No matter all the theories, I just feel so bad for Mono. He had to spend all that time, all those years, *alone*. The last thing he would remember is being betrayed at the last moment.
If it helps... It could have been only a few minutes from his perspective, but we're not sure because of how it's implied that place warps time and space.
I think the sequence of the story is VLN, LN2, the Comics then LN1. Everyone seems to keep getting confused as to how six got her raincoat in both VLN and LN2, but I think here's why. In VLN, we see in the ending that Six took the girl's raincoat, which appeared to be vaporized by the Pretender as they hit the water. She then set sail to the main city where he was found by Mono. She must have lost the coat somewhere in the city as she must've been wandering there when the Hunter saw her and took her to his home. I think that the reason why she wore the coat without hesitation the moment she spotted it is because it reminds her of the events in VLN, not just because of the rain. As LN2 finally concludes, we see in the bonus ending that Six's glitch looks over to what appears to be a poster of the Maw, hinting the events of LN1. The sequence would make sense as the comic suggests that Six is wandering the streets of an unknown city before she was caught and taken to the Maw. but Hey, it's just a pure speculation.
Jenkins Abaring which comics do you mean? Because in the ln2 comics mono is shown in episode 1 or 2 so it should be comics before ln2 if you include those
Ironically, Six eating Mono would still have been happier ending than what he got. At least it's an instant death. Now he's trapped for 40+ years in that Transmission completely alone, until he became a shell of a person.

It all makes sense now. When Six was captured, her soul, or that's what it's assumed to be, was left behind. And when she was saved from the signal tower's twisted dimension, it was her physical body that had escaped from it and while lacking it's soul, causing the two to now be separate entities, leaving the physical Six, in a way, empty (somewhat physically, and in a way of speaking), and hungry while soul Six was forced to stay separated from her body with no known way of returning to it and forced to watch her physical body go through all the events of the first Little Nightmares and grow more and more hungry, needing something to fill in the space that her soul used to take up. But, that's just my short little theory.
That's what I thought. People are saying it's Evil Six when the Six in the extra cutscene is glitched out like the children and when she initially was caught.

Little detail: when you first see monster six and call her over, she was sitting in an old suitcase. It looks like the one from the first game that she wakes up in.
So in this ending does it basically say it’s an endless loop? Six gets out and spots a poster for that place in the first game and is now endlessly hungry for some sort of flesh because she transformed, she goes to get that food in the location of the first game but gets stuck their vulnerable because she is no longer deformed but the transmission tower, she then escapes and meets Mono again but initially runs away because she remembers last time, but then realised she needs him to get to the attic of the huntsman’s house then they go through the second game and the cycle repeats. I also heard that the thin man that chases us in this game is Mono but because of the transmission tower time and reality becomes warped hence all of the imagery, like the fleshy walls, which allows two Mono’s to exist at the same time. Thin man Mono tries to save small Mono from Six as he remembers her abandoning him and leaving him to a miserable fate, but physical contact between the two Monos kills the weaker one (being little Mono) because of the reality altering energy they both possess interaction and repelling each other because of the different frequencies between the small Mono’s younger underdeveloped powers and Thin man Monos older more tamed powers.
I think it is a coincidence that the Maw poster is there and by seeing that and her other first game self ,she remembers the incident on the Maw ,but if it was a prequel why would the guests on the Maw be acting on free will not trying to get to the nearest signal tower broadcast or kill whoever turned the broadcast off ,also it would explain why she would know how to complete puzzles (ik it’s the AI)

@@Nifica I feel like six wouldn't eat Mono right away bc during the first couple of times when six got hungry in little nightmare she ate “regular food” and since they are in the city she could have ate food from a nearby store but eventually she would succumb to the hunger and probably eat mono if he was with her in the end. Theory : when we realised mono becomes the thin man, we remember in the first game that you see a tall thing man hung, maybe mono realises that he can't save himself or six, and he is the actual person who lead to the hung thin man, trying to escape his horrible fate
I'm thinking the one that is hung in the Maw is the one from the comics. Otherwise, why would the Thin Man still be around at part 2? Unless this is a prequel. But the dev said it was a sequel. There's so many things that point it to being a prequel, but some of them could be explained away. Like Six finding her rain coat in the middle of the city. Maybe she took it off for some reason, and then got caught by the Hunter and taken away, and it's coincidental that Mono brought her back that way. Maybe having Shadow/glitch Six look down at the Maw picture means that we're going to return to it for some reason. Can't think of why, unless she eventually turns into the Lady like Mono turned into the Thin Man.
I just remembered how in one of your old theories you mentioned how the signal tower is behind the thin man and looks like mono with the bag on his head. But now we know it completely was true considering thin man is mono
You know what hurts the most? The fact that she dropped him because she didn't want to kill him. She cared for him, he saved her so many times, and she didn't want to hurt him. One of the glitch people we find in is the hospital in the room with a hole and broken spoons. That is the same girl who was in the third comic. I definitely recommend it, it's kind of animated and the sound design is very creepy : )
But, I urge you to look back at the first game, wherein (that's a word right?) anytime six eats, dark six appears, this game also seems to have dark six in it, but only near the end, perhaps implying that little nightmares 2 is a prequel (sorry for spitting word vomit all over your comment btw)

We now know little nightmares is being told backwards. The mobile game was a prequel to how six ended up in the forest. The only details missing is what six did after the maw, and how she ended up in the cabin. We know the music box was her mother’s and that six escaped the watchtower. So is this all a story of a family feud?
It has to be somewhere in the range of a sequel, because if this is a prequel then how did the other girl in the mobile game get the yellow rain coat meaning the mobile game is the prequel to the first little nightmares because at the end of that game six gets the rain coat and, if little nightmares2 is a sequel to the first little nightmares then the secret ending in this game has to mean something else but I really don't know I'm trying to figure out if there's something missing.

Basicaly it's just the story of Mono, it's the end for him. He is stuck in this infinite loop while Six in the ship with the Woman in the first opus, so i think we just have to not care anymore about Mono, he is "dead".

Imo, Six didn't need to "turn evil" for her to let go of Mono exactly how he let her go when Thin Man came to capture her. She knew the world out there is a horrible cruel one and she can't rely on someone that will leave her alone the moment something scary happens, so she cut ties with Mono right there. Her suffering and fear didn't stopped existing just because he came to "rescue" her after the fact, after suffering such horrible transformation that who knows how painful it was for her body. It was tough but completely understandable. On her eyes Mono betrayed her first. She had every right to be pissed. I also don't really like how this game treats "as evil" when Six kills on her own the little puppets that were planning to torture her until killing her like a toy, but when Mono goes around smashing heads with whatever he has on hand that is fine because reasons.
It's just that when Six killed the little student she did it with her bare hands, and we as players did not expect it. Six is notorious for doing stuff when we least expect them. Also I think that if Mono had helped Six when the Thin Man came for her, he would've just died or get trapped or maybe sth worse. But yeah from Six's point of view it does seem like Mono left her alone in a really scary situtation. On the other hand, she shouldn't forget all the times that Mono actually saved her. I see your point though.

