Funny thing about Floor is when you hear her for the first time it will not bee the last time !
I love watching Floor blossom on stage like in this performance. She was born to entertain and she has the most amazing expressions, dances, body movements and smiles to go with her incredibly beautiful vocals. She really is one of a kind and such a nice person too.
Floor is not just a singer, not just a performer ... Floor is the embodiment of music. She is part of the perfect band for her ... the musicality of Nightwish is amazing, laying a foundation of power and melody ... so she is the perfect fit for them. Marco will be sorely missed - what a great vocal match for her and so vital to the music. Is it October yet?

About Marko: It's hard to tell.
Just a few days before he left a close friend of him: Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom died to health issues.
Can't go into detail, but a very bitter Marko lashed against the record business who let their artists suffer during the pandemic, not giving any help to the artists which they made big money from.
I believe this is a sorrow reaction... And i guess he needs some time to find himself again.
I see some already has suggested some songs.. I would recommed checking out his solo-stuff. Like "Isäni ääni" (english: voice of my father).

Hey Anastasia! First, love the reaction -- because you're 100% right. Floor, in Ghost River, is really hot in this performance, and not just vocally! I, like a lot people, love her little dances and her headbanging. I dont know about you, but I get legit goosebumps, when I listen to Ghost River, when it slows down, and you hear Floor just singing so effortlessly and beautifully. Second, you know a band is having fun, when you see the drummer -- here, Jukka (pronounced yoo•ka) Nevalainen -- twirling his drumstick in the air.
Having said this, I think it is time for you to see the opening song for Wacken 2013: Dark Chest of Wonders! Open the Dark Chest, my dear, and watch how this magical concert all began...

You are not the first female reactor with a girls crush on Floor, lol.
I think she is playing some kind of supernatural seductress here, so it would make sense. Compare also from this set "Wish I Had An Angel" and "She Is My Sin", two songs about, well, sex, and watch her expressions: a bit more cheeky on Angel and a bit more sultry on Sin. And then take something like "Élan" or "My Walden", where there is just a little restrained neutral positive energy, or "Weak Fantasy", which is something like pure righteous aggression-so the solution to the conundrum is that Floor is great at getting into the song and giving a performance in accordance with her role. (And that she has fun doing that is of course not an obstacle.)

This one is a favorite because the crowd is LIT, and that is most certainly understating it...
Floor and Marko complement each other amazingly. Sad thing Marko left at least for the rest of the year. But Nightwish continues with a session bassist, not with a new permanent member. So I'm hoping Marko will return.
Nightwish always has fun on stage. There are no dull moments. Floor is fun to watch. She has studied musical theatre, so she can tell the story with her movements, gestures also, not only with her voice.
When she sings "Close your eyes and take a peek." that is exactly what she does. (Those eyes.)
And the rest of the band members too, fun to watch how they love what they are doing.
For me, Nightwish has turned out the be the most remarkable group that I have ever come across. That is a great number of years of experience. I found them about a year ago now. The usual phrase, "where were they all those years", applies to me. it is one of the "good" things that UA-cam has done for me. It was a recommended video of "Ghost Love Score", that started it all.
Did you realise that Floor was doing the two growls in this song. Great reaction again! Look forward to the next. Btw I think we are all in love with Floor!!
"the wolf comes out" Did you notice that Floor was the wolf in that phrase? I've run across two interpretations of the song: Floor as Mother Gaia calling her children while Marko is a demon. The other is more intriguing: Floor is an evil siren luring children to their deaths in the river while Marko is a troll who is warning them off.
It's considered to be a journey of life song.

@@frankmerris8821 Tuomas was the originator of the first interpretation, but I think Floor has reinterpreted it to reverse the roles of good and evil. This version matches her deep growl on "dream/scream" and her sultry, alluring behaviour that certainly is not motherly. I think the growl is a clue to her real purpose.
The lyrics are quite ambiguous. I got the image that Floor is indeed some kind of a siren luring the children while Marco represents a sort of narrator and the outside world you can see on the other side of the river. It could be interpreted that way as a purely fairy tale setting or a portrayal of coming of age.

I somehow always have interpreted this as Floor luring the children into the dangerous river (outer world), and Marko as the grumpy shaman-type warning only death will await there. Maybe because Floor is as enticing as possible but momentarily showing her true colors with that growl. Edit: oh, what Bill Attercliffe said 🤗

Since you mentioned you liked 'sexy moving Floor': you should eventually check out all her performances on Beste zangers (a dutch TV show she partecipated in last year), but for this, specifically her cover of 'Que se siente' (it is originally a salsa song, but she puts a rock spin on it); cheers :)

I always thought Floor was trying to get someone to cross the river by seducing him and get him to drown, while Marko was trying to warn him and scare him away 👻
Apart from her wolf (and dog) tattoo she has, if you want to see her become (almost literally) a wolf on stage, you have to see Nightwish perform the song: 7 Days To The Wolves (live at Wembley Arena). I am quite certain you will love that song also.
Yes, she is hot... well in every song really lol I think this is song maybe requires less of vocal concentration so she's more relaxed and enjoying the music more, so we could see her dance and groove. I assume this song really not that hard for her to sing compare to other ones :) I could be wrong, just guessing :)

"Imposing" - grand and impressive in appearance. Maybe this is the word you were looking for to describe Floor.
The "headbanging" of Floor are windmills and she does them better then anyone I've ever seen.
Headswinging (left to right), if done right, can help to ease your neckmuskles and that can help your vocal cords. I think thats what your former teacher was referring to. Even some weightlifters do it to help them loose tension before lifting.
But windmilling like floor does on the other hand is something totally different. If done wrong you can easily pull a muscle or pinch a nerve in your neck. So I dont realy know how she can do those kind of fast and hard windmills for 10-20 seconds and sing right after that. I havent seen that before. I mean I've seen other people windmill, but not singers with such a difficult technique doing them so hard and long. Look at her body, I mean only her head and neck is moving. There is no support from the upper body at all. It kinda looks surreal to me that her neck doesnt just break.
There is a mith that floors windmills can power all of the netherlands with energy... and I think this myth is totally true.
