Ooty is famous for Tea 🍵☕, homemade chocolates and Eucalyptus oil, herbal oils.
Malabar is Kerala, Konkan coast is Karnataka Goa Maharastra, coromandal coast is Tamilnadu , Andra Pradesh and Orissa.
Kutch is Gujarath.
You are to not see tiger you are lucky if you see the tiger then you will not see the next morning 19:05
Bandipur and Mudumalai are contiguous tiger reserves, one belonging to Tamilnadu and other to Kerala. There is a 3rd tiger reserve called Nagarahole that abuts Mudumalai and Bandipur.
As for tiger sightings, your best odds are in Nagarahole in Kabini or Nanachi gates. Bandipur and Mudumalai are a bit difficult to spot tigers.
And you are pretty far away from the Malabar coast which is around Central to Northern Kerala. Malabar cuisine is very famous and a unique cuisine of Kerala.

Guys please don't stop while seeing elephants, ....today a uk citizen died at Valparai and that was elephant attack...its too dangerous.... please be safe
Hey be careful when you go near an elephant standing near road . Today someone lost their life by an elephant attack near Valparai. When I saw the video of the attack i hoped you were safe. love you guys ❤
60 years old British guy
@@Vishnu-l9r3j German
@ Or 77yo German according to the papers
Yes a German guy on a Royal Enfield 350. You guys please be safe, wild elephants will not stop at anything.
Chhudakad ho kya
All time smiling face indicates open mind, kindhearted, helpful, soft behaviour. Good luck. Stay fit ,happy and healthy. Jai hind.
❤️❤️❤️
The total views are really unreal. As indian ,i also don't know that such a beautiful place exist in india. Thank you guys
😍😍😍
U from north?
Habibi come to south ❤
That's the beauty of our India , different types of lands, desert green forest, ice mountains 😊
Beef curry ? See how Mughals and British converted and brainwashed Hindus to eat Beef, which once they considered sacred. Sad.
@@BecauseIamBatman007 ice mountains...really?😂
@@BecauseIamBatman007 bruh agreed im from haryana , but kerala and tamil nadu are the best states of india
That stop was heavily dangerous 😮
Sorry 🙈
Can't agree more. It takes very little to annoy lone tuskers and they can be incredibly quick when attacking. The first two elephants were wild ones.
@@LaviandOllie When you're that close to a wild elephant, you have to pretend to ignore the elephant and keep moving, otherwise you can make it nervous. If it gets nervous, bad day for you. And if you manage to really annoy the elephant and still escape, it might lash out at whoever comes along next.
@@LaviandOlliethat’s ok now you guys know it… and its really incredible that how much research go in to each of your videos… keep up the good work…. Godspeed….
We are saddened to inform you of the death of a British citizen in a wild elephant attack in Valparai.
The broth served with South Indian meals is Sambar (with an R). Sambal / Sambol is a different preparation of Malaysian origin, also popular in Sri Lanka.

19:59 i literally got Teared when i heard Mysore, its an Emotion ❤ cultural capital of Karnataka ❤

