Oh My Goodness! Your bookshelves have grown so much in the last few months and I’m IN LOVE!!! Another amazing and relaxing video Emmie, so thank you for that!💙💙
I loved your map of Greece! Im currently studying Interior Design in uni, its a fascinating field for me, especially how it changes for each country/city/home and how people's views of the world influence their entire living space. My favorite part is designing a project based on sociology, philosophy, psychology and antropology, which you can't do a unique work for your client without dive into their lives and these studys. I also have a map on my wall marking where the most important craftworkers live and work in my state Alagoas - Brasil. They are a precious part of our state and country and their work is deeply entwined with Interior Design and design in general. I love your videos!
I am in graduate school in New York State and I am working towards a Public History degree so I can work in museums. My dream would be to become a curator, and I also hope to design my very own exhibition space one day. My passion is Irish history, so I hope to one day be fortunate enough to design an exhibit revolving around Dublin. I have two full bookshelves of Irish history books and another shelf dedicated to Irish fiction! I recently found your channel and your videos give me such a sense of calm in a crazy world.
you're one of only two booktubers i've ever seen even mention my favorite book, and it's great to see someone doing more than just YA, so i was super excited to subscribe!
Your bookshelves are SO BEAUTIFUL! I'm in awe! I graduated from college a few years ago, and watching your videos makes me miss it so much! I was an English and Creative Writing major, and I miss the almost "New Year's" type quality that came around every Sept 1st when I'd start getting ready for the school year. There's nothing quite like buying fresh school supplies :) It was such a nice reset. Thankfully I have your videos, which seem to perpetually inhabit that cozy, autumnal space.
i'm currently in my second semester of studying criminology & psychology!!!! it's my dream course and i'm LOVING it so far, but if i had to be studying anything else it would definitely be linguistics (though we do look at it quite a bit in some of my subjects) ❣️ loved this video emma!!!!
tomorrow's the first day of my last semester of college, and I'm studying strategic communications (a part of the journalism school - similar to marketing, advertising, social media, etc) and minoring in German studies 😊no post-college plans yet, but that's ok!
I loved this! I love watching people redesign their shelves, and seeing how other people coordinate their spaces, not sure why? I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts in NZ double majoring in European Studies (with a focus on Russian Language) and Politics and IR, which is a bit of a mouthful haha!
I love your space. It’s so cozy and warm! I’m currently a Biology major and I’ve been looking for some organization and decor ideas for my bookshelf and desk area since my uni has moved online. I loved the fairies lights and vines ✨🌱 I’m gonna try and incorporate them into my own space!
I just moved into my college dorm and everything has been A Lot lately but your videos are literally so calming for me and make me feel so much better,, literally ur the best
the vibes in this video are immaculate I'm planning on going back to school next year to study biology with the goal of transferring out of state to continue my major there, I plan to have an emphasis in some kind of environmental or animal studies as my ultimate goal is to work with animals and in nature
I am not in school anymore (even though I still look like I am). I am reading all the books that I missed in school though. I didn't get the usual reading lists, so I'm fixing that on my own! Like I only just read 1984 last year...and I read Moby Dick on my own in high school. I have read 8 classics this year so far. I try to read one every month unless it's ginormous. I'm also learning Irish (yes, the language). I'm an Irish musician and I sing in Irish. So, I've been studying that. :)
I'm studying English Literature at MA level and was watching this whilst I planned the next section of my dissertation. I love seeing your stuff about the classics! Sometimes I wish I had studied Classics, such an interesting area of knowledge! :D
Absolutely love this video, Emma! You are the epitome of cosy, thoughtful and lovely on booktube, I love watching all your videos so much and definitely more of those kinds would be a delight! :) I love your new posters - that map of Greece is so so cool (kind of tempted to get one of my own). And all the lights/plants by your books just make me all goey inside. I NEED to reorganise my study/desk/library space as it is the "happy place" at home for me but needs so much work to really make it cosy. I'm in my final semester studying English Literature and Writing (I've also done an undeclared third major in History/Ancient History). I absolutely love learning and reading and enriching my knowledge through imagination and the written word. I'm at the moment hoping to do my Honours/Dissertation next year in literary studies on C.S. Lewis' literary criticism/ideas, centring on his work on Milton's Paradise Lost - fingers crossed it gets finalised!
