep my tension set at 3. Sometimes I have to adjust a little bit
I've been searching for an embroidery machine like this. I found these videos interesting for awhile and I would love to try it out. Are you from NC?
Auto thread only works when the pressure foot is down and the light green if the pressure foot is up and fhe light red its wont auto thread💯💯
Hello, I had the same problem. I am new to this also. But, I found out you have to adjust the needle in the upright position by turning your wheel. And it latches everytime
Exactly. Worked for my brother FS155 when I bought it and tried to thread my machine in vain. It works like magic.
Thanks for the video. What's the name of the fabric you used for the base
Hi this was a great tutorial 😊, where do you get your files for the patches? Thank you
I'm new to embroidery too. Where did you purchase your file? thanks
www.etsy.com/shop/TSPofSugarEmbroidery?campaign_label=proteus_transaction_buyer_notification_q4_treatment_v2&email_sent=1613850245&euid=FkPKD_OPFIQKiqWxadKRVGpZLW2a&eaid=36679564377&x_eaid=9be2da46c4
Auto thread only works if the pressure foot is down and light is green if its red it wont💯💯💯
Thank you! I struggle with that so much. Most of the time I just thread it manually 🤣
Hi, I just started making patches and came across your vid. For the fray check, you have to wait 15-30 mins for it to dry depending on how much you put, 30 just to be sure. If you cut it before it’s fully dry, then you’ll have some fraying still. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for that tip!!
