"They call me, Yellow Skinned Wacky Man! But I prefer, The Creeper."
"Call Arkham. Quick."
That plot twist was something I didn’t expect at ALL
Like, it felt like a no-brainer that it would’ve been the Joker, but NOPE, WE GOT THROWN A CURVEBALL
I love how Harley embarassed the joker during the recording
it's cool to see the creeper again, he is rarely used in anything.
Gotta do my boy justice
That's so true the creeper is rarely used in anything the only time he was used is in Batman brave and the bold and Batman the animated series.
this is one of the best pieces of Batman media I've ever watched. Not even exaggerating. Animation, fight scenes, voice acting, camera work, story and twists were all on point. This felt like an official Batman product. The themes of their past interconnecting with the vat of chemicals and with his classic 30s costume was magnificent. Bravo
🗿
I think this is based on the original red hood comics
@@lukejones0826 it is but The Creeper was certainly not involved in that story
@@ItsOver9000Productions yeah it’s more inspired by it in a way
This was impressive. Using creeper that is character not many people know was very unique, the fight scenes were incredible, the plot twist was very unique, but the only thing that bugs me is the characterization of joker because joker would never want to discover who Batman is,he loves Batman and believes that the person that the mask is Batman real face, but overall a great project and I hope for more
I'm glad you enjoyed it! And I totally understand your criticism of Joker's character. It's definitely a different interoperation of the character, but I like the idea that this Joker is so chaotic that he doesn't even truly know what he wants.
Harley's "Hey Batman!" seemed so friendly.
Yea 🤗
Creepers mannerisms are probably my favorite part of this film 🔥
Nathaniel really did him justice
What an impressive job this was! From the camera work to the choreography to the dedication of the glass breaking and the creative shot of Alfred’s pov of Bane! This is definitely something to be proud of and I hope to see more of your style😎👍
"You all are most likely to be bat's beard handsome boys with MONEY!!!!" My favorite line
I honestly really like that twist I’m surprised more people haven’t come up with it
I'm glad you appreciated that!
I don't get it
@@keithharrissuwignjo2460 Jack Nappier is usually who the joker is
@@o.8.p149and that wasn't?
I love how DCAU this feels, down to the slightly comedic writing, it’s like if BTAS was animated in Lego. Good job!
This was amazing! Gotta be one of the best Batman brickfilms I’ve seen yet, definitely one I’ll keep coming back too for inspiration
What an honor! I've always loved your work!
@@nathanielhenley thx man means a lot, I’m definitely excited to see what you do next :) maybe collab one day 👍
@@linkinpop13 For sure!
Can I get in on that
I remember when I was about 8 I watched 'Our Lego Batman Adventure' and thinking nothing could top it. This just might.
I never seen the creeper sense that one episode in the animated Batman series
the twist with Creeper's origin story is GOLD.
The creeper is one cool dude lol
bro the spin on the batman story is done so well, and the end in which joker is actually just wearing make up was very unexpected
This is amazing you should do a Hush story line and have Two-Face, Hush, and Bruce all be childhood friends or something that would be pretty cool
Releasing on Batman day…. Nice
Creeper was just perfect in this.
The creeper was just chefs kiss right there ❤
“ let me go let me go let me go let me go let m-waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 😮”. 💀
The Batmobile looks so cool in this, along with the Batcave!
I like the LEGO creeper minifigure it is cool and creative
Dude. This is singlehandedly some of the best set designing, lightning and camera work I've seen in a brickfilm so far! Fantastic job with character movements, you nailed the Batmobile car chase scene and the chaos around it. The one shot during the warehouse fight blew me away! Loved the Bane punch shot btw. The twist with Creeper at the end was awesome, I'm so down to see twists on iconic characters done originally in your universe. Looking very forward to future episodes!
I don't know why but something about this video gives off Batman the animated series vibes I think it's because of the Creeper but still I give tremendous props for that.
THE BADASS CREEPER SCENE LOL
The out-of-socket animation on creeper is done so tastefully. Sometimes it bothers me when the ""stud"" of the arm is visible and i've noticed that forrestfire is trying to hide it recently, rotating the arm so that the 'good' side faces the camera always.
This is a perfect middle ground, and it's just so full of energy the way you ani.ated him
I don’t know why I held back on watching this for so long… I’ve seen this in my recommended for so long and I finally decided to watch it and it’s amazing
Ok dude this is amazing. You are seriously going places with this series, it’s so unique keep it up
Man this guy here is awesome, he makes the mouth move while talking, and the eyes, he deserves everything he ever had and everything he will get, Nathaniel, awesome job buddy, this must've been so hard trying to animate everything at the right time and everything, and i think you've done amazing, dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
One of the best Batman Stop Motions ever made
8:37 that has got to be the hardest Lego Batman scene I have ever scene
Extremely impressive work. It's hard to stand out with a Batman brickfilm among the *thousands* that exist on UA-cam but you have managed to do that and them some. You have a very unique and pleasing stye to watch, please make more!
dude that was seriously one of the best brickfilms i’ve seen, the camera work, lighting, action and characters were amazing. felt so alive, cant wait to see more!