I'm super excited to see what theories you come up with on the next video~! Anyway, it's interesting to note that Six's shadow at the very end resembles that of a Nome. While it might be simply because of lighting and angles, it might very well mean something. The fact that you can hear her stomach grumbling is also be something worth looking in to.

I think she seen that he would become the thin man and hoping killing him would mean the cycle would end so she let him fall instead of killing him by his own hands but he actually lived then still becoming the thin man

Hey Mike. They confirmed this to be a sequel. That’s the whole reason why Six dropped Mono. She’d rather him die to the tower than be eaten by her. Her hunger attack was a callback to the first LN.

Okay, sudden thought popped into my head. I agree with many that say this means LN2 is actually a prequel, glitch Six might be the Dark Six that shows up whenever she eats something. But what if the reason for her immense all-consuming hunger, is because glitch Six is her soul, and because Six doesn't have her soul in her body, she feels an emptiness which manifests in unending hunger.
Supported by her gaining The Lady's powers. Six doesn't have those powers, but she gained them through absorbing the soul of The Lady. Shadow Six, meanwhile, is probably what good was left in Six but they're permanently split up unless someone else like Mono comes along.

man the ending really sucks cuz they were freaking bonding too.. in the school when you save her from those idiot bullies, and as Mono helps Six up- is when they started bonding. Then another thing I discovered- whenever you and Six run from the breaking building and get crushed, Six will immediately run back to you to try to help but obviously you’re dead lol. And the last TV you enter before you meet Thin man face to face. When Six pulls you out of the TV she gets concerned and checks if you’re okay, and as Mono gets up she still acts concerned for him and not Thin man. Back to the crushing building part, after you pull Six out of the mess they look eachother for a moment with a nice melody. So they were obviously bonding til the end. DAMMIT MAKE A PART THREE AND MAKE IT HAVE A HAPPY ENDING WITH THEM TWO😭
well but you can also use those scene to show Six is not normal or slowly distrust Mono. After got saved from the bully, she went and smashed one head in for revenge. Mono enter the TV and released him in the first place, so if Six manage to connect the dot, she will know he is the Thin Man and no longer want to trust him anymore, specially when he captured her, he just stay hiding in the bed, holding his hand. So Six is never a good person, the only reason she come with Mono is because she need him to help her escape in the first place. We also assume the Thin Man want to saved his younger self but we never see any adult behave normal in the game and Mono, who is stay in the tower for year, why would he be any different.
Seven: A friend or hates being alone and just wants company and to be happy and to make others happy. Six: A greedy girl who only cares about her safety and health then was turned into the lady. Mono: A boy who no matter what never gives up, he is good at parkour and a friendly person, he is good at teamwork and is determined to do what he sets of to do.
I do wonder if six let Mono drop because she was mad at him. Mono stares at the screen when the thin man was escaping but six wanted them to run. This lead to six being taken. And when mono found six in the signal tower, she was quite contempt with her music box, which Mono then smashed. In Six's eyes, Mono was constantly putting her in danger. We know six is twisted from her breaking fingers in hospital, so its no surprise when she betrayed Mono

Bruh I am so unhappy with this ending but six has gotten used to leaving Freinds behind because that whats she did in very little nightmares but if they make a part 3 it’s has to be mono getting out of the signal tower because it’s a paradox which will keep happening so in part 3 it’s either mono opening the door and the thin man tells mono what happened and he want revenge on six or we see what happens after six escaped the maw

As I comeback to this video if thin man is Mono that’s how thin man is able to travel threw. TVs like mono because he is mono or he is just glitching in and out of existence.
Actually, it's implied Six did care about Mono... Only, when Shadow Six (her soul) was removed from her body, any positive feelings she had towards Mono went with Shadow Six. Shadow Six's only role in this game is her trying to help Mono escape from the Thin Man, she's still protecting her friend. Meanwhile, when Six let Mono fall... She was still a soulless body, and Shadow Six can't do anything except watch as her now soulless body tries to the void where its soul used to be. Based on how Shadow Six was actively trying to help Mono, I think that part of Six actually did care about him.
My theory of the secret ending is that the glitch version of six is the good one Why? Because in little nightmares 1 (the gnome eating scene) on the table the glitch 6 is there watching from a far never interacting with her just popping up from time to time watch as the radio tower takes control as good 6 watch's knowing her body's doomed
Anyone else notice that the light in the ending (where mono grows up to be the thin man) changes colour every time it cuts back? It started out from bright pink to purple to blue. Im not sure if this is just for artistic purposes or if theres any meaning behind it. Still looks cool though.
My personal theory is basically that the color change shows how the tower controls the world over time. The fist color is basically when the tower was barely built, then after time the LN world slowly gets corrupted until it's the world we saw as Mono, considering the last color looks like the TV ones we see.
I have a theory about the reason Six let go, I don't think anyone commented about it, so I'll just do it: One of the obvious reasons is breaking the music box, as she shows great comfort when around it, such as while trapped in the hunters house, it was her only comfort, and during the ending, she shows great comfort around it while everything around her is twisted and stuff, and when she lets go, she hums the tune showing importance. Also during the first game, she hums the tune during hunger, as she wants comfort, so she hums it, and during the ending, she hums the tune to show confidence as she kills all of the guests. The second reason is why I do not feel bad for Mono, now if Thin Man is Mono, and Shadow Six is the good Six, which Thin Man separated her from, it means she is evil, but isn't Mono Thin Man?!?! Doesn't that mean MONO separated from her soul?!?! If he just accepted his fate, he would break the time loop, he was literally trapped there for over FORTY YEARS, couldn't he AT LEAST figured out if he does not separate her from her soul, they would continue the journey with Mono, but the question now is, how did the very first Thin Man become Thin Man? Was someone before him in the signal tower, who wanted to be free, then took Mono to become Thin Man and Six to continue alone? But then why did the first Thin Man separate her from her soul? I only feel bad for Mono because he was a victim of himself.
I'm seeing all these theories that Six meant to drop Mono so she wouldn't eat him. I think those are amazing as she tries to protect mono the best way she can. I do want to add something that maybe the game didn't show the player, what if she was watching herself turn into that monster as mono tried to destroy the music box. She saw her monstrous form just protecting the music box & she was constantly fighting to try & take control, I think this is somewhat proven when you first mean Monster Six as Mono as you call out to her & Monster Six is following you not harming you at all. When Mono first damaged the Music box, Something awoke in Monster Six thus forcing Sane Six to lose control completely & just watches the whole fight hoping mono to win. When Monster Six turns into Normal Six, Six herself kept having some kind of thoughts of hunger especially when the Thin Man(Mono) pulled six's soul out of her body. When they got to the final bridge to the exit of the tower, Six possibly knew she won't be able to stay in control forever due to the hunger & whatever the Tower did to six so instead of pulling him up, again knowing she can't hold control over the "Hunger" she dropped him letting him fall on the flesh. As shown in the Tower by the flesh, there must be a controller to the tower as you need someone as the leader or hierarchy to take over the world, this is shown not only in "The Maw" but in Pale City as well with the mannequins & the faceless "Viewers". TL;DR: Six was fighting the tower to take control of her body & eventually lost by the time they got to the exit. Whatever is in her body now is up to the people to make their own theories. This is my theory to add onto six trying to protect mono the best she could.

