I have both mounts, but unfortunately, the quadlock forkstem kept coming loose over time on my '21 Ninja 650 d/t the bike's flawed forkstem which widens in the tube, thus the quadfork would not expand properly. Ended up getting the rokform brake/clutch mount - mounted on the brake side and didn't realize my right turn did not fully clear and the aluminum ended up scratching the gas tank a little bit. So I flipped the mount upside down and it gave clearance because the pivot point is now on top rather than the bottom. Might end up going back to quadlock with the ball adapter & the RAM brake/clutch mount due to quadlock's vibration dampener but we will see. As of right now, no complaints w/ rokform. Definitely a solid choice.
Agreed. I had a Rockform on my iPhone 6 and it actually had aluminum half back. It was great case but to your point the accessories are so ridiculously overpriced it turns me off the brand. I just bought this case as I already had some accessories and I was surprised to find they hadn’t altered the twist lock sizing so they are a perfect fit, so you should treat this as a phone case system and the accessories can work in future models as long as they don’t screw that up. Great case no doubt BUT the currently priced accessories have to be marked up at least 10x above cost
I’m sure they would make more money if they dropped the prices . I did have their wireless charger stop working and after emailing them they sent me a new one without any hassle. After that customer service experience I don’t feel AS bad paying what I did.
Just switched over to the 12 pro max with a Dbrand Grip case and Quadlocks universal adapter. All 3 ram ball mounts I have are having issues with the new adapter so I'm thinking Quadlock has loosened tolerances some. Just ordered the rokform case and ram ball adapter and looking forward to trying it.
What I hate about it is I have a night stand charger that charges my phone, watch and EarPods but it won’t charge with the case on even with the twist magnet out. Then you have to take the phone out of the case witch is a nightmare just to change out the mag locks
You can but you would have to remove the magnetic plug in the middle. If you're into the magsafe the cases for the 13 have the magsafe magnets built into the cases and will work on the 12 model with the camera cut out just being a little big.
I wasn’t too concerned with the overpriced add one which I had no intention of buying. I bought the metal octagonal stand attachment which was $40 US. I’m struggling to get it working well with the wireless charger, but I’m thinking the charger is no good as it won’t charge consistently even if I remove the case.
Any wireless charger that I’ve owned will stop working when it gets to a certain temperature so be sure to have it in a well ventilated area. As for this wireless charger I did have to literally screw it into one of my mounts as the $15 stick on mount did not keep it on (ie the wireless charger would detach from the mount and stay on the phone when trying to take the phone off.) I will say one of their wireless charges stopped working completely and after emailing them they sent me a new one without any hassle. Probably one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
@@sightsontech6183 rokform just released their wireless charging magnetic windshield car mount ( that’s a mouthful lol) $60. I’d love to know how well it works. Thinking of taking the plunge
i have sent back to Amazon this mount system , in 2022 because not compatible with my Huawei nor Xiaomi smartphone. as soon as I put the phone in the holder, the screen turned off and I could not enter the menu, not even google maps, black screen . useless
@@davidmoore4085 Yes I love that it has a MagSafe ring now however I’ve been in search of a case that allows you to put the phone on MagSafe charger without having to take the ring on and off every time which I think would be a hassle… in other words I’m looking for a company like this just to design a ring that is integrated into the case (low profile) where you don’t have to take it off to be able to put it on the MagSafe charger
A bit of advice. Please don't spend about 1/3 of your time on producing your video price. We can look that up and decide for ourselves. Focus on features and benefits and user experience.

Be careful where you mount these in your vehicle. I did run into trouble with the magnetic portion turning airbag components on and off.

I wish they would have added more grip to the case. The back is slippery considering it looks like it would have some grip. Overall it’s an ok case.

I spent £30 on a rokform case and my stylus on my note 20 ultra doesn't work with case on

Do you know if you can wirelessly charge with a MagSafe charger with the rockorm ring holder on?
You cannot MagSafe charge/ or MagSafe anything at all with the Rokform case on.
You can with iPhone 13 they added support
