- In this All Access we sit down with Oscar-nominated composer Marco Beltrami as he walks us through his career and shares tons of great stories. Hear how he found the path to becoming a composer as we discuss some of his most beloved scores to films like Scream, 310 To Yuma, Blade II, Hellboy, The Homesman, Logan and many more. We also discuss his recent work to the Netflix original films Little Evil and First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers. Marco talks about working with high-profile directors like Alex Proyas, Guillermo del Toro, James Mangold, Wes Craven, Tommy Lee Jones and Angelina Jolie. Hear how he and Buck Sanders met and formed a working relationship that has spanned most of his career. We talk about some hilarious stories such as the time he co-composed Resident Evil with Marilyn Manson and Marco's neighbor came running down the driveway to flash Marilyn, or the time Marco went on a rant about temp music used in Scream 2 that got him in hot water. Marco shares his process and thoughts on a variety of topics in this in-depth chat with one of the busiest and most prolific composers working today.

Marco's Scream score is my favorite of his! Glad he talked about it.
Beltrami is very underrated. I think he would've succeeded more if he was making more ambient-oriented scores. His work on The Hurt Locker is truly unique. This years' Logan was also top notch.
Love his works on the Scream movies, The Faculty, Hellboy, Terminator 3, 3:10 to Yuma, Resident Evil, Mesrine and Red Eye. Among others. He's a great composer. Too underrated.
Can't wait to learn more about the "in progress" project he's been chipping away at. Somewhat "concert piece" related... Will undoubtedly rule! Thanks so much for this interview! PIANELLA POWER!!!!
He scored Fear Street series too and lot of the background score is a homage to Scream films. Loved it!!!

@ 1:40:00 (ish..) Marco Beltrami didn’t write Dewey’s theme, it’s reused from Hans Zimmers ‘Broken Arrow’ score.

Marco beltrami, at this time, you’re gonna have to do is redoing a score of I,robot. A cue for Spooner Vs Bot without any crazy loud drums and sticks for doing this. It’s because that I can barely hear any piano. I tried to find a released song, but I can’t find it anywhere on these websites. Can you help us redo the score? I wanna hear it without any drums and sticks for the first time.
