what a really cool reproduction of a frontier fort,, thanks for sharing your adventures. Perhaps I'll get a chance to see this in person some day. *LIKED* and *SUBSCRIBED*
I think Fort Harrod is a fun visit. I enjoyed my time there and the people were kind and friendly. It is good you can visit a location of your family history.
Nice video Wyoming Traveler, I'll be going to Fort Harrod 2 weekends from now. I'm looking forward to seeing Fort Harrod and Fort Boonesborough. Shame on the person who allowed their dog to roam around off leash. When in public places like this dogs should be on a leash, no excuses. My wife and I lived in Sheridan, WY for just over 20 years, great state. We now live in Barren County, KY. We visited a lot of places in Wyoming including Fort Bridger, Fort Laramie , The Green River Rendezvous in Pinedale, WY and the Museum Of The Mountain Men there, South Pass City etc, just to name a few. Thanks for watching the video, I am glad you enjoyed it. I think Kentucky is a beautiful state. I wanted to do a video at Boonesborough, but it was closed. Take time and visit the Shaker Community, also. It is just a few miles from Fort Harrod. I have videos on several places you mention and visit the rest and do filming. Enjoy Kentucky and the states next to it, there a lot neat places.
That's really cool to see folks from other places visit and enjoy fort. I grew up here in Harrodsburg, stop by again when you get the chance.
Happy you enjoyed the video. There are several other places in eastern Kentucky I would like to video
@@WyomingTraveler I hope you get to do it.

Happy you enjoyed the video. Since I live in Wyoming, I don’t get to visit many eastern forts
I live 9 miles from Fort Harrod but I travel to Wyoming alot to get away from the humidity in the Summer and to just hang out in the Bighorns.
The Bighorns are a great place to hangout, In my view the Bighorns are the most area of Wyoming.
We visited Ft Harrod a few weeks ago. My 5th great grandfather was one of the first people there, James Ray. Traveled from NC to KY with Boone.

This is a lot like Boonesborough.
Yes, it does. Most of the forts on the Kentucky frontier were built in the same style. Thanks for watching
