Yea that's crazy... I've heard some grocery chains used to dump chemicals on perfectly good food so people couldn't eat it, maybe with the logic that they could possibly get sick and sue them. They recently made that practice illegal in some countries... a small triumph of humanity and common sense over capitalism.