You know, I’m starting to think this is a prequel to the first little nightmare because of the last scene. If you remember, Superhorrorbro had did a video where it showed a evil six in the background while she’ll eat something (someone). I’m not quite sure why the glitch watches, but it’s important. Also it shows that the developers already knew they were making a second game and have storyline planned.
Here's a theory I have: Shadow Six (the one that watches) IS Six's soul. Meaning the Six who drops Mono is literally a soulless husk of the person she was because of the Thin Man. That's why she dropped Mono, because whatever positive feeling she had towards him were left in Shadow Six (who tried to guide him when the Thin Man was chasing him), but her body, lacking a soul, couldn't care less about her former friend. It's also why she's perpetually hungry in LN1, she's probably trying to fill the void the Thin Man left in her by eating other souls (like the Gnome and the Lady's).
Can I just say that after Six gets taken by the tall thin man we see the glitching remains of them, and then we figure out that all the other glitchy remains were other kids who got caught. A detail some miss is that when Mono collects a glitched remain we hear a version of the sound effect that plays when the player gets caught. Pretty sure everyone noticed it but didn’t really acknowledge it thats it’s a sound effect that plays when caught
That ending had me with the theory, the reason six is hungry is because she's empty, she needs to fill that void that caused her by separating her soul and being known as shadow six. That's what I think 🤔 Another thing that I wanna add: This would mean that six wanted to avoid having this angula fate,Repeating her entire journey again to make a change and not "suffer" her destiny . In thinman's first appearance, she makes a gesture that would be interpreted as she wanted mono to be carried instead of her, but seeing that the thin man didn't do anything as she want, six panicked and started running. Causing the end again and again And now that's my theory about the secret ending😅

Actually, it's implied Shadow Six is the remnants of Six's soul. Before then, she seemed to actually care about Mono... And Shadow Six (who is likely her soul) did try to guide Mono to safety when he was being chased by The Thin Man. Thing is, they never remerged, so the Six in the ending of LN2 and the duration of LN1 legit has no soul inside of her. I think the reason she ate the Gnome was because, having no soul, she was trying to fill the void left by the Thin Man ripping her spirit out of her body in some attempt to absorb another soul... She does eventually absorb The Lady's, explaining why she gained her powers.
She doesn't want to eat Mono So she dropped him look at the last part where six got hungry she tolerate her hungry not to eat Mono in all Parts In the Secret ending Six Shadow is Like a Gnome I don't know why

