My favorite pen is the Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black ⚫️
Wow, didn't exactly see this coming, Dylan!! Thanks for sharing. I started out on Parkers and Pelikans, back in the day as I went to a religious school. They were strict like that. All that planet hugging stuff got me back into fountain pens. My all time favourites are the Lamy Safari, and the Al-Star Safari with a extra fine or fine tip. I use a fluorescent pink one at work, it's not been stolen yet!
Vintage Pelikans are wonderful.
DYLAN!!
I didn't know you were into pens too!
Nice collection!
I have 30 years in the rabbit hole.
I really agree with you on the Diplomat Aero- it checks so many boxes- it’s a delightful experience. And having a fountain pen that you don’t have to unscrew is a huge plus- as you age, in the time it takes to expose the nib and begin to write with some pens you can forget what you wanted to write.
Been a long time follower of your other channel and just discovered this channel two weeks ago. I already have 6 fountain pens and just ordered a Franklin Christoph. Really looking forward to getting it this next week and seeing what they are all about. Thanks for all the great videos!
You will love it
The Lamy charcoal is beautiful!! I don't think is boring!!
I love it!!
As a lefty, you may enjoy the oblique nibs from Pelikan and Montblanc.
The Sailor effect is called "feedback", to let you know how much contact you are making with the paper. It compares to the feeling of writing with a brush.
The sailor nibs are optimized for writing Japanese, the way stubs and obliques are optimized for Roman letters.
I want to try one
beautiful collection
Thanks a lot
I got the same Carolina Pen Co pen. Same resin. Got it the same place. Atlanta Pen Show. It is possible to switch nibs in a Lamy 2000. (But don't lose parts!)
Franklin Christoph, did not know they were so good. Thanks.
That Montblanc was also the competition to the Pelikan Silvexa.
Excellent value.
Great collection of beauties. I’m on the fence between picking up the LAMY 2000 and the Raven Piston. Both seem like excellent choices
These are always good. Hope you are doing well today
I love that orange pen.
Your pen collection is way too amazing!!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you
Little QnA with J . Brooks would be an amazing video.
Great idea!!
I'm not a poster, but my new Kaweco begs to be posted as it's so short,
Lamy M2000 limited edition brown?
I wish
Nice video. If you don’t like the Lamy medium nib, just get it ground down by Kirk Speer or one of the other nib meisters around. Kirk does great work and has so many offerings, including the imperial grind which is a kind of stub/round hybrid.
That’s a good idea
Or just buy fine nib and replace it.
@@MarcinZaleski21pretty sure you can’t swap out the nibs on the 2000 - unlike the Lamy steel nib pens.
you can, but they are not inexpensive. It is a better value to just get a second pen. Unless a person is just cheap...
@@DylanAndLeslieIt's not about being cheap person, but if You're not quite happy with how M nib in that pen writes and because of that such nice pen would just sit unused than it would be sad. But looking at it from different perspective, it could be a reason to get second one in different colour :) .
There is no difference between a M, F and EF for lamy 2000. Don’t waste money on another one.
hmm that wasn't my experience testing them in the store.
I fully disagree, I have ef and medium. M is stubbish and ef is more like architect
@@nccastro653 geez... strong feelings about a pen
That Montblanc was also the competition to the Pelikan Silvexa.
Excellent value.
