- Edward "Eddie" Fullerton (26 March 1935 - 25 May 1991) was a Sinn Féin councillor from Inishowen in County Donegal, Ireland. He was killed at his Buncrana home in May 1991 by members of the Ulster Defence Association a terrorist organisation that colluded with state actors on a regular basis.
A month later, a documentary on British television revealed that a police file from Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) intelligence containing Fullerton's photograph and details was found in the possession of the UDA in Derry. The weapon used to kill him was recovered two years later. The perpetrators were never found. The Fullerton family has long campaigned for an independent public inquiry into the events surrounding his death.

It is my belief that Eddie's killers were paid to shoot him by a Buncrana business man. All because Eddie was against gaming machines and he also turned down bribes on 2 occasions to end his anti gaming machine pursuit before he was assassinated. Torrens Knight was one of Eddie's killers also. I hope the Fullerton family kept the clues they found in the house as DNA samples.

@@ciaranbrown1983 it wasn't like them to cross the border out of the blue. And they got assistance locally also. Even by the corrupt gardai at the time. Eddie had notebooks removed that were never returned also and notebooks that he had written down who had tried to bribe him. More is also revealed on the TG4 documentary Fullerton.