I like to imagine that maybe Six's soul stayed with Mono after the secret ending. In his story theory, the reason why Six was always hunger was because she was taking the life force of other creatures to try and replace her soul but it's only temporary so maybe her soul stayed with him (but the glitch six appeared in the first game so it's highly unlikely that her soul stayed with Mono, at least for a little while)
no, if you notice throughout the game six doesn't seem to experience any hunger cramps they only seem to manifest after her escape from the tower. Her hunger is hinted to be a result of her self splitting in 2 as a result of her kidnapping. The thing is throughout the game we notice certain moments where six displays certain cruel or sadistic tendencies like breaking apart fingers in the hospital, strangeling a bully to death, warming herself by the fire as the doctor is burned alive and then there is the whole encounter in the tower. I think six is a very vengeful type a person and might even felt betrayed by mono for being allowed to be kidnapped in the first place
I actually don't think so but I wan't to see SHBM opinion on the Story I think what we saw Was something like a time loop the thin man was mono all along the same person thats why mono became the thin man then mono kill the thin man mono becomes the thin man again....hope you understood my horrible english and explaining. So if then LN 1 is next in the time line I think it is going like this six becomes stronger kills the Lady and gets her Power the Lady now (once six ) seemingly knowing of six and her Power like they the same ( anothe loop ) is trying to stop her gets eaten alive and repeat.
If six really was ruthless and wanted power she could've just killed an eaten mono to get more power, maybe this was the best thing she could do to help him out of a bad situation, because six can't control herself when she's hungry, could've been the tv's fault she became this way
Something that proves even more that this is a prequel is that you actually see the glitch six when the eat the rat and the gnome in little nightmares 1
So a little theory here, at the end of LN1 (either the main game or the DLC) you see Mono (Thin Man) appear on the same screen through which Six escaped. Knowing that after LN2, Six (and her dark side) travelled to the Maw, it could be possible that Mono, bent by revenge, will eventually follow her there through the transmissions. The one thing that might make this impossible is that I don’t remember seeing many TV’s on the Maw (other than Roger’s, who ironically was also mesmerized by the TV when Six turned it on). Another problem would depend on whether or not Six actually steals or just copies the abilities of others, meaning that if she stole Mono’s abilities then he would be unable to broadcast anymore, but this would end the time loop (due to him being unable to leave and re-enter televisions). One last thing: upon reading some interesting comments I like the idea of another kid (maybe Seven or something) ending the loop and saving everyone from their cruel fate. What if this is true, and this kid (Seven) is the same kid who gives Six bread on the Maw when she got hungry for the first time? Just a thought, sorry it’s a long one 😂
Why did six betray mono? well. First of all the game starts with mono breaking a door where six was calm with a music box in a house. Idk you but if I were six I would be scared asf. She runs and gets obligated to cooperate with mono to escape the house where she was trapped (she didn't have any other way to escape). They escape and help each other though the "friendship" they have is not really comfortable, since six doesn't trust completely mono. When she gets trapped in the school and mono gets there to help six, she finally trusts mono and she isn't scared of him anymore (some body signals can give you the hint). The thing is, when mono tries to get in the tv's to travel to his dream where he has to open a door, he always gets out of there by six, since she wants to help him not be trapped. Then mono gets to a second tv and wants to get into the tv again. Guess what, six helps him again, but this time (you can check a video if you want), after helping him she kinda moves out of his way. She's starting to not trust mono again. They keep on going and the third time mono gets to a tv he liberates thin man, which obviously is mono but in his adult form. Thinman gets out of the tv and he chases six and mono. Thinman captures six and mono doesn't do anything... he just stays under the bed... saving his life and betraying six. Ok so what thinman does now is hey. The lil' mono is myself as a kid and I want him to liberate me. It's what the adult mono was searching his whole life. Himself. He tricks mono by letting six be in the tv asking for help to mono but he gets six out of the way and gets out the tv to chase the lil' mono. Mono escapes and separates the train which is a metaphor of mono not following the path of his adult form. When mono gets to the tower (with the pink/purple portals and stuff) he finds six which was trapped there with her beautiful memories. Such as the music box AND the box she was trapped in the first game. When mono liberates six from that trance/dream she is in that moment. Six becomes normal again and stays in a pose of anger. She's preparing to fight mono because mono got her out of her perfect dream. A dream where she could be calm with her music box. Suddenly the tower gets mad because it doesn't have a recipent anymore (The whole flesh thing in the ending). Guess what. When mono jumps and six grabs his hand. Six gets to see the face of mono for the first time (mono got his mask off in the battle with himself). She sees the face of thinman. The one who trapped her and tortured her. Guess six isn't that bad at all.
Six wasn't getting hungry at all throughout the whole of the game, so i'm thinking it was a side effect of her change in the tower. might be a bit of a stretch but with how she acted when hungry in the maw, compared to how she acts in this game, feels like she's a completely different person. She got her normal body back after mono destroyed her music box, but kept a potential insatiable hunger she had whilst she was deformed. I really wanted to believe in the theory that six let go of mono so she doesn't "eat him", but i just think there's more logic that she had just formed her new hunger rather than coincidentally got hungry right at the end when she was holding on to him.
If you pay attention to the secret ending, six shadow glitch thing looks at a maw poster that might be advertising a restaurant then six gets hungry and then she travels there and that’s how the games are connected,there are still gaps which are probably findable but I’m to tired to look :)
Wait a minute! It's Dark Six! Each time Six ate something, she appeared! This might hint that this is a prequel, because I don't see why Dark Six would appear if she was a normal kid... but no... she didn't belong to the Maw... (unless Dark six was there to show that Six was going to eat Mono) But anyways, if the Pale city has constant Time-travel shenanigans, this could be a sequel and a prequel at the same time because the ending is also the beggining... Edit: Dark Six was seeing a poster for the Maw! and then she got hungry! So probably Dark Six told Six to get herself into the Maw? what if she got captured on purpose? she was around some people who look like guesses and then the ferryman show up and took her...
Maybe the Glitch at the end resembles the good side of six and when it disappeared has six basically killed he's good self. Because of the glich of six helps Momo to defeat the "long man". The Glitch was at little nightmares one too and helped six to eat. So the, let's call him "Glitch six" is the good part of six and when it's out of six's body her evil part takes control. That would explain why six eat the gnome at little Nightmare one. And maybe Glitch six can't go in the "other world" because there wasn't even one glitch in the chapter where he Momo was in the House. And because of that she was separated from six's Body and because of that six's evil side can take control of six body. So that means that every time where six helped us Glitch six was in the Body and had the control of Six. And because six's evil side was in the body and taked the Power of Momo who can make the Gliches disappear and going trough tvs she killed Glitch six so she can have the full control of the six's body.
Yep, Shadow Six... Despite appearing to be made up of darkness, never does anything overtly malicious in the series. The one time she does anything, she's actively trying to help her friend escape from the Thin Man.
What I thought was six dropped mono in the end because she didn't want to eat him like you can see in the first game she will eat the first thing she will she and shadow six appears hen she killed/ate something so maybe she did not want to kill mono that's why she dropped him PS I not sure I'm just guessing Edit: Also probably because she was his friend maybe that's why he dropped him so I don't think she dropped mono on purpose because it was a heated moment so she was going to escape and kill mono or drop mono so she didn't have to watch herself killing mono
Ok this text I just said was very long but the other thing I thought that since mono did not have his bag six noticed he was linked to the thin man that's why she looks at him before dropping him or my first theory
So it is a prequel after all, while also being a sequel. After Six abandons Mono in the tower, she sees the poster of the Maw and plans to reach it (kicking of the events from the first game) to still her hunger (which she probably received after turning into a monster). „Glitch Six“ can also be found in Little Nightmares 1. And when she escapes from the Maw again, she‘ll meet Mono, who will release is past/future self the Thin Man, who attempts to kidnap Six so his past-self will never be betrayed and trapped in the tower (kicking of the events of the second game) but will eventually fail and the younger Mono will be trapped again, creating an endless Paradox.
After Six comes out of the TV in the secret ending, she seems to wrap her arms around herself. At first I thought her hunger was starting to act up, but later when her stomach growls, she seems to let go in surprise, when usually she would clutch her stomach whenever that would happen. I don't know if that has any meaning at all, or if that's even what she's doing. I guess I want to think she was hugging herself because she was upset for having let Mono fall :( I really hope we get an explanation for Six's actions throughout these games, even if a somehow vague one. I know that the world of Little Nightmares is meant to be confusing, but they do seem to want to give some sort of sense to the kids trying to survive in it. It would be a shame if they just made confusing and ambiguous stories for the sake of keeping a captive audience trying to theorize what's happening based on what they have and eventually come up with some in-universe excuse when things inevitably start to not add up anymore (like the parts not adding up taking place in a parallel universe or something). Gravity Falls managed to leave tons of things up for interpretation and keep us theorizing even after its ending and still wrap up most if not all of its main plot points, so it can be done, and I hope that's also the case for Little Nightmares, if only regarding Six's story at least.
I'm still questioning everything about how she got the raincoat did she actually get it from the other girl in Very Little Nightmares or is it a different girl who you help in that game
I think it's actually _both;_ we know Very Little Nightmares is a _prequel_ and is 100% confirmed to take place _before_ the first Little Nightmares. However, we _also know_ that Little Nightmares 2 is a _sequel_ and takes place _AFTER_ the first game. The timeline is *Very Little Nightmares (with Six and Raincoat Girl) --> Little Nightmares (with Six and Runaway Kid and the comics) --> Little Nightmares 2 (with Six and Mono).* *_Here's my timeline theory:_* Six _originally_ gets her raincoat from the Girl in the Yellow Raincoat who died with The Pretender after falling off a cliff (we know because although the Girl doesn't float back up, her raincoat does and we see Six climb down the cliff to the water where it's floating, and we know Raincoat Girl =/= Six because Six never had the girl's long braids we see as she fell). From there, the comics show how Six left The Nest and found herself in the Mainland city. However, there's one thing Six didn't know; the identity of the Raincoat Girl. See, there's a theory claiming that while Six isn't The Lady's daughter (confirmed by the devs), the Raincoat Girl from VLN _IS_ The Lady's daughter, and the two look very much alike when they wear the yellow coat (again, it was only confirmed that Six =/= Raincoat Girl because the Girl has a long hair braid Six doesn't have, but that braid is only visible when the hood comes off like when she tragically fell to her death). Because of this, the teleporting Ferryman finds Six in the Mainland and mistakes her for the Raincoat Girl and takes her to The Maw. However, the monsters at The Maw discover that Six _isn't_ their boss' child and instead throw her down to The Prison where the events of the first game take place; Six sneaks her way past The Janitor, Chefs, Guests and defeats The Lady to escape. The reason Six is so cold and even cruel in LN1 is because her failure to save Raincoat Girl caused her to think she couldn't save anyone and had no choice but to look after herself and _only_ herself. After leaving The Maw, she hitches a ride on a ship to the Pale City. Once there, however, the newfound power she gained from eating The Lady was suppressed by The Signal Tower which sensed the threat of Six's power, leaving her vulnerable to the traps of The Hunter, an insane wilderness man obsessed with the concept of family (after losing his own family, which explains the stuffed family sat at The Hunter's table, similar to how The Neighbor from Hello Neighbor placed mannequins around his house to remind him of the family he tragically lost). When Six was captured by The Hunter, he removed her raincoat and instead forced her to wear an ordinary dress and placed her in her own room with a music box, possibly hoping to keep her as his newly-adopted daughter (again, because he was driven insane by the loss of his own spouse and children). Not too long after this, though, Mono enters the picture and selflessly helps her to escape and take down The Hunter, kicking off the events of the sequel where she helps Mono get to the Signal Tower and free the Pale City while her power. _Along the way, Six gets _*_another_*_ raincoat_ in the dirty streets of the Pale City, to remind her of the girl who saved her in the past while still progressing onwards with Mono. Unfortunately for the newly-made friends, however, the Signal Tower's secret weapon and strongest phantom-esque guardian - _The Thin Man_ - turns out to be Mono's future self, and kidnaps Six first to stop his child self from throwing his life away as The Signal Tower's puppet. Tragically, Mono _doesn't_ give up. While he's busy getting to the Signal Tower and squaring off with The Thin Man, Six figures out that Mono will grow up to become the Thin Man and The Signal Tower's slave guardian. Realizing that her new best friend is doomed and remembering how she previously failed to save her previous ally - Raincoat Girl - Six decides to leave Mono to his fate after he saves her again, haunted by her failure to save the Raincoat Girl and further sorrowful that she couldn't stop Mono from becoming the Signal Tower's slave as well as not being able to trust herself _not_ to devour her friend once her stomach started demanding food again (which, sure enough, happens once she escapes the Signal Tower). Thus, Six survives... but does so carrying the guilt that _twice_ now she couldn't save her saviors from their fates (Raincoat Girl's fall and Mono's future as The Thin Man) along with still being an ever-starving child who will endanger any potential friends she meets. For anyone angry that Six lives while the other children heroes of the franchise (Raincoat Girl, Runaway Kid, Mono) didn't... it's likely that, at least deep down, she wished she hadn't.

