just started last week and i just finished the sasuke vs naruto fight (which is why im looking at the reaction now) and i gotta say for something that came out almost 2 decades ago this is probably one of the best fights i've seen ever, and i've seen a shit ton of anime before that. Really hyped for the rest of the series !
because this anime is evergreen, I started watching anime back in 2014 with AOT, then after a couple of animes, I try Naruto & I was like “no wonder I’ve already know about this show even before I start watching anime yet, now I know why.”

Man Naruto part 1 is a masterpiece, people can bash shippuden because of its end and its whatever, but Naruto part 1 is on the highest level of animation fluidity, its packed with ambiance and everything, that too goes for early shippuden
Naruto part 1 pre time skip is a masterpiece. Too bad that Kishimoto ruined almost everything with the 4th Ninja World War arc. Although that arc has also it's great moments and despite some of it's flaws when it comes to the plot, it's Anime's version still has some fire animation and fight scenes. I think that overall One Piece as a whole is better when it comes to the plot and worldbuilding but Naruto fight scenes are on another level compared to One Piece's. Don't get me wrong, Naruto's plot is also great, especially Naruto part 1 which I once honestly preferred to One Piece

This is an amazing animation for any anime. You won't show 5 examples of modern anime with better animation than here. It's either significantly worse than here or very uneven and dirty. Here, the entire 133 ep hold up to the same level of quality, these aren't individual scenes. Not to mention the great storyboarding. MAPPA would just dream of a storyboard of this quality.

Midway Naruto over powers Sasuke and forces the real version of the character out into the open rather than the pretend villain he was portraying. Sasuke discovers that the reason Naruto was so fixated on him was deeper than some petty rivalry. It was a true bond by a person cursed to bear the hatred of the village that was attempting to establish a positive relationship. It was here they truly connected probably for the first time ever
The greatest/best battle ever in anime history. Story wise, animation, accurate fighting scene,etc everything at its highest level. Only kids who don't know anything will disagree.

There's a reason why Sharingan is called "The Eye that sees everything" Because of Perception of movement They can predict what is your next move and counters as soon as possible

When Sasuke was being bombarded with Shadow Clones, his eyes were transitioning from one clone to the next, and to the next, one at a time. Albeit very rapidly, causing him to dodge and counter. But once the Nine Tails cloak pops out, it acts of its own accord. In, Sasuke's own words, "It has a mind of its own" completely separate from Naruto's own physical movements. The cloak then attacks in an unpredictable pattern that Sasuke's fully evolved Sharingan can't keep track of. That's why he says "all I can do is dodge."
I felt bad for both naruto and sasuke, keep in mind that we didn't know itachi's true story so to sasuke he looks at his brother as a murderer who killed his family and betrayed him and we're looking at naruto who never had anything till he made a bond with sasuke/team 7 so losing him is hard too, DAMNNNN this was tuff

Someone once told me the reason there is such a big blast after the rasegon and chidori is because the R has a mean rotation and the chidori lightening style just bounces and creates the explosion.
I literally just realized that when Naruto 'screams' back Sasuke's fireball he's using the first wind style technique. His chakra nature is air, which is why that happened like that.
Interesting fact haven’t noticed really I only assumed it was because he went berserker mode that amplified his over all stats and strength that let him to do that 😂

Best fight of Naruto and maybe the best fight in all of anime history even. At the time nothing it came out I had never seen anything like it before. Even today it still holds up incredible.
I haven't seen nearly as much anime as some people have, but either way, it's hard to imagine very many fights which could hold a candle to this one. You may have very good fights in Dragon Ball or AoT or elsewhere, fights that're spectacular, but this fight is like a literal milestone in anime, from the tension that's built over the last 100 episodes, to the voice acting, the music, the way it's written, it's just THAT well done, really

Episode 133 is my favorite episode from Naruto! What's really disappointing is that they couldn't keep up with their own success. This ep is the highest rated episode with a 9.4/10 but the following one couldn't beat it and went down to a 9.1/10. There had to be a major sacrifice and new music to really top the last ep but I guess Kakashi Sensei doesn't learn from his or anyone's mistakes and let's not forget they didn't add the shock factor.

Someone once told me the reason there is such a big blast after the rasegon and chidori is because the R has a mean rotation and the chidori lightening style just bounces and creates the explosion.

Sasuke seemed to have gotten an EXTREME buff in durability. Lots of the blows Naruto gave him probably would crippled anyone else.

Best fight of Naruto and maybe the best fight in all of anime history even. At the time nothing it came out I had never seen anything like it before. Even today it still holds up incredible.
I haven't seen nearly as much anime as some people have, but either way, it's hard to imagine very many fights which could hold a candle to this one. You may have very good fights in Dragon Ball or AoT or elsewhere, fights that're spectacular, but this fight is like a literal milestone in anime, from the tension that's built over the last 100 episodes, to the voice acting, the music, the way it's written, it's just THAT well done, really

Episode 133 is my favorite episode from Naruto! What's really disappointing is that they couldn't keep up with their own success. This ep is the highest rated episode with a 9.4/10 but the following one couldn't beat it and went down to a 9.1/10. There had to be a major sacrifice and new music to really top the last ep but I guess Kakashi Sensei doesn't learn from his or anyone's mistakes and let's not forget they didn't add the shock factor.
