It's incredibly refreshing to actually hear and see a pest control professional like yourself be open and refreshingly honest about the uselessness of the various products insecticide companies hustle to consumers and the expensive and damaging treatments many, though not all, exterminators use to treat and kill bed bugs! Thank you for all that you do, thank you for this great channel and thank you for all of the helpful videos you upload!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for the recommendations , I had bed bugs, thankfully it wasn’t too bad . They are all gone with just crossfire !
How long did it take for you ?
Crossfire an amazing product . Jason an amazing guy 🤘🏽
What would be an awesome video is to show a start to finish on a bed bug job.
In every profession technique plays a huge role… AND CROSSFIRE in a bed bug case.
Thank you so much. I ordered 3 bottles of Crossfire, California here, just in case the state outlaws it again. Spraying today & would never attempt this without your kind educational expertise; in fact, I was scheduled for the heat treatment and cancelled after I watched just one of your videos & thankfully never applied D.E.
Thank you again. Humanity could use a lot more honest people like yourself❣
To all the Bed bug victims-Don’t forget to watch ALL the commercials in full. That’s the least we can do for Jason
I do have videos where I do bed bug work start to finish and I’m actually editing another today
@@GreenAkersPCthat sounds fantastic! Thank you! 😂😂
Thanks Jason! I appreciate your sharing advice with everyone. Keep making great content
Thankyou. You are very reassuring!
Glad you're back hopefully the family is feeling better.
Much appreciated info
Thank you for this video. I will be watching more of your videos.
This was very informative. Please do a part 2.
Great Video
Thank you
My mentor!!!!
Thank you for the very practical and reliable education!
Absolutely wow! 😢
How do I treat a small apartment. I had my apartment treated by a professional and after 4 months I saw one. I didn't have them bad but I threw out my couches and bed. The exterminator came back and when I told him I saw one he said he would come back and just treat the baseboards but he never came back. He talked to me like he thought I was just being stupid. I just want to know how to treat it myself before I put new furniture in. This has affected me mentally 😭 and I just want to be sure I can get rid of them.
I love the Matthew McConaughey vibes!😂
Me toooo!
Hey, I was just wondering if you could do a video about how hoarders can tackle a bed bug infestation, please? It just seems to be a topic that doesn't get talked about much.
Jason mentioned once that when a place is too cluttered, he just sprays the bed and around it, no where else in the abode. One must use Crossfire, as no other product will kill bedbugs in a extremely cluttered environment.
Double sided tape helps to trap them
It’s going to be even harder to get rid of the bedbugs because of the clutter, you really need to declutter as much as humanly possible prior to treating
@@muslimsister1250 Do you have a specific brand?
Very informative video! Can Crossfire be used all over a couch? Or only in the places that skin will not touch?
I had a handful of bedbugs come to my kids room via family that we didn't kmow they had them. Im exterminator used crossfire and hopefully they are all gone. I did by my own crossfire so should i spray my house again? Thank you for you videos, you are very informative and helpful beyond belief!
Nice info. Off topic …Regarding fleas. What happens to them in the winter. Once cooler weather came in seems like fleas are gone.
Good question. I wonder the same 🤔
Im actually a pest control technician in nc just did a bed bug job today actually and i agree with you whole heartedly with your opinion on the heat treatment it can do so much damage and there are actually more efficient ways to treat now. One of those new ways i used is a treatment called apprehend

Hello,
New subscriber here
We live in a large Assisted/Independent type living community.
Recently there has been a few of the Independent apartments that have had bed bugs.
The manager is having the maintenance guy's handling this!!
Yah I know 😠
Needless to say that they are doing a piss poor job if it!!! They are locking people out of their house for 2-3hrs, wouldn't allow a lady to take her CAT ... Locked it in the bathroom! Sent the poor woman outside in the cold without a coat because they put it in the dryer and it had to stay in there for a certain time. Then they threw away her furniture without bagging it up (it had bugs-couch) hauling it through the halls and elevator!! Then sprayed her house with Alcohol and allowed her back in after 4hrs.
HELP
PLEASE do a follow up to the PREVENTION video you did one year ago 🙏
We are both unwell people 65yrs old....and terrified of getting them. Almost more afraid of the staff and what they are doing more than the bugs!!
I pray you see this
Hi Jason, you mentioned Alpine for prevention. I am thinking
ones we are done with crossfire should I use Alpine?
I wish you lived in KY!
Hello how are you Jason Could you please tell me the top recommended insect growth regulator that you use I'm trying to treat for flea eggs pupea and larvae thank you so much
Label is Law!
Do you have any videos on preventatives
Yeah ive used DE all over my carpet to kill bedbugs cuz i watched the mark rober video thankfully i did not sleep in that room now i wont even go in there at all ive been trying to clean it with a vacuum for day with 2 face masks on
Is it still effective to puff inside the wall or should that be avoided too?
Part 2 please as soon as i get on. My feet. Ill send you some money you have no idea how much hope you're giving me I have just moved back home to to New Hampshire I'm in recovery and I'm just finally getting back with my my kids and I I got bed bugs and it was causing me a lot of stress and now you're giving me
😢 unfortunately we do not have Crossfire in Canada! Any recommendations available north of the border?
I have dog & turtle my turtle tank is in my bedroom thats where the bed bugs were at ...what can I use safe for my turtle?
Thank you for the great video. When trying to get rid of the bed bugs, instead of packaging up all the objects in a room couldn't you just wipe them down with alcohol?