My Theory is that Six let go of Mono because at that last moment, she was able to see his face clearly, she must've seen a resemblance to The Thin Man and connected the dots that somehow, Mono would grow up to be The Thin Man, the one she thinks is the one behind the signal tower's corruption and the one who's out to get her for whatever reason, she might have thought that letting him die would put an end to the signal tower's corruption. Though she probably didn't realize that her betraying him would be the exact situation that triggers this time paradox, Mono just thinks that Six betrayed him and after all those years, as The Thin Man, tries to save his younger self from six who he thinks is just evil. Afterwards, Six emerges from the TV and her "shadow/glitch" self makes it's appearance for the first time, this could be a side effect from having been warped by the signal tower. I don't think Six let go of Mono to save him from herself since her stomach growls for the first time after she emerges from the TV. Her shadow self then gives her the idea to go to The Maw, where there is a lot of food (meat) I think there's always been something "off" about Six, I don't know if it's as simple as her just being evil, but she for sure has always been off. I think her time being warped in the signal tower exacerbated that and she left that place more unhinged than she was before, leading to her eventually eating that Gnome from the first game and consuming the souls of the guests in The Maw after eating The Lady and taking her powers.
Here’s what I’m hoping a possible third game would be: Six is being hunted by Mono now the Thin Man and the game’s ultimate antagonist, the creature whose face we kept seeing in paintings throughout the game. Even though she has the powers of the Dark Lady the world is still very dangerous to her. She has run ins with the Thin Man but doesn’t hurt him because of who he use to be. At the end of the game Six saves Mono much like he did her, using her powers from the Dark Lady to “drain” the Thin Man’s life from Mono and returning him to normal. Then both face off together against the Creature and defeat it. But I doubt that will happen.
But if this (Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel and not an actual sequel) then would that mean that six knew (or had seen something similar happen to somebody else) what would happen if her and mono stayed together? And that’s why she has powers in Nightmares 1 instead of this one?
She didn't have the hunger at that point. Plus, as this is a prequel to the first Little Nightmares she wouldn't have known she would eat anyone. I feel like she knew that Mono would become the thin man because she spent so long in the tower and because she touched his hand at the end there, otherwise she would have kept running and not caught him only to let him fall anyway.
I have a theory that is believed the best one: This loop is created by both the Six and Mono actions. Because The Six betrayed Mono in the end, he became the Thin Man. However, the secret ending shows that she lost part of her soul (the glitched one) and became a hungry monster because of the Thin Man ability (when he takes her away). If she wasn't caught by the Thin Man, none of this would happen.
The chef you see in the cafeteria was actually supposed to be a boss that you had to sneak past but the creators scrapped it so last minute that since they already had the model, they decided to use it as a prop instead

