I execptionally hate hate HATE anything that came after late 80-early 90s peak of music... But this lady has a distinctive voice in a million.. she's like Tina Turner.. you may not know the song, though you hear one note on the radio, you know immediately it's Anastacia.. such a fiery voice.. Too bad nobody wrote her better songs that would be iconic and stand the test of time like they did for Tina and Whitney... But it doesn't take away the fact Anastacia slays it on vocals and charisma against anybody for the last 20+ years at least..

Agree! I remember in 2004-2005 in Hungary, it was probably one of the most streamed song, i heard this song everywhere.
I’m not a huge fan of hers, but she is a good example of how singers can, and should, use the full extent of their range and vocal modulations. She went from a higher pitched soft and melodic tone to a lower pitch with more of a gruff feel. This was a great choice to convey the message and emotion of the song. I appreciate this as we have all heard artists where their songs all sound the same.

I remember seeing this on TV for the first time a good long time ago now and thought she was sooooo cool! Especially the tinted rectangular sunglasses were huge back then. I randomly think about this video a lot. It's one of my dad's favourite songs and we used to dance to it in the kitchen when I was a child
my mother's favourite artist ever was Anastacia, and when she too was diagnosed with and beat breast cancer she was also one of my mother's greatest inspiration to keep fighting. Sadly, after 7 years she couldn't keep going. I'm so glad she got to see Anastacia live before peacefully dying in her sleep. We even played "I Belong To You" at her funeral, which was her favourite song. Miss you every day mom

I had been searching this song since 2010 when I got my first MP4. I am Spanish and I always heard to this in the radio but I never knew the name. One day in 2010 I decided to record it in my MP4. With that, I didn't know the name, but at least I could listen it. 8 years later, and after loosing many hours looking for top songs in UA-cam and after learning English, I went back to my old MP4, I charged it and I listened to the record again. Then I understood all the lyrics and I searched them. And finally, 8 years later, here I am.