I followed up ur recommendation to purchase the castle of Otranto.. after dark.. that island of Dr. Moreau.. illuminate..one hundred years of solitude.. sent my love to u from Taiwan🥰
First I love how everything turned out. It looks great! Second, I noticed you have an Enchanted Sonata. I only know one other person who's read it, so I'm so excited to see that book on someone else's shelf! I love maps too! That'll be a really useful one to have around especially for your degree. Magnets are so much fun to play with. I used to have a whole bunch of them that I played with as a kid. I love how your desk looks! It's so cozy and cute! YES! I love nautical themes! I really enjoyed this and I always love videos like this.
Right now I am on track for a Visual Arts degree but looking to switch to a Social Science to persue a degree in Anthrophology (specifically anthropology) as well as a degree in Folklore and Classical mythology, hopefully to one day teach a college class on cultural anthropology and mythology and hopefully comparative mythology. So far, I am reading Thomas Bulfinch's Mythology so technically I am studying mythology 😂.
I’m going back this semester with a double major in English and Korean! I’m so nervous to go back but also so excited. I’m currently trying to revamp my desk for all my online classes :)
this was perfect timing, Emma! I've been needing to clean/refresh my office before remote classes start and this was just the inspiration I needed. Lovely space! hope you're doing well!
This came into my recommendations in the perfect moment ! I’m buying a new shelf tomorrow and was in the mood for a reorganization video ☺️ I’m glad I found your channel , love you’re videos ❤️
Enjoyed the video. You made me rethink my reading nook set-up for the fall. Thinking about moving my reading chair to a different corner, nearer to the window. Autumn afternoons spent reading near an open window, is there anything better?
I was waiting a whole day for your video! I would love to see updated bookshelves tour btw. I am going to uni this fall and I will study international cultural studies or English literature. We will see where I end up going. Can't wait for your reading vlog!
Loved this video! I'm currently doing a a double degree (its a german thing :D) in ''English and American Studies'' and ''Social Studies''. I'm also taking educational science courses to become a teacher. Love your channel!
New bookshelf = More space = More books B) Lovely organization, you have tastes so similar to mine and it gives me a lot of inspiration. Hope you are well, pequeña x.
Hi Emmie! What is the piano song that you play in your videos? I love it and would love to know. Also loved the video as usual; your setup is dreamie! ✨
Wow, your setup is amazing! You've really inspired me to pull up my sleeves and reorganize mine. It's been bugging me for a while. My bookshelves are behind/above my desk to conserve space, but I'm super short, so I have to climb on my desk to reach my books. I'm so done with that. My desk and my bookshelves are getting a divorce. 🤣
Hi 🥺 I’m going to be in grade 11 in 2 weeks. I just want you to know that I used to be a procrastinator and even if I had everything in my life planned out, I never got to the actual work. But whenever I watch your videos, i feel super motivated to get back on the track. I want to study English Literature abroad after I graduate. Can you recommend some must-read books for high schoolers? We mainly study Vietnamese works in Lit classes here ;w;
Your bookshelves look so lovely excited to get back to mine at university soon. I'm studying marine biology and am particularly interested in the behaviour and communication of dolphins and whales.
nice... a good recommendation to your book shelf....Dear Reader By Julie, written by Reshma Cheknath Umesh...a great book which imparts aesthetic moments...
Just found out about your channel, and really loving your vids a lot, so insta subbed! Btw I've been wondering since you've read mexican gothic recently whether you're interested in reading a manuscript of a renaissance fantasy/gothic novel that I'm planning on releasing later this year. Thanks in advance, and looking forward to more of your content!
Very nice! I love books and candles I see you have your bath and body works candles. I'm reading the prisoners wife it's based on a true story about 2 very different people falling in love during world war 2. I also just bought 12 candles from bath and body works lol it was a sale
As a reader and lover of books it really is a great feeling setting up a new empty book shelf to fill up with more books
This video is free therapy 💆♀️❤️