Some people are making Mono appears like a weak boi. Mono is one strong kid, and Shadow Six knows that. So, I think Shadow Six does not drop/abandon him because kind Six is scared she(SS) will use him to satiate her hunger. Rather Shadow Six drops him to the abyss because she knows Mono is another threat like Thin-man. She only uses Mono to end Thin-man’s reign; and Mono, who has the same ability as Thin-man’s, is another threat to her. Maybe she’s paranoid that Mono may go against her in the future, so it’s better to just let him meet his demise early and before her fear occurs. However, Shadow Six has no idea that Mono is the Blob thing’s host all along. Both The Transmission(who ever created it) and the blob thing are aware of Mono’s ability to reshape and warp reality. They know his power can be used to corrupt the signal(the broadcast), and so the TV programs; thus, distorting and hypnotizing the appearance and mental state of who gets exposed to the programs. Also unbeknownst to Shadow Six, her betrayal leads the depressed and enraged Mono to start a time paradox. And Mono could have closed the portal so Six would be trapped with him forever in the signal tower, but, man, the best boi didn’t. He let himself, alone, be trapped by the blob thing. He still cares for Six -his only friend- even after her betrayal(which he thinks is betrayal since he has no idea it was the shadow six). What I think about the hunger theory is: After Six catches Mono’s hand, the shadow Six begins whispering to Kind Six’s subconsciousness that if she eats him, she can achieve his power and no one will be able to wrong them anymore. So, due to fear, kind six let go of Mono’s hand and let him fall instead. Whether she knows he’ll survive or not, i don’t know. (But the scene really looks like as if Six’s really intended to let Mono fall, she doesn’t even look remotely in deep sorrow or regret. So, I think it’s the shadow six all along.)
I wonder, did Six's hunger come from her time in the Signal tower? if so, then Mono is the reason for his own suffering, Six saves Mono whenever he is entranced by the TV, and Six hesitates in dropping him. But something interesting is that Six wasn't killed by the Thin man like like every other adult, my thoughts on this is that Mono, despite being the thin man, still wants his friend with him which is why he grabs her first and then him, because he already knew where Mono was hiding (being the thin man himself) but instead went after Six, and didn't kill her despite knowing of the betrayal to happen. Mono is caught in a cycle that only he can end, but he's trapped by the promises from the Broadcast that he won't be alone for eternity. In reality he'll be alone until his past self frees and kills him. A sad ending. A great ending, but I wish it was different.
It’s really sad if you think about she didn’t want to hurt her new friend so she made a choice to let her friend live but, that choice came with a consequence if we do get a dlc for this it will probably be mono breaking the cycle or six trying to go back for mono

Little night mares 2 was a prequal to the maw. The last sound was a rumbling stomach and dark 6 from the maw originates at the single tower. Also this is not a secret ending, it is just an extra scene that shows what happeded to 6
It is a "secret ending" in that no one would know it exists if someone didn't fulfill the requirements (in this case, absorbing all the glitch children) to unlock it.

Here's a theory I have: Shadow Six IS Six's soul. Meaning the Six who drops Mono is literally a soulless husk of the person she was because of the Thin Man. That's why she dropped Mono, because whatever positive feeling she had towards him were left in Shadow Six (who tried to guide him when the Thin Man was chasing him), but her body, lacking a soul, couldn't care less about her former friend. It's also why she's perpetually hungry in LN1, she's probably trying to fill the void the Thin Man left in her by eating other souls (like the Gnome and the Lady's).

No matter all the theories, I just feel so bad for Mono. He had to spend all that time, all those years, *alone*. The last thing he would remember is being betrayed at the last moment.

I think the sequence of the story is VLN, LN2, the Comics then LN1.
Everyone seems to keep getting confused as to how six got her raincoat in both VLN and LN2, but I think here's why.
In VLN, we see in the ending that Six took the girl's raincoat, which appeared to be vaporized by the Pretender as they hit the water. She then set sail to the main city where he was found by Mono.
She must have lost the coat somewhere in the city as she must've been wandering there when the Hunter saw her and took her to his home. I think that the reason why she wore the coat without hesitation the moment she spotted it is because it reminds her of the events in VLN, not just because of the rain.
As LN2 finally concludes, we see in the bonus ending that Six's glitch looks over to what appears to be a poster of the Maw, hinting the events of LN1.
The sequence would make sense as the comic suggests that Six is wandering the streets of an unknown city before she was caught and taken to the Maw.

Ironically, Six eating Mono would still have been happier ending than what he got. At least it's an instant death. Now he's trapped for 40+ years in that Transmission completely alone, until he became a shell of a person.

When Six was captured, her soul, or that's what it's assumed to be, was left behind. And when she was saved from the signal tower's twisted dimension, it was her physical body that had escaped from it and while lacking it's soul, causing the two to now be separate entities, leaving the physical Six, in a way, empty (somewhat physically, and in a way of speaking), and hungry while soul Six was forced to stay separated from her body with no known way of returning to it and forced to watch her physical body go through all the events of the first Little Nightmares and grow more and more hungry, needing something to fill in the space that her soul used to take up.
But, that's just my short little theory.

Six gets out and spots a poster for that place in the first game and is now endlessly hungry for some sort of flesh because she transformed, she goes to get that food in the location of the first game but gets stuck their vulnerable because she is no longer deformed but the transmission tower, she then escapes and meets Mono again but initially runs away because she remembers last time, but then realised she needs him to get to the attic of the huntsman’s house then they go through the second game and the cycle repeats. I also heard that the thin man that chases us in this game is Mono but because of the transmission tower time and reality becomes warped hence all of the imagery, like the fleshy walls, which allows two Mono’s to exist at the same time. Thin man Mono tries to save small Mono from Six as he remembers her abandoning him and leaving him to a miserable fate, but physical contact between the two Monos kills the weaker one (being little Mono) because of the reality altering energy they both possess interaction and repelling each other because of the different frequencies between the small Mono’s younger underdeveloped powers and Thin man Monos older more tamed powers.
There is not two Mono's. One is the present Mono and the other is the future Mono.

I'm thinking the one that is hung in the Maw is the one from the comics. Otherwise, why would the Thin Man still be around at part 2? Unless this is a prequel. But the dev said it was a sequel. There's so many things that point it to being a prequel, but some of them could be explained away. Like Six finding her rain coat in the middle of the city. Maybe she took it off for some reason, and then got caught by the Hunter and taken away, and it's coincidental that Mono brought her back that way. Maybe having Shadow/glitch Six look down at the Maw picture means that we're going to return to it for some reason. Can't think of why, unless she eventually turns into the Lady like Mono turned into the Thin Man.

One of the glitch people we find in is the hospital in the room with a hole and broken spoons. That is the same girl who was in the third comic. I definitely recommend it, it's kind of animated and the sound design is very creepy : )

We now know little nightmares is being told backwards. The mobile game was a prequel to how six ended up in the forest. The only details missing is what six did after the maw, and how she ended up in the cabin. We know the music box was her mother’s and that six escaped the watchtower. So is this all a story of a family feud?

Imo, Six didn't need to "turn evil" for her to let go of Mono exactly how he let her go when Thin Man came to capture her. She knew the world out there is a horrible cruel one and she can't rely on someone that will leave her alone the moment something scary happens, so she cut ties with Mono right there. Her suffering and fear didn't stopped existing just because he came to "rescue" her after the fact, after suffering such horrible transformation that who knows how painful it was for her body. It was tough but completely understandable. On her eyes Mono betrayed her first. She had every right to be pissed.
I also don't really like how this game treats "as evil" when Six kills on her own the little puppets that were planning to torture her until killing her like a toy, but when Mono goes around smashing heads with whatever he has on hand that is fine because reasons.

