Madeline Miller keeps me coming back from my first intro with her in The Song Of Achilles… ive read and listened to both Achilles and Circe multiple times over the past year. It’s so refreshing how grounded and real these characters are despite being so far in the past. I’m thankful for her perspective being so knowledgeable of Greek mythology, but also, her ease on making these stories so palpable in this day and age. Couldn’t be more connected to an author as i am with her.

i finished the song of achilles yesterday and i cannot wait to start circe!
i have to say i cried my eyes out at end of the story hahaha
