I’m having this test performed on May 29,2019 in Virginia. Thank you for the great presentation. I’m really hoping this pill shows how I digest food. I’ve has 3 scopes in 4 months and this is the last test. An ulcer was found during the oral scope which confirmed why I was in so much pain and dropped 60 pounds. This was a slow growing ulcer that didn’t rear its ugly head until 2 weeks before Christmas. I thought I die from the pain. I was put on strong antacids. I dropped an additional 13 pounds at my 2 month check up and my blood test revealed my Hemoglobin dropped a full point which could indicate internal bleeding. 2nd oral scope was ordered a couple weeks later. Ulcer healed but still having problems eating. The next scope was the lovely colonoscopy which came back normal. Biopsies from 2nd oral scope came back negative as well. This is the last test to clear my GI tract. I pray they find whatever is going on because I’m anemic, malnourished and look anorexic. I can’t take much more of this. I’ve begged for a feeding tube but my doc doesn’t feel it’s necessary yet. I’m 5’9 at 120 pounds, I think it’s time. I’ve been sick for 6 months and I’d like my life back. Wish me luck!!🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

The pill cam failed the first time. It bounced around in my stomach for 8 hours. Never went down the shoot. I had the test performed again a month later and this time it was planted into my small intestines so it would be successful. This time it worked. GI doc found a few small ulcers and inflammation in my small intestines. Naturally he thought I had Crohn’s. I had specialized blood work done and an MRI. Both tests came back negative. We’re now looking into other causes.

@@lauraw3338 Oh thank god. I'm in the same situation as you were two months ago schedule to have a capsule endoscopy next month... and i'm a little worried because i'm just a 19 year old.

@@lauraw3338 were you able to figure out the issue? I'm also having similar symptoms (weight loss and very low heamoglobin) and the doctor has advised me to do capsule endoscopy

i just had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy a couple days ago. now my dr wants me to do this so she can see the small intestine. do you have to do a clean out for this procedure as well?

They must be some other way of doing this i have been offed all colonoscopy endoscopy and the camera pill i cant take the pill it is to big. I think it is disgusting .