Exactly!! The point is NOTHING in the world of Little Nightmares is black and white.
It's just that when Six killed the little student she did it with her bare hands, and we as players did not expect it. Six is notorious for doing stuff when we least expect them.
Also I think that if Mono had helped Six when the Thin Man came for her, he would've just died or get trapped or maybe sth worse. But yeah from Six's point of view it does seem like Mono left her alone in a really scary situtation. On the other hand, she shouldn't forget all the times that Mono actually saved her. Anyway, it's interesting to note that Six's shadow at the very end resembles that of a Nome. While it might be simply because of lighting and angles, it might very well mean something. The fact that you can hear her stomach grumbling is also be something worth looking in to.

But what if the reason for her immense all-consuming hunger, is because glitch Six is her soul, and because Six doesn't have her soul in her body, she feels an emptiness which manifests in unending hunger.

Supported by her gaining The Lady's powers. Six doesn't have those powers, but she gained them through absorbing the soul of The Lady. Shadow Six, meanwhile, is probably what good was left in Six but they're permanently split up unless someone else like Mono comes along.

in the school when you save her from those idiot bullies, and as Mono helps Six up- is when they started bonding. Then another thing I discovered- whenever you and Six run from the breaking building and get crushed, Six will immediately run back to you to try to help but obviously you’re dead lol. And the last TV you enter before you meet Thin man face to face. When Six pulls you out of the TV she gets concerned and checks if you’re okay, and as Mono gets up she still acts concerned for him and not Thin man. Back to the crushing building part, after you pull Six out of the mess they look eachother for a moment with a nice melody. So they were obviously bonding til the end.

well but you can also use those scene to show Six is not normal or slowly distrust Mono.
After got saved from the bully, she went and smashed one head in for revenge. Mono enter the TV and released him in the first place, so if Six manage to connect the dot, she will know he is the Thin Man and no longer want to trust him anymore, specially when he captured her, he just stay hiding in the bed, holding his hand.
So Six is never a good person, the only reason she come with Mono is because she need him to help her escape in the first place.
We also assume the Thin Man want to saved his younger self but we never see any adult behave normal in the game and Mono, who is stay in the tower for year, why would he be any different.
Seven: A friend or hates being alone and just wants company and to be happy and to make others happy.
Six: A greedy girl who only cares about her safety and health then was turned into the lady.
Mono: A boy who no matter what never gives up, he is good at parkour and a friendly person, he is good at teamwork and is determined to do what he sets of to do.
I do wonder if six let Mono drop because she was mad at him. Mono stares at the screen when the thin man was escaping but six wanted them to run. This lead to six being taken. And when mono found six in the signal tower, she was quite contempt with her music box, which Mono then smashed. In Six's eyes, Mono was constantly putting her in danger. We know six is twisted from her breaking fingers in hospital, so its no surprise when she betrayed Mono

As I comeback to this video if thin man is Mono that’s how thin man is able to travel threw. TVs like mono because he is mono or he is just glitching in and out of existence.
Actually, it's implied Six did care about Mono... Only, when Shadow Six (her soul) was removed from her body, any positive feelings she had towards Mono went with Shadow Six. Shadow Six's only role in this game is her trying to help Mono escape from the Thin Man, she's still protecting her friend. Meanwhile, when Six let Mono fall... She was still a soulless body, and Shadow Six can't do anything except watch as her now soulless body tries to the void where its soul used to be. Based on how Shadow Six was actively trying to help Mono, I think that part of Six actually did care about him.
My theory of the secret ending is that the glitch version of six is the good one
Why? Because in little nightmares 1 (the gnome eating scene) on the table the glitch 6 is there watching from a far never interacting with her just popping up from time to time watch as the radio tower takes control as good 6 watch's knowing her body's doomed

Anyone else notice that the light in the ending (where mono grows up to be the thin man) changes colour every time it cuts back? It started out from bright pink to purple to blue. Im not sure if this is just for artistic purposes or if theres any meaning behind it. Still looks cool though.
My personal theory is basically that the color change shows how the tower controls the world over time.
The fist color is basically when the tower was barely built, then after time the LN world slowly gets corrupted until it's the world we saw as Mono, considering the last color looks like the TV ones we see.
Guys don’t forget that whenever Six eats in the Maw, Shadow Six can be seen.
I have a theory about the reason Six let go, I don't think anyone commented about it, so I'll just do it:
One of the obvious reasons is breaking the music box, as she shows great comfort when around it, such as while trapped in the hunters house, it was her only comfort, and during the ending, she shows great comfort around it while everything around her is twisted and stuff, and when she lets go, she hums the tune showing importance.
Also during the first game, she hums the tune during hunger, as she wants comfort, so she hums it, and during the ending, she hums the tune to show confidence as she kills all of the guests.
The second reason is why I do not feel bad for Mono, now if Thin Man is Mono, and Shadow Six is the good Six, which Thin Man separated her from, it means she is evil, but isn't Mono Thin Man?!?! Doesn't that mean MONO separated from her soul?!?! If he just accepted his fate, he would break the time loop, he was literally trapped there for over FORTY YEARS, couldn't he AT LEAST figured out if he does not separate her from her soul, they would continue the journey with Mono, but the question now is, how did the very first Thin Man become Thin Man?
Was someone before him in the signal tower, who wanted to be free, then took Mono to become Thin Man and Six to continue alone?
But then why did the first Thin Man separate her from her soul?
I only feel bad for Mono because he was a victim of himself.
I'm seeing all these theories that Six meant to drop Mono so she wouldn't eat him. I think those are amazing as she tries to protect mono the best way she can. I do want to add something that maybe the game didn't show the player, what if she was watching herself turn into that monster as mono tried to destroy the music box. She saw her monstrous form just protecting the music box & she was constantly fighting to try & take control, I think this is somewhat proven when you first mean Monster Six as Mono as you call out to her & Monster Six is following you not harming you at all. When Mono first damaged the Music box, Something awoke in Monster Six thus forcing Sane Six to lose control completely & just watches the whole fight hoping mono to win. When Monster Six turns into Normal Six, Six herself kept having some kind of thoughts of hunger especially when the Thin Man(Mono) pulled six's soul out of her body. When they got to the final bridge to the exit of the tower, Six possibly knew she won't be able to stay in control forever due to the hunger & whatever the Tower did to six so instead of pulling him up, again knowing she can't hold control over the "Hunger" she dropped him letting him fall on the flesh. As shown in the Tower by the flesh, there must be a controller to the tower as you need someone as the leader or hierarchy to take over the world, this is shown not only in "The Maw" but in Pale City as well with the mannequins & the faceless "Viewers".
TL;DR: Six was fighting the tower to take control of her body & eventually lost by the time they got to the exit. Whatever is in her body now is up to the people to make their own theories.
This is my theory to add onto six trying to protect mono the best she could.

