Which sandwich chain's bread do you like the most?
RIP Quiznos. My favorite sandwich shop but I haven't found one in years.
That's because the corporate world screwed it up
The Denver airport has one
Yeah. I liked Quiznos!
Thankfully I live in South Jersey, Metro Phia area. We have the absolute best sandwiches and don't patronize sub-par chains
Im a long islander, now living in the south. I would sell my husband for good italian bread, bc it doesnt exist out of the tri-state area...
I thought Blimpie went out of business at least a decade ago. Jersey Mike's sandwiches are the best, IMO. I also get a craving for Potbelly's from time to time.
Jersey Mike's Subs rules. 👌
VERY surprised Subway is #2... Locally, their bread is about the worst in my area; could be because Subway probably develops their recipes at & for sea level, and I'm at 5000 feet above sea level. Jersey Mike's & Firehouse have much better bread than Subway. Jimmy John's and Snarf's bread are also good. (Snarf's may have an unfair advantage here, since their first location was at 5000 feet...)
I can attest to the cult like love for Quiznos... I had it back in 2005 and I was converted ever since, even though I've had more meh experiences than great ones... that first experience that sold me is forever in my mind that I yearn to have it back because now they are not around anymore
Jersey Mike's is my favorite as far as chains go. Love their Italian sub. But my real favorite is a mom and pop in my town. They load it on, the bread is fantastic and they don't break your wallet. It's been my experience that if you want a real sub, hit a local mom and pop.
It has been my experience at Jimmy Johns that their breads are extremely chewy. I have a tough time eating their sandwich offerings because of that fact.
As someone from Denver, I can absolutely say that Snarf's is SO good! Even the desserts are fresh and varied to include all dietary needs ❤.
Delicious recipe
Subway and Jimmy John's are the only ones on this list we have
Mashed got this 100% right on JJ having the best bread. JJ is perfection❤
Tubby's subs in the Detroit area are awesome
Disappointed you didn’t include Earl of Sandwich. I think they are delicious. Thanks.
Your best is somewhere I'll never patronize
Quiznos was amazing!! Now it’s firehouse all the way.
Ever have day old bread from Subway, Its Horrible, if you visit a subway early in the day, that's what you get, I think subway will eventually be as popular as Blimpie
I was not that impressed with Jersey Mike's or Firehouse. I much prefer Subway and Jimmy John's. I did like Quizno's when they were around.
Where is Publix and the bread used in their Pub Subs?
Davanni's > this whole list.
Davanni's is a long time Italian Chain restaurant in Minnesota by the way.
Id definitely rate Jersey Mike's bread above Subway
And you get to pay for it.
Don't get me wrong, I like Jersey Mikes sandwiches.
Im surprised Jimmy Johns is ranked high. I think their bread is very average at best. Ill take which wich or jersey mikes bread any day.
Gee wiz; every other channel hates Subway!
Ladies and gentlemen the best sandwich that you can have is the one that you make yourself❤😊
Toasted wheat, with everything on it please.
I like the rosemary parmesan at Jersey Mikes
Makes the Big Kahunah so much better!! Don't forget to add extra meat and cheese
God I fucking miss Quiznos.
Jimmy John's wheat bread contains honey
Most of the good ones are lower on this list
If you’re testing the bread, then taste the bread, not the entire sandwich!
My nephew goes to JJ to just get the bread.
Always thought *Jimmy Johns* was the best of the bunch. You just confirmed it.
Went to our local Jimmy John's when they advertised hot sandwiches but was told they won't be offering them because it's too much work for their employees. I haven't been back since because if the employees can't handle a batch of meatballs then I can't trust them with anything else. Plus the service has gotten slow over the past year
@@hellhound1389 I don't blame you.
Delicious sandwich
I like Jersey Mike but expensive.
I can't believe Subway is ranked so high. Quite frankly, Subway sucks. Their subs never look like their ads or photos. They are very cheap on the ingredients. My son worked at a Subway and he said management was very strict in how much meat and cheese they were allowed to put on the subs. Every sub was precisely measured.
East Coast it's Wawa hands down
Best bread by far is Dibellas. Jimmy Johns is the worst and Subway isn't much better. No idea how those two are ranked as the top 2!
JJ's bread is tops. Around here, at the end of the day you buy the leftover bread to make your own.
blimpie BLOWS...... jersey mikes is $17.99 a sub
C,mon Lady, enough already ! Look, I can understand the allergy issues I have a child with a celiac issue. But for the rest of it, "Who cares?" The average person probably eats a sub sandwich maybe twice a month unless you work there or live next door. If you eat sub sandwiches more than than you have a lot of other problems to consider-- calories, salt, carbs, and with the customary soda- sugars. So some vegan gets a taste of honey? Doe's his world crash? Killer bees haunt his waking moments?
I give Jersey Mike's top marks for having gluten-free buns as an option.
🥯🍞🥖🥨🥐🫓🥪
I have and always will love JIMMI JOHN’S SUBWAYS SANDWICHES. In my humble opinion, they are the best. So is the second best, JERSEY MIKES.
It's a shame that Blimpies has fallen so far. They used to be WAY better than Subway in every way, better meats, topping and especially bread. But the fact that you've put Subway at #2 makes me question this list, as Subway bread is atrocious! It's not chewy, nor does it have much innate flavor, other than salt on top if you get their "specialty" breads. As a national chain its the worst sandwich shop there is, and I've live in over half of the states, its a last resort sort of place. Or when it was cheaper (back during the $5 footlong era), but at current prices, no where near worth the price.
Who has the widest buns...? 🤔 👀
YO MAMA!!!
WHY?
Why dont you ever review Cousin's Subs?!@?@?@?@@!!?!?!?!?!?
They are the best subs above all others!
They meats and veggies are fresh as can be, and the flavor is amazing!
Get on the stick Mashed!
You are failing
I think it’s BS.
I do not like Jersey Mike's, jimmy johns, or subway ...all their sandwiches contents are mediocre at best...might as well pop into the local grocery and buy a lunch meat...