Coastal Ride in Karnataka is one of the best for bikers. You can go to Maravante through Agumbe and then reach to Gokarna. Very scenic!
Awesome 🤩
You must and should travel the coastal Karnataka guys don't miss out ❤@@LaviandOllie
Dam! The co-ordination between u 2 while riding is amazing
❤️
Another amazing video from South India, keep up the good work! 🇮🇳
❤️❤️❤️
The drone shorts are breath taking I like it
🤩 glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Lavi and Ollie for taking me back to my childhood through your vlog. I was born in Mysore and grew up in Gudalur which meant I did so many trips back on forth on that route to meet my grandparents (fathers side in Ooty and mothers side in Mysore). Now I live in Australia and cherished every moment of the video that took me back to my childhood (although a lot has changed since). All the best for the rest of your travels. A little suggestion for you to add srirangapattana a small historical town out of Mysore, and Mysore also a lot to offer!
❤️❤️❤️
Hey guys ! I hope you're having a great time in India.. as an Indian I too am touring India through your channel 😄 I'd also like for you guys to point it out to the Indian audience why we should maintain some cleanliness in our surroundings.. such beautiful locations like Ooty, and the streets are full of plastic wrappers and garbage.. until a foreigner tells us, we do not want to change... But it would be nice if people visiting India educated us about keeping the place a bit clean..
First off thankyou and visit again to Tamilnadu🙏🏻😇 props to ollie for pronouncing udhagamandalam right 👏🏻 and just FYI malabar isn't the local cuisine from the region you just were it's from the west coast side of India from the state of Kerala! So happy to see you guys travel and enjoy the city where I lived for a year and I hope you had an amazing experience in Tamilnadu! 🙌🏻😇
AWESOME 🤩
Please visit Bhadra wildlife Sanctuary in Chikmagalur, Karnataka
🤩
14:27, they have a sheltering camp sites specially to treat elephants from ill, wounded from carnivores animal attacks and separated young ones. The big ones are sheltered and trained for building new sites around them.
Nice...Passing through a national park or a tiger reserve on a bike is an awesome experience❤
The first elephant you saw in mudumalai was not tamed, he attacks people and vehicles when he is in bad mood
I have never seen anyone present india so well. Not even Indian you tubers. It's so amazing to see how you're engaging with people with love and courtesy .I'm watching my home from uk super❤
❤️❤️❤️
On 24th Jan I returned from my first motobike trip in my beloved India, on purpose I did North India, cause South India I would love to do with my wife. Guys I love your videos, your wibe. You provide a nice motivation to return (I hope soon). I do not know how much time you have, but Rajastan (e.g. Pushkar, Uadaipur, and remote villages arround), I highly recommend! Stay safe and good luck, wish you only good people to meet on road, Namaste, M
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Another beaut of a vid, entertaining and informative 😊 My month-long ride & travel thru Rajasthan and a grand finale in Varanasi (😳🤪!) ended last week and I gotta go back to India! Been thinking the south and your content validates that. Might just follow your route as it looks awesome! 😅
14:11 love how he waves back
😍
Bro you are not only passed through Bandipur tiger reserve but also through mudumalai Tiger reserve which is located in Tamil Nadu side and for your kind information Bandipur tiger reserve does not have highest number of tigers, Jim Corbett National Tiger reserve in Uttarakhand have the highest more than 260 tigers.
And this forest landscape is more than 14000 square km big.
Thank you for the information 😊
Thank you Lavi and Ollie...for bring such pure vlogs...simple yet so good story about your journey and Bharat (India). your cinematic editing is really amazing.,. you showing Tamilnadu in very beautiful way
Glad you enjoying it ❤️
Lavi and ollie, i want to say a thing that do not stop bike when you see elephant on side of the road💀 because it will attack you guys so today i saw a news that a foreigner from germany died because of an elephant attack in tamil nadu when iseen that news i taught about you guys stopping to see the elephants pls dont stop to see elephants on any forest 💔
Looks like Lavi feels very happy with her travel - I can see her face glowing and happier than what i saw in the first few episodes. I am seeing your videos after nearly 3 weeks so the difference is telling. Hope you two enjoy this country and go back with great memories.
Yes she loves it 😍
14:20 There could a elephant rescue place near by. Elephants are no more used for logging in India. At the rescue center they do different exercises to keep them busy and healthy.
It is a place where Kumki's are kept - Retired Kumki's are also lodged there. Google for Theppakadu. Once a year Elephants from temples are sent there for a couple of months to rejuvenate.
Iam so glad that you guys are exploring south side of india ❤
❤️
Glad those guys asked you to move on!!! Single elephants can be very dangerous in no time!!!! I was shouting at the screen.....keep moving guys!!!
I think you people are enjoying the journey .
please enjoy the ride in india and drive safely ....
Totally 😍
To everyone watching this video : please don't stop near wildlife and try taking selfies or talk loudly...These things can provoke them and the next rider / driver may be in danger...
Hi Lavi &Olli, welcome to Tamil Nadu. Tamil is the oldest in the world. U are clearly explaining each area you reach. Your knowledge about visiting places is amazing.
I am watching all your video series in India. All the best for future series and trips to complete in Leh, Ladakh.
Kindly provide me with your email that I may communicate for something important.
Thank you for your lovely videos...
Thank you so much 🙂 email is laviandollie@gmail.com 🤩
@LaviandOllie Thank you 👍
Another cozy video. Thank you guys. Waiting for more videos to come quick. Be careful of elephants though. Wild elephants, especially if they are found alone tend to be aggressive and are kinda dangerous. Ride safe guys!
Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Enjoying every part of the journey and music selection 😊
Guys there are many tourist places in and around mysuru make sure you don't miss it ❤
❤️
Also please please try jackfruit, it's much popular in South India. You'll love it for sure, because many of German friends in here with me loves it. Stay happy, fit and safe. Love from Dortmund ❤
When I saw Mangalore Flag...
Goosebumps 🔥🔥🔥..... Mangalore Land of Tuluvas...
Hey visit beach City Mangalore
I am also from tulunadu just because kanadigas carry red yellow flag I admire it but legally everything is one flag that's national flag
We should have only one flag all over India law say too
As tuluva I respect tulunadu too
❤️❤️❤️
Very Nice guys! I enjoy Ollie explaining everything, you are a real travel guide!
❤️❤️❤️
The fire you see is deliberate. It is to deter tigers/other wild animals not to attack humans by hiding in vegetation.
You will notice that during safari too.
Thank you ollie for rightly pronouncing the real name of ooty as uthagamandalam . Please be safe and enjoy your stay in india .
❤️
Please dont stop if you see elephants or any wild animals on forest routes, u got really lucky there😵. My heart dropped when you guys stopped there🤧. Ride Safe
Sorry 🙈

