I feel this will be a constant theme 😂 I quoted to do lawns only. Showed up in 3 minutes and it was a one off service. I did however spray all the garden beds for weeds.
You wouldn't get away with charging that amount in the UK.
The most anyone charges over here is £18P/hr and there is always a load of others willing to undercut even that low figure.
@@ramblingman8992 I seriously doubt anyone would charge $240 an hour for mowing lawns mate. It was just a bit of light hearted extrapolation on my part. All the best.
@@ramblingman8992 I wouldn’t charge that much for a scheduled service but when you’ve shown up and done it within 30 mins of the enquiry and it’s just a one off, in my opinion they should pay more.

Same day service, first initial cut, once off job.
Another great video mate! Just a tip from me. When working close to carsI take photos of the glass and panels before and after the job. Just in case they try to score a new windscreen or repairs to any small scratches etc. The digital image records the time and date if you need to prove you case. I'm happy to pay for damage that I caused, but not if I know I didn't cause it. I smashed the side window in my ute when edging a client's place. It's easily done. Keep the videos coming.

Bloody good mower I have the exact same model. The trimmer is rubbish hehe 2 stroke Stihl is the only trimmer worth using I my humble opinion. Keep up the good work I enjoy watching your videos.

I'm not being critical when I ask this, just inquisitive. I've never seen an edger like you use, I've only ever seen the ones that look like an attachment to a string trimmer power head. Why did you choose that style? How do you like using it?
It’s called an atom edger. Australian company. They are very good, my biggest complaint is that it doesn’t store well because of its shape👍 thanks for watching

Funny...course Australia is about the size of continental USA...Tim might not want to drive 3000 miles across outback and 3000 miles back, every week for AUS $40, maybe USD $30, yard job. I think most people in USA think this is world's biggest country and Australia is about the size of Rhode Island, maybe 😁.

You could have dine faster if you edged all 1st then came back with bagged lawnmower and finished up. Like shopping. In 55 years, I have never gone down the same aisle twice. 15 minutes and I've shopped for over 30 days and spent $200.00 easily.

1:57 I might have trimmed around the edges here first before using the mower. That way more of the clippings from the trimmer could be mulched up or sucked up by the mower.
I go over it at the end with the bagged mower to collect it all.

Never had a complaint, got some raised eyebrows but when I explained why, people understood.taxes, insurance, workers comp, licenses, materials, fuel cost and hope I didn't burn a $110.00 diamond blade.
