    In Cape Breton we always had fried bolognie ,and fried onions with mashed potatoes. That gumdrop cake you had previously was another staple! Thank you again.

    I've never had bologna stew or gravy. In fact, I stopped eating bologna years ago after I read what was in it. Maybe they make it better where you are. American food is practically inedible anymore. That is such beautiful country where your cabin is at!! It's amazing what you can load up on a sled and snowmobile to get things done there. The cabin is coming along well!! Nice to meet Denise!

    Your chocolate cookies are very similar to Australian lamingtons only we use cake instead of bread. What a beautiful cabin and a great video.

    Hey Denise from Maine. Not sure of your mechanical abilities but if you type in the model of that Yamaha generator you can just order a new carburetor for it. Even if it’s not an original Yamaha one. They’re pretty cheap and easy to change. The new crappy fuel has that one gummed up and not all of them can be cleaned completely that’s why it’s surging. They’re pretty straight forward to swap out. Take care Bob

      I use fuel stabilizer on all my things, you have one kind for warm weather, another for winter, I'll bet if you get it let it run it will clean it out, it works wonderful, since I been using it I have never had anymore problems. I always allow things to run their self's dry works fantastic.

      @rwoods6132 Рік тому +2

      I agree with Tony. Get a new carb and install it! Use the best fuel you can buy and add stabilizer to it. Run your generator at least once a quarter to keep the fuel kinda fresh.

    I cut about a half of a inch of my cabin door one time because of the same reason. It made no difference, so I cut another half of an inch off, still was sticky. Took a whole inch off the next time and no luck so I just gave up and went to bed. Man it was a drafty night. In the morning I noticed the door dropped 2" over night. I decided to get a new door. It worked much better.
    Another great video Bob. Love it.. great spot you have there and nice to see you took Denise along..👍

    Bologna(e) and gravy in the Notre Dame Bay Area 😊 Ontario now so this brings back some memories and taste buds are firing… and for the comment about “stopped eating it when he found out what’s in it” simple solution, stop looking at the ingredients and just enjoy, there are worst things in life 😂 now add a can vienna sausages, hmmmm .. great videos, really enjoying the cabin series

    My wife and I are both born and raised and living in Wisconsin. We often have a dish that her parents made that is similar to your bologna stew/bologna and gravy, except we do not thicken the liquid. I like the bologna, onions and liquid over fried potatoes or slices of toasted bread. My parents just fried the bologna and onions, and had them with fried or mashed potatoes. In my book, it is good either way! The cabin is taking shape - nice to see spouses working together for mutual benefit. And no moose this time on the way in! "Hunker Down" and "Step Two"!

    If you make a strong set of shelves that are open to the Bunks you can make them a stairs to the top bunk for a duel purpose cabinet on the op end of bunks. Then the ladder can be eliminated and give extra space to Boot.

    It's funny what you call balony is called different things elsewhere. I grew up in Western Australia and it's called polony, whereas now I live in NSW and it's called Devon. In Qld it's called luncheon meat and in SA it's fritz. And that's just in Australia.
    Keep up the good work 👍

    Almost sounds like your generator is getting to cold. Those little ones are air cooled and tend to need an insulating box when the temps drop, they provide their own heat. Just need a bit of ventilation (not much) and a port for the exhaust that is big enough to keep the Exhaust from effecting the box.

    I call it bolony stew as well I’m from the east coast of Newfoundland! How ever what she made I would call bolony and gravy! I’ve never had it before but I have had bolony stew before bolony stew my mother makes is the best you will never eat you had what I would call bolony and gravy I’ve never had it before but if I had to put a name to it that’s what it would be! Lol😂 however my mother makes bolony stew I call it that because you make it with the same carrots onions potatoes turnip and gravy the same as you would a beef stew or rabbit or moose stew just with bolony just make you stew like you normally would with the vegetables and pan fry as many slices of thick bolony you desire depending on the soze of roaster you have it in and brown them off good and cut them in big chunks and add them to the stew put back in the oven for a while and stir it up a few times and I’m telling you your tounge will bet the eyebrows right off ya the bolony puts some taste to eat it’s delicious try it some time you won’t regret it! We used maple leaf bolony I’ve had it with sunrise as well and they both won’t disappoint next time I’m doing it with moose bolony!🤤