The north part of KERALA is called MALABAR..The MALABAR restaurant is all the way from KERALA .
❤️
What we Malayalis call "Malabar" is just the former British Malabar. There's a broader meaning in English where the entire South-Western coast from Goa down to Kanyakumari is called the Malabar Coast.
But yes, the restaurant is likely a Malayali outfit.
@@rexsceleratorum1632Malabar is a region in India. It is located on the southwestern coast of India, between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats mountain range. The region includes most of Kerala state....and let u know that now a days only kerala peoples also call malabaries
@@naufal44 Malabaar is a foreign word spoken Arabs and other foreigners.
Actual name is "Malavaaram".
Which means Mountain Valley.
Horses and pigs on the loose might be expected, but pine trees and carrots in India! Not expected!
When you're riding at elevation there's only one way to go I guess and that is down! What an awesome ride down it was! And a great spot for lunch too. 😁
How amazing to see the elephants so close to the road. I'm surprised that you were allowed to ride through this tiger reserve. Bummer you can't have a picnic there though. 🤣
Sounds like an amazing couple of episodes are coming up next! 👍
Beef(water buffalo) curry or roast with Malabari Porotta with raw onion slices, A Malayali's pride and emotion.
Thats tipu sultans culture. Not actual malayali culture
@@brAmbedkarvadheemusalmaan Even Malayali Brahmins do not deny me. After all you are not even a Malayali.
@@sreekantcpall these beef culture came to kerela post foreign invasion. Some 100 year old medieval history is not kerela culture nor bharaths culture. I'm a malayalee settled in tn.
@@brAmbedkarvadheemusalmaan beef is in our culture from 3rd millennium BCE starts with Malabar-Arab trade. Arabs sold us dried camel and donkey meat in those era. and later hunting culture. VEDI IRACHI culture (rabbit, Kulakozhi, thavala kaal, wild boar, marapatti, neernaya, aama). Some parts of TN also have this culture. Foreign invasion happened whole of of India. In north Muslim invaders brought the chicken and mutton eating culture, in north-east it is inherit(they consume dogs, snakes and so on)
@@brAmbedkarvadheemusalmaan To just let you know Beef is eaten by Europeans South Americans East Asians the highest and not Middle Eastern countries. Beef became popular in India because it was cheap and to clarify Beef is Cow meat all over the world. McDonalds and Burger King the burger patty consumed highest is Beef not Chicken or Lamb and highly consumed in US. Muslims are not the highest beef consumers they consume it the lowest as beef is very expensive in Middle Eastern countries. If as a country we need to develop and attract tourist we should look outwardly not inwardly. If you don't like something and restrict then nobobdy will visit you. Just look at Malaysia Dubai, Qatar these are Muslim countries but Pork is available and consumed. You need to serve tourist (guest) what they like not what you like. Our trains, airlines and most of the restairants only provide Indian spicy food so when a tourist from outside visit India they don't find it palatable. Visit South East Asian countries you will realise they have multiple options and don't force tourist to eat what they eat which is why most of the foreign tourist prefer travelling over there as compared to India. India has one of the best tourist attractions in the world but are infrastructure our food, garbage and pollution and harrasment by public makes tourist unwelcome. Food is the first thing which makes humans happy and if we stop providing meat then nobody would want to visit us.
I feel properly teased for the upcoming videos at the palace and the safari 😀 Happy and alive 💜
The first two elephants are the wild elephants. You both are fortunate they didn't chase you. The truck driver did the right thing by telling not to stop. The remaing elephants in this video are trained to do works for humans
Thank you for letting us know ❤️
@@LaviandOlliethank God that wild elephant not in ...musssth ....Google musssth in elephants .....that first elephant was not in musth .....n Google how many human casualty in India about human n wild elephant conflict......how they capture wild man killing elephant ...n they were trained n kept in camp

