    I currently do 3 day splits so this app works perfectly. I don't intend to go in the gym more than 4 days a week, so the max limit for free users is not an issue.

    Will definitely check this out. Thank You. Your channel has been a big help for me with strength training in terms of building a training program.

    I have been using this app for a month almost and have been enjoying it. The person who built this made a great way to promote fitness in general. I wish we could add supersets on it though and wish they had recommendations on when to go up on things when on a progressive overload. However, for those not new to fitness like myself it is a really good app to help keep track, rather than writing everything down. I wonder if they have a feature where we can put our own measurements or something? I didn't explore too deeply into the app yet. If not any recommendations?

      They do have a measurements section in the "Profile" area. Try that out to help track it over time.

      The Workout Log application effectively serves its purpose by providing a comprehensive workout log and helpful workout routines.

    heyy! if you wanted do progressive overload does the app suggest weight increase with each workout, or do you have to manually enter it'?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому +2

      You manually enter it. I haven't seen anything for recommended weight, but that would be an awesome update.

      @@GamerBody thanks for getting back to me! and yeah, that would be really cool if they add that feature.

    It took me a while but I finally got the Hevy app set up. Thanks for showing me how. Bands only for me. but I do have a question about workouts. Should I do workouts together, ie, Chest fly and chest press, or separate them to give the muscle a rest?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому +1

      This will depend on your split, but personally, I do full body for each of my workouts (right now 3 a week) and I alternate between exercises. Know that if you hit a body part hard enough with one exercise, you don't need another as you are just creating inroad which affects your ability to recover (leading to longer rest days between workouts).

    when you input your weight, do you add the entire weight or only the one side ? i.e did bench press and had two plates on each side 45lb, do you write 90 or 180 ? also there is another feature that I don know how to use, where the app can tell you what your next weight should look like, have you used it ?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому +1

      Whatever one side is (should be the same on both sides). For example, if I am using a 30lbs weight in my right and left hands separately, I will track it as 30lbs.
      If attached by a bar, I still put the weight of just the one side. It just makes it easier to track that way.
      However, if I did something like goblet squat with 1 dumbbell (holding that 1 dumbbell with both hands), I cut the weight in half. I do this for when I move to 2 dumbbells in separate hands which happens once I run out of a heavy enough single dumbbells. I hope that makes sense.

    Great video! I'm interested in tracking cardio. I downloaded the app recently on my iPhone and use it on my Apple Watch. I do have the yearly premium subscription, but can't figure out how to track my miles and timing when running (both outdoors via gps) and/or even indoors on a treadmill. Please help. Hope this is available or else this app is useless for my complete workout needs.

      I don't see a way to have it track the distance. You might have to track that separately and put it in the app. For example, I use the Fitbit to track the distance with its GPS (it also tracks time).

    Some of the band workouts arent listed in the app like yours. For example, overhead press (bands). Do you get more if you buy the pro version?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому

      Strange. They should all be public. Did you already fill all 4 free slots? I wonder if they only show a certain amount (maybe from top to bottom?). Ill have to test some things out. There should be 10 different folders with 1-3 workouts in each.

    • @clvivier
      @clvivier Рік тому

      @GamerBody just bought the pro version and still no overhead shoulder press with bands. I just used overhead shoulder press with Dumb bells, which I guess is fine since I'm attributing a weight to the bands anyways.
      Just want to say you have great content. 👍 keep up the good work.

    great video! do you know how superset works?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому

      Yes. I personally don't do them because the resistance I would use for the exercise in the superset doesn't match and I don't care to change it quickly. I'd rather just do straight sets, but that's just me. Adjustable dumbbells can be nice for supersets though.

    My strength training is primarily a form of conjugate, with the paid version is it possible to add as many custom exercises as you want? Eg 3 second paused Anderson squats with an SSB bar, Swiss bar floor press etc and other very specific exercises. Thanks

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Рік тому

      You should be able to add as many as you like (custom exercises). I would contact their support to confirm if you can do everything you require as I use the free version.

    • @GamerBody

      I personally don't do drop sets. I would track them though if you can find out how to properly use it in the app. I just do straight sets right now and it works as expected.
