This mans goes to Egypt to ride an SLC model that just opened in Iowa. Dedication to the game. Also, the people working at that park seem like some of the most friendly and fun I've seen anywhere.
This is the Coaster Idiots video not many people might’ve expected but needed anyway. I def LOLed at the bumper car sequence with the RCT crash sounds!
I’m Egyptian and I’ve actually been to this park when I was a little kid! It was awesome, I think they had an S&S Space Shot among other fun flat rides. So fun. Good memories :) Great video man, glad you guys had fun in Masr :) And yes I do remember the SLC as being quite smooth actually. But that’s an old memory haha
Thanks for giving us a birds eye view of Egypt 🇪🇬! I find it refreshing you’re learning the Egyptian culture of your wife’s family. I hope y’all enjoyed the Pyramids! That has always been something on my travel bucket list!
To think that one day thousands of years later there'd be a coaster in eyesight of the Pyramids an amusement park is kind of funny. Wonder what an ancient Egyptian would think. Cool video. As always.
@@DoswarePictures Well I mean, you responded with "one weak link can break the chain of the mighty lift hill" so I responded with "the anti roll back will save you" you know..... weak link in the chain, breaking, roll backs grab.... the train from rolling back down the lift.

I liked the part near the end where Bubba just told Ryan to please shut up. Ha ha, all those "Peace be unto you's" and "Perfects" and "Let's go" finally got to him.
I have a co-worker at Lost Island Themepark that is from Egypt. He was telling me all about this park, said he's been there many times and it's tons of fun.
It’s funny. I almost forget what real brake runs sound like because every brake run in your videos sounds like Mean Streak (I think that one)! Glad you had a safe and fun visit to Dream Park!
What an awesome video. Egypt didn't come to my mind when thinking about amusement parks and its cool to see parks from other cultures and countries. It would be fun to some Vlogs from some of your other travels in Egypt.
I was in Egypt last year and he's definitely right about Egyptian drivers. I basically just had to step into the street to cross it and all the drivers slowed down to let people get accross.
I have been to Egypt a few times and one of the things i learned that concerned me was that the concept of maintenance is foreign to most Egyptians, they wait for things to break before actually fixing anything or attempting to maintain anything. So i had made the conscious choice to not go to Dream park when I was out there.
We had that happen to us during the wild frontier nights first weekend. There was no one there basically. Rode Maverick 5 times in a row without getting out of our seats. Then went to vengeance, and rode 4 times, before someone was in our row when we got back into the station. Went back around, and rode another 3 times (which made for 11 times that day). I honestly don't recommend riding SV that many times in one day. My legs were killing me the next day, and when we went to ride vengeance, I was reminded why I usually have a 4 times a day limit on that ride! I usually have them leave me as loose as possible in the restraints, to get all that air time, so your thighs kind of take a beating.
@@Spike-sk7ql I got a double ride on Magnum. Last ride of the night with a half train full of employees getting off work walking out the Magnum gate. They stopped by to say hi to buddies working there and they let us go around again anyone on the train cause the line had already closed. Was dope, so dark out there by the turnaround. I always scoot forward when restraints are being locked and thrust up so I can slide back and get a few inches of airtime on a loose restraint. I've actually tightened my restraint on Mako before because I had too much room haha.
@@jonny-b4954 I LOVE the turn around on Magnum on a night ride! It's even better when there are still boats hanging around and they have lights on the boats. I love how dark it gets out there though.
@@Spike-sk7ql Oh it's great. And the laterals you get from that un-heartlined track banking; glorious! Wish I could have rode it in it's first few years when trims didn't do much, supposedly.

I’m from the USA, but I lived in Egypt for a year and have gone back several times. I’ve been to this park twice. Last time I went was in 2022. I can definitely tell you that same roller coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is ROUGH and I was surprised the one there wasn’t.
Hey, so I’ve heard from several vloggers on UA-cam that Egypt is a terrible place to travel to in recent years, mostly because of their government and bureaucracy. I’d love to go but that’s made me think twice. Did you have any issues?
I think it might help if you have family there. 100% guess but they’re married so could be easier for him than someone else. It probably also helps to be able to blend in and not stick out as a target for scams or other bad stuff (because he’s actually Egyptian)
I actually live in Egypt and I came here several times and I saw you! During that time it was so cool i never knew i would see my favourite UA-camr! And yellah means come on
The birds are budgies, and the male and female colors are pretty much completely the same! It's actually a bit of a problem if you're getting one and you want to get a specific gender. They do change the color of their nose though, when they're older.
I rode mind eraser at sfa expecting it to be the worst thing ever, but it actually wasn't really bad. I was very disappointed. However, Firebird and Roar definitely delivered on that front lmao
That third coaster looks like it has the same layout as a coaster at Cedar Point. It's basically the same layout as Vekoma's old junior hang and bangs.
Not a fan of Theme park videos, but this is one of the most beautiful videos I have seen. Pops was overjoyed to be there. And Egypt looks amazing. Thank you
Actually, there are still a few locations in the US that allow for omnidirectional bumping: at my park Canobie Lake, we have both a kiddie version and the adult one, both with no median, and I am pretty sure I remember the adult one doesn't have the seatbelt/crossbody belt on any of the cars...
This was phenomenal, we need Ryan and fam exploring the *whole world.* No stone unturned, no family credit unacquired.
I bet Kaeson Youth Park is next.

Albeit taken from Africa.
Just rode that SLC in Iowa last week.. got a headache after the second ride lol
We got the same one in Germany, I don't like it much, it's too rough. Interesting that they still open new coasters of that model, it's decades old!
I think the reason why the SLC is not that rough is the dry desert air reduces the amount of rust that forms.