That won’t really work
Hello Jason, i was hoping you could answer a question for me, i have a left over bottle of crossfire from when i had bought a handful of bottles to treat a small bedbug infestation 2 years ago, but Im about to move into a new apartment and was wondering if it the bottle has been unopened the entire time will it still be potent enough to use in my new apartment? Appreciate any insight that could be given.
It should be fine to use
I have an empty rental property. I have had it sprayed along the baseboards. The problem I’m told is that with nobody in the house, the bedbugs will not come out and cross over the chemical threshold. I’m told there are products that produce CO2 or mimic people breathing? Is there a product I can put in the centre of the room to draw some of these bed bugs out?
I replied to this question already on that other video
Tell us about interceptors
ua-cam.com/video/1o5Dyw9R7GA/v-deo.html Just for you!
That Heat Treatment Is Expensive ‼️About $1800 😳
How likely is a bedbug problem due to an adjacent apartment which is infested?
Hey Jason we’ve been treating with Crossfire since mid October, just did another round this past weekend and I was wondering if it was normal for the little buggers to be particularly agitated/bitey directly after a treatment? It sucks having to be the bait but we’re doing everything we can to get rid of them.
I've heard that this can happen! When they come in contact with the chemical, it messes with their nervous system and basically puts them in survival mode before they die...you'll see them exhibiting unusual behavior like traveling further than normal and coming out during the day. They'll also try to feed more often because that's the only thing they know how to do to stay alive. So if you notice this, I think that means it is working and they are fighting for their lives.
Did you get rid of them for good?
Hey Jason, I live in Paris and I bought dinotefuran from a local Chinese store just in case so far so far haven’t seen any bed bug, the media is exaggerating
Is this a permethrin? Haven't heard of this one.
No it’s alpine
@@GreenAkersPC not sure what that means. Is it effective?
So do i need to sweep up the diatomaceous earth powder before i spray the cross fire?
I recommend that of all my bed bug jobs.
Can you recommend a good professional in Chester Co Pa?
what about essentiial oil sprays
They never work
How can we trust the pesticides are safe after all the testing when ddt was also tested and determined safe?
DDT saved millions of lives what are you on about?
I mean JUST crossfire ....shouldn't you be switching between apprehend and crossfire or alpine to prevent resistance developing ? what can the industry be doing to make sure the neonicotinoids aren't overused and go the way of pyrethroids?
The industry can’t help resistance. It’s inevitable for them to eventually become immune it’s just how things Work
Hi jason dear!I am going through trauma for the bed bug problem.and I treat my house cf before 15 days till now I am getting beaten a lot ...what u suggest me pls?and how can I have a conversation with you ?thank you
It can take up to a month or so for all the bed bugs to die off. If you still are getting bit after a month had gone by treat again.
Thank u Jason!may God bless u
Jason, do you recommend essential oils and if they do work does bed bugs develop a resistance to these oil’s ?
Thank you for all the great info.
Essential oils are too toxic to use as a pesticide
Hi I'm in Britain, how many rooms does 1 bottle of 13 oz crossfire do. Can you do a video of best use for it please. It's £50 in the UK
One 13oz bottle makes one gallon. I can personally treat 2-4 houses off of one gallon of finished solution. This is also because I’m a professional and try not to waste pesticides. A lot of people claim to have about a half gallon left after treating their homes.
Please can you tell me where you purchased for 50. I'm in the UK and purchased on amazon for 75
how effective are bed bug smoke bombs ?
they dont work
Mrsa or staff is a very real potential issue with bed bugs.
You mean from scratching the bite?
After I have treated my mattress with Crossfire and it has dried, is it safe for me to sleep in the bed?
as long as its dry you can make the bed and sleep in it that night
Does crossfire this kill all crawling insects ?
No
Is this harmful to pets? Do we have to vacate and air out the house?
No need to air out the house just wait until surfaces are dry to re-enter that’s all
Thanks so much.
What about treating animals? I feel that I have wild bedbugs in my yard.
Bed bugs don’t live in the yard or on animals
So something on Fleas. Colorado has an epidemic on Fleas
I agree . Does crossfire have any affect on fleas. How about Temprid Fx
I’ve read that Alpine treats BBs and Fleas as well. Crossfire seems to be pretty toxic for all insect types though, I think our friendly house spiders can resist it but it’ll mess up anything else
go over smoke bombs for bed bugs ?
they dont work
@@GreenAkersPC hey thanks for the advice ! your videos have been very helpful as i have recently found out that i have a small bed bug infestation, (i have only seen 4 bed bugs over the course of around a week) thankfully they sell crossfire in the uk on amazon, anyway your videos are very helpful !
I know... i keep commenting, sorry. My family are NERDS we have game books, statues of anime characters, funko pop figures, vintage Transformers from the 80's, fragile cosplay costume parts, novels, collectable cards of various types, comics, manga, lego items, and all the normal adult human stuff... heat CAN and WILL damage things! Wall hangings, limited posters, pictures and paintings. The heat can be destructive.
😲
His mustache is messed up. Its all i see
My mustache has so many odd colors in it that half of it can’t even be seen on camera 😞
You do realize that it is the sunlight shining in on his face right?
YOU TALK TO MUCH
Think so?
@@GreenAkersPCNo keep talking and thank you
Your not the expert!
What kind of comment is that? Thanks for everything Jason you definitely do not talk too much.
