Stonehenge comes in 90 lb. and 120 lb. depending on what you intend to use it for. It is normal for paper to buckle when wet, usually it flattens out in the drying process. That's the reason why I air dry the print before proceeding to the next layer.
Hi, dear! I’m still marveled, that a permanent marker..which dries, actually transfers! Hmmm..perhaps due to the substrate of a Gelli plate versus the material contents of the pens?🌸
It must be the oily component of the gel plate that allows it to transfer ink to paper. I've seen many demos on You Tube featuring photo/magazine transfers as well.
@@artwhisperer88 It must be..I agree. And yes..I’ve witnessed, many videos & demonstrations on image transfers. I always took it to mean, the inks involved in a laser print, adhere to basically all sorts of substrates! I’ve played with laser printers, quite a bit! I used to study graphic design @ The Art Academy in S.F., so we had to come up with all types of tricks, to create..”mock ups”, for our assigned projects! I feel image transfers, are quite exciting! I adore, dear one..your work! I feel emotionally, very similarly while viewing, “Mondrian”. (How’s that for a compliment)! Thank you for your kindness & graciousness, dear one!🌸
Acrylic is self sealing material, there is no need for an extra layer of sealant. It is a matter of taste. The ideal home for works on paper is within a frame with glass. Please check out my video of my art installation ua-cam.com/video/gGeV2D3tOG8/v-deo.html
I would never think of adding blue to the yellow but it always looks good!
Who knew collage didn't have to be the last step? I will have to experiment with this. Very inspiring.
The texture of the copper…oh my goodness!👩🎤
This was fascinating. I've never thought of, or seen, collage done early in the process. Brilliant. Thanks.
Very beautiful !
very interesting shift! i would never have thought if starting with collage - will definitely have to try this technique...thank you for the share.
Constructivism! I as well, respond as if it be “lyrical”!🌿

Thanks so much Don!
What weight is the Stonehenge paper? I got some 140 lb. paper, and it's fine except that it buckles more when wet.

Hi, how do you finish your work? Do you put any product over the top or put in a frame under glass. Enjoy your videos!!
