Taraji P. Henson Exposes Unfair Pay of Black Actors/Vivica A. Fox Disagrees/ Is She Clout-chasing?

On the heels of the success of The Color Purple, in the midst of the press tour, Taraji P. Henson, has an emotional break down and exposes that she has been discriminated against and that black actresses don't received fair pay for her work. In fact, Taraji stated this is the norm and that she has endured this for decades. In this video, I address Vivica A. Fox's (Ms. Nice-nasty) responds to Taraji P. Henson's public breakdown over being an underpaid black actresses in Hollywood (and in the industry). Vivica's response was snide, was a slap in the face of Taraji and all black actresses; it directly contradicts and undermines Taraji's statements about being underpaid for decades as an actress. It's sad that, this is indicative of a larger issue. Typically, black women take advantage of opportunites to publicly stand divided which hurts our collective progress. This, very important issue, needs to be exposed, yet Vivica's passive aggressive stance suggests otherwise. It suggests that there is no validity to Taraji's experience and the experience of countless black actresses. I find it very interesting that black women such as Cicely Tyson, Viola Davis, Halle Berry, Angela Bassett and countless more, have shown us this reality while Vivica claims she has managed to singlehandedly dodge industry-established disrespect for black actresses.