This is going to be amazing
This is the best stop motion Batman film I’ve ever seen
This was so cool, it's giving me AubreyStudios Lego Batman vibes, but without the nonstop comedy. This deserves more recognition.
This is the greatest Batman Lego animation I have ever seen. I have been searching for others in a similar style but this is the best. Can’t wait for the third episode!
Seeing the Question at the end was great.
This is one of the best LEGO animations I've ever seen lol
dude the intro also made this video amazing along with just the stop motion like what the actual fuck, this shit is fucking dope
14:22 the use of a real penny is amazing 🤩
Dude, the I am vengeance I am the night I am Batman that line was delivered so perfectly it was amazing. The Stop Motion deserves so much and more. I can’t believe that this is actually real congrats man you made something great.
Awesome job dude! It's really great to see an animator pay close attention to the difference between a camera push and a camera zoom because both has a really large effect in this film. I also really appreciate the set up and pay off in this. For example when Gordon and Batman establish that Batman's blood is in the police database and for it to pay off later when Bane finds out about it and visits him at the manor. Aside from that, the animation, set design, the performances, etc., are all spot on and everyone gave it their all. Can't wait for more!
Where do I even begin! This was MARVELOUS! You have such a mastery over stop motion; you brought life to these little plastic figures in a way I have never seen before! I love you unsnap and pose the arms and legs; it could so easily come off as uncanny but you always put them in the perfect positions, so the motions always carry and make the range of expression WAY wider! Kneeling, crossing arms, folding arms behind the back... All of these add SO much to the film, and tell us a lot about the characters. This whole thing was so visually creative; so many elaborate and beautiful shots. The fight scenes were stellar; the camera bobs and weaves between crates, spinning around and following the characters seamlessly! Some great ideas in there; I loved Harley knocking the crates out one by one, and Clock King winning the jackpot lol!
Some of these techniques are insanely innovative. I love how you do smoke, so convincing and stylized! The animated comic-style intro set the tone for this whole thing, it was the coolest! The way you did tracking vehicle shots and wider city shots, with a wonderful mixture of silhouette buildings and 3d constructions, really worked! I love how you sprinkled in blinking every few seconds, and also animated the characters mouths without ever actually changing the expression. Every face change was real, you must have gone through every Joker face there is! You clearly had a field day with Creeper; EVERY yellow face was available to you lol! And overall, the way objects move in this... They just have such weight and momentum. When crates fall and smash, when bottles or batarangs are thrown, even when Jim Gordon is just walking down the hall; it is SO convincing. Honestly, this is the best lego stop motion I've seen.
Hope you'll indulge me for one more paragraph; the STORY. My god, Batman and Creeper have excellent chemistry. Creeper's a joy to watch, and Batman's the perfect straightman. I love Creeper's zany style of comedy, and his voice is utterly perfect. Joker was so fun too; I like how his voice wasn't just a Mark Hamill clone, great as that version is. So much personality! The plan was actually really clever and refreshing; kidnapping every billionaire to figure out Batman's identity is something I've never seen done before! I love that "dump the rich" tint to the whole situation; this feels like a classic Batman story, but it has that modern edge too. But I did NOT see that twist coming... I've never, ever seen someone mess that hard with Joker's "origin". Creeper BEING the one who fell in the vat... That's the ONE thing we know for sure about Joker's origin, and even that's a lie! Amazing! But it's also so beautiful, because that's Batman's greatest failure, and in this story, he realizes that even on his worst day... He still just created another hero. Joker's evil for reasons totally outside of him. Batman's influence is unambiguously good. Love it love it love it. When Creeper uses the name "Melvin" and Joker freaks... Maaaaan, that gave me chills. He KNOWS who he is, on some crazy level, for some crazy reason. I could go on and on, but in conclusion, this was an absolute thrill to watch! Thank you so much for sharing it, as a long time Batman and Joker fan who's seen literally every iteration of them, this SURPRISED me, and had me grinning like a ten year old kid again. Amazing work!!
Probably framing this comment
@@nathanielhenley Hahaha, so glad you found this encouraging man!
Dude this is one of the best things I've ever watched better than actually movies made by companies
nathaniel, I beg you. if you ever cover riddler, please let me voice him. it would be an honor
wow. this has genuinely changed me as a person. I will forever show this to people and if they don't understand the mastery of it, then I will not be there friend. If there are no nathaniel cinematic universe fans then I am dead. thank you. /srs
This is the best stop motion I’ve ever seen
The best Lego Batman stop motion ever
ok the fisrt time i watched this and heard the creepers voice i thought it was the adam west batman he sounds just like him
I love the portrayal of the jokers origin at the beginning.oh it’s creepers’s.
I can’t believe how good this was. It’s like a real Batman episode. I love it!
one of the best brickfilms ever made by far!! As a fellow brickfilmer this was just incredible to see someone put this much effort into a video. If you have any slots open I would love to help out with the next video. Animating, masking, voice acting, you name it! It would be so fun to help you haha. Amazing work
Noted, thank you!
