Hello man, can you explain me one thing: Why Max Digging Depth Hitachi ex-8000-6 is signifficant more, than a max digging depth Cat 6090 FS? Cat is bigger, and cat has crowd force 3300kN, Hitachi has only 2230. Then why cat max digging depth only 2.3 m(very small for excavator of this size) , Hitachi 4.1m (shovel)-8.4m (backhoe). The only guess I could take at why the reason might be is because the Cat 6090 uses the tri-power system on the front end which may possibly restrict digging depth. The Tri-power system was developed by German manufacturer O&K. The 6090 is an O&K RH400. I don't know why you'd need to dig into the ground much with a face shovel anyway. Only backhoes need it so they can get high up on a bench to load trucks level with the top of the bodys.
