- Welcome to our next episode in the Aurora project. In this episode we provide customers an insight into how the carriage will look and highlights all the features EMR has worked so hard to refine.
It features interviews with designers, suppliers and the EMR staff behind the project to bring the new start-of-the-art trains to the Midland Mainline.

Hopefully the cleanliness of these trains will be improved over all the current fleet which are basically shabby and dirty to be honest. There’s no point in investing if cleaning standards are low. Looking forward to these though.
Looks to be a great design and with better seats than other IEP trains. There needs to be a focus on keeping them clean once they are into service.
How many cycle spaces will there be? Currently there are more bikes than spaces every. single. day. I couldn't care less whether the seats are comfy if i still have to go through the stress of not knowing whether i will be allowed to get on the train home. Avanti west coast manage to have a whole carriage for bikes, i hope you have planned for this too

The Class 810 Aurora are expected to enter service some time next year and perhaps EMR should keep some of the Class 222 Meridians.

The most local point for me to get a ride would be st pancras so what i might do when it finally arrives is go down to somewhere i haven’t been like darbeh for a few hours🤭
I might add, that as much as this livery looks stunning, i still cant put it before the hull trains paragon one, that one is just something else!
TPE is nice and so is Lumo, but this EMR intercity with its bi modal functionalities none of the other iets have definitely comes 2nd on my list 😎
Hi EMR Love the new trains that are coming why not keep the 222s aswell (as they are iconic) and with double to services why not get EMR back to Leeds again? Youve done it with HSTs so why not? saves people swapping at Sheffield aswell.
and Internet yeah its not the greatest but it works fine for me your on the train to travel not for Fun (Although i go for fun and a day out) You get the point its to get you from A-B Like a car you dont get Internet in a car.
I am hoping that the seats on the Class 810 Aurora trains should be lot more comfortable than the seats on the Class 222 Meridians.
When are they coming into service?!?!?
Estimated this year but with where they are it will probably be early next year or very late this year

Also EMR wont be here in 40 years so theres no need for fabric to last that long as a refurbish will take place somewhere in 20 odd years