Ima need a tutorial on that Batmobile bro looks nice😅
Arm movement is cracked
Always happy to see the Creeper! 😂
Amazing work!
Let me know if you need more voice actors
Oh my GOSH! Some of the action scenes and cinematic camera shots you achieved are beyond amazing! Definitely the highlight of the episode. My heart was racing during the truck chase and the final showdown as well.
Dude, how am I just seeing this!? This looks so cool!!! I like how you SOMEHOW made their mouths move and their eyes blink!! AMAZING WORK!!!
I just saw the intro and I already need to comment because this is top tier of what you can do with Lego animation like seriously I feel like I’m watching the comic book becoming real in a beautiful way. The figures are great and the way they move really showcase the fear of Red hood and his allies, the presence of Batman and the voices are really great. The set is large and its pretty details are made even better with the lightning and I love how the characters interact with the set and elements like the moving acid in the clear container… there’s so much to say it’s perfect
I was gonna say best Lego batman stop motion ever but screw that,BEST BATMAN MEDIA EVER🙌🏾
I think this is the best Lego stop motion movie I’ve seen to date. The pacing was perfect, the plot points flowed very well together and the action was on another level. Looking forward to whatever you put out next!
Wait. If The Joker wasn't even at ACE Chemicals that night and he didn't even fall into that vat, who is he? And where did he even come from? Is this information going to be revealed in a future story? I really hope so, cause the twist still has me confused as all heck. But the video itself was incredible, though! Can't wait to see more!
Also when Bats said Creeper was the only person Joker was scared of, was that a TNBA reference? If so, well played...
Also, NGL, even though I *knew* it was coming, it kinda made me jump when Bane burst through Brucie's wall like the Kool-Aid Man....
The part were joker tries to discover Batman’s secret identity doesn’t make sense.
Joker would never want to know Batman’s identity because it would ruin the fun between them.
I love the transition elements, really felt like the 2004 Series (favorite batman animated product of mine). This seriously took the best of everything, theatric elements from animated series was very present too!!!!
Really glad to know Lego stop motion isn’t dead
Amazing writing and sound design. It feels like I’m watching a TNBA episode but in Lego.
Ayyyy, Polka dot man's in the intro. Nice
Hell yeah
Hell yeah
Wow Harley Quinn was amazing, she should famous or something
I don’t have many words for it but this is excellent
I hope you keep animating! This was great!
I can’t wait for The Question and Two-Face (or Penny Plunderer) next episode!
Very impressive piece of work
Epic! I can't believe its finially here!
1:15, those whispers really scared me with headphones on.
This is unbelievable dude. Can't imagine how much heart and soul went into this.
This was really good. I've had this video in my save for later for ages. I'm glad I've finally watched it. Everything the animation, the voices the camera work even the intro was incredible
This definitely deserves more views!
28:50 joker laugh
I just saw this and I gotta say wow! That has to be probably the best Batman brickfilm I've ever seen.
3:55 that’s such a good fucking line
Super stoked to see where this goes nice job
okay, without a doubt this is the best stop-motion i've ever seen ong.
This was incredible man. My brother sent me this didn’t come around to watching it until I was with some friends who put it on, this was seriously really well made. Just subbed
this is what i imagine my stop motion would look like
Holy Crap, this video was amazing, every second of it felt like pure cinema, every single shot is awesome. Those fight scenes are all phenomenal. The credits scene was also very well done. Literally a masterpiece
I love the intro & it's remains me of jojo's bizarre adventure.
2:09.
this is actually amazing oh my gaw, literally my ONLY gripe is that the batman ears look funky because of how long they are
Absolutely astonishing! I’ve never seen such a good stopmotion before! And still I enjoyed your latest work twice as much!
Holy dude your cinematography and camera work is amazing. The narrative was great as well. Loved how you incorporated the Joker's origin but with your own little twist. Can't wait to see Batman and the Question go up against Harvey
(Now if you will indulge me for a second, I feel like a great inclusion to this series would be seeing Batman go through a death maze of different puzzles created by the Riddler. If you plan on following this troupe of Batman teaming up with different heroes I'd love to see my favorite DC character utilized, Mister Miracle. The dynamic between the two would definitely be an interesting one to explore)
Looks like someone has been reading my mind- I have ideas for that EXACT premise
You don’t understand how excited I am for this
I finished the video and … this was amazing. The one take warehouse right scene in particular and the ending reveal???
I can’t wait to see more of your films
HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!
You are to clean with it. Thanks for making one of the best stop-motion videos I have seen on the batman series.
Absolute cinema
this deserves more attention
Absolutely phenomenal, from the pacing, cinematography, direction, fight scenes and even dialog, this is all very high quality and expertly made, really good work here.
I'm so glad I found this cause this is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED! Wow, great stuff! I especially like the touch of the animated/drawn intro! There's lots of great subtle details I liked like the white mouth animation over open mouthed printings for teeth instead of black, which was clever, as well as less subtle details like the expressive facial changes for Joker & Creeper & Batman. Not to mention the story's plot twist! Plus that after credits scene though! Hyped for more!
The intro was incredible! The atmosphere and animation is great as well!