Love from ooty tamil nadu,I really enjoyed and liked your blogs...ride safe take care buddies...❤
Thanks a ton❤️
The elephants you see with a manhunt are the elephants owned by forest department. They have a Elephant rehabilitation centre inside the national park and are taken care of. Majority of these Elephants are captured because of man animal conflict, as most of these killed more than 10 humans in past and raid crops often. Forest department try to relocate them first, but if they still come back to kill humans and damage crops then they are being captured by forest department. That is now these are end up in the rehabilitation center.
These elephants are now trained and used to push back aggressive wild elephants from forest border villages and that kind of activities if necessary. 🙏
Thank you for the information 😍
Go either early in the morning or in the evening.. there you will see a lot of animals .. if you are very very lucky you might see some leapords or tiger.. and please don't stop while going through the forest.. thats little dangerous.. you stopped too close to the elephant.. Happy they were minding their business. .. and one week ago a lady was killed and eaten from heads to hips by a tiger in wayanad and these tigers are from this forest range. But the tiger was chased and killed
2:56 UDHAGAMANDALAM ❤❤❤
The reason which you guys didn’t see much animals ... because Animals come out in morning and evening...

Your entering in to the third state, different culture, food & language.
Welcome to Karnataka.
Bye bye to Tamilnadu & Kerala.
Also you are entering to the Deccan Plateau from the Western ghats and its Malabaar(Malavaaram means Valley).

Hey Lavi & Ollie, I’m not a guy usually drops in a comment… I’m pushing myself to do this though I enjoyed thoroughly binge watching all your videos of india season in a day.. Lavi your infectious smile and super energetic Ollie.. much ❤ guys!!
I must thank and appreciate you being so humble, accepting and appreciating varied culture, class of people and places.. I’m sure it is some time overwhelming when ppl come for pictures, road traffic and cleanliness... but I have never seen u guys sulking, complaining or blaming.. in the trend of many English creators have fancied to make negative thumbnails and titbits to attract views and comments.. you guys are spreading positivity and smiles everywhere..
Being a backpacker from Bengalore India.. just an input as per my observation, I would have stayed in Varkala a night (best beach town in Kerala) and on the way do bird statue.. also explored outskirts of Ooty for couple nights at-least which is 200 times better than town in self even considering the fast internet, same way I would have stayed in Bandipur forest reserve cottage for a night which is 3k for both( experiencing a night there is unreal, there are 3 resident leopards and 100s of deers comes to rest within the campus during night) and great conversation with forest staffs would have given you guys more insights on ecology and would enhance your safari experience..I was there here this weekend too. I wanted to say this as I love you guys to have the best and realistic experience in our massive and mystic India.. hence please please try dig a bit more in research or just take some inputs from travelling community locally..
Apart from this!! Can’t ❤ u guys more!! Wish u the best for your future journey.. and off-course wish to meet u guys but seems like you not making to Bengalore
Thank you so much for your kind comment ❤️
Dont stop in the forest which is not only illegal but unsafe too. have a nice trip beautiful twins.