You know, I’m starting to think this is a prequel to the first little nightmare because of the last scene. If you remember, Superhorrorbro had did a video where it showed a evil six in the background while she’ll eat something (someone). I’m not quite sure why the glitch watches, but it’s important. Also it shows that the developers already knew they were making a second game and have storyline planned.
Here's a theory I have: Shadow Six (the one that watches) IS Six's soul. Meaning the Six who drops Mono is literally a soulless husk of the person she was because of the Thin Man. That's why she dropped Mono, because whatever positive feeling she had towards him were left in Shadow Six (who tried to guide him when the Thin Man was chasing him), but her body, lacking a soul, couldn't care less about her former friend. It's also why she's perpetually hungry in LN1, she's probably trying to fill the void the Thin Man left in her by eating other souls (like the Gnome and the Lady's).
I think I figured it out, its a sequel to the mobile game so it goes mobile game LN2 Ln1. that is the only set the dev isnt lieing

Can I just say that after Six gets taken by the tall thin man we see the glitching remains of them, and then we figure out that all the other glitchy remains were other kids who got caught. A detail some miss is that when Mono collects a glitched remain we hear a version of the sound effect that plays when the player gets caught. Pretty sure everyone noticed it but didn’t really acknowledge it thats it’s a sound effect that plays when caught

That ending had me with the theory, the reason six is hungry is because she's empty, she needs to fill that void that caused her by separating her soul and being known as shadow six. That's what I think 🤔

This would mean that six wanted to avoid having this angula fate,Repeating her entire journey again to make a change and not "suffer" her destiny . In thinman's first appearance, she makes a gesture that would be interpreted as she wanted mono to be carried instead of her, but seeing that the thin man didn't do anything as she want, six panicked and started running. Causing the end again and again

Actually, it's implied Shadow Six is the remnants of Six's soul. Before then, she seemed to actually care about Mono... And Shadow Six (who is likely her soul) did try to guide Mono to safety when he was being chased by The Thin Man. Thing is, they never remerged, so the Six in the ending of LN2 and the duration of LN1 legit has no soul inside of her. I think the reason she ate the Gnome was because, having no soul, she was trying to fill the void left by the Thin Man ripping her spirit out of her body in some attempt to absorb another soul... She does eventually absorb The Lady's, explaining why she gained her powers.

I like to imagine that maybe Six's soul stayed with Mono after the secret ending. In his story theory, the reason why Six was always hunger was because she was taking the life force of other creatures to try and replace her soul but it's only temporary so maybe her soul stayed with him (but the glitch six appeared in the first game so it's highly unlikely that her soul stayed with Mono, at least for a little while)

no, if you notice throughout the game six doesn't seem to experience any hunger cramps they only seem to manifest after her escape from the tower. Her hunger is hinted to be a result of her self splitting in 2 as a result of her kidnapping. The thing is throughout the game we notice certain moments where six displays certain cruel or sadistic tendencies like breaking apart fingers in the hospital, strangeling a bully to death, warming herself by the fire as the doctor is burned alive and then there is the whole encounter in the tower. I think six is a very vengeful type a person and might even felt betrayed by mono for being allowed to be kidnapped in the first place

So a little theory here, at the end of LN1 (either the main game or the DLC) you see Mono (Thin Man) appear on the same screen through which Six escaped. Knowing that after LN2, Six (and her dark side) travelled to the Maw, it could be possible that Mono, bent by revenge, will eventually follow her there through the transmissions. The one thing that might make this impossible is that I don’t remember seeing many TV’s on the Maw (other than Roger’s, who ironically was also mesmerized by the TV when Six turned it on). Another problem would depend on whether or not Six actually steals or just copies the abilities of others, meaning that if she stole Mono’s abilities then he would be unable to broadcast anymore, but this would end the time loop (due to him being unable to leave and re-enter televisions). One last thing: upon reading some interesting comments I like the idea of another kid (maybe Seven or something) ending the loop and saving everyone from their cruel fate. What if this is true, and this kid (Seven) is the same kid who gives Six bread on the Maw when she got hungry for the first time? Just a thought, sorry it’s a long one 😂
Why did six betray mono? well. First of all the game starts with mono breaking a door where six was calm with a music box in a house. Idk you but if I were six I would be scared asf. She runs and gets obligated to cooperate with mono to escape the house where she was trapped (she didn't have any other way to escape). They escape and help each other though the "friendship" they have is not really comfortable, since six doesn't trust completely mono. When she gets trapped in the school and mono gets there to help six, she finally trusts mono and she isn't scared of him anymore (some body signals can give you the hint). The thing is, when mono tries to get in the tv's to travel to his dream where he has to open a door, he always gets out of there by six, since she wants to help him not be trapped. Then mono gets to a second tv and wants to get into the tv again. Guess what, six helps him again, but this time (you can check a video if you want), after helping him she kinda moves out of his way. She's starting to not trust mono again. They keep on going and the third time mono gets to a tv he liberates thin man, which obviously is mono but in his adult form. Thinman gets out of the tv and he chases six and mono. Thinman captures six and mono doesn't do anything... he just stays under the bed... saving his life and betraying six. Ok so what thinman does now is hey. The lil' mono is myself as a kid and I want him to liberate me. It's what the adult mono was searching his whole life. Himself. He tricks mono by letting six be in the tv asking for help to mono but he gets six out of the way and gets out the tv to chase the lil' mono. Mono escapes and separates the train which is a metaphor of mono not following the path of his adult form. When mono gets to the tower (with the pink/purple portals and stuff) he finds six which was trapped there with her beautiful memories. Such as the music box AND the box she was trapped in the first game. When mono liberates six from that trance/dream she is in that moment. Six becomes normal again and stays in a pose of anger. She's preparing to fight mono because mono got her out of her perfect dream. A dream where she could be calm with her music box. Suddenly the tower gets mad because it doesn't have a recipent anymore (The whole flesh thing in the ending). Guess what. When mono jumps and six grabs his hand. Six gets to see the face of mono for the first time (mono got his mask off in the battle with himself). She sees the face of thinman. The one who trapped her and tortured her. Guess six isn't that bad at all.
While viewing the art book, I always knew the thinman has something in relation with mono but I didn't think it was real and now I know what happened.
Well now we know how Six discovered the Maw.

Six wasn't getting hungry at all throughout the whole of the game, so i'm thinking it was a side effect of her change in the tower. might be a bit of a stretch but with how she acted when hungry in the maw, compared to how she acts in this game, feels like she's a completely different person. She got her normal body back after mono destroyed her music box, but kept a potential insatiable hunger she had whilst she was deformed. I really wanted to believe in the theory that six let go of mono so she doesn't "eat him", but i just think there's more logic that she had just formed her new hunger rather than coincidentally got hungry right at the end when she was holding on to him.
If you pay attention to the secret ending, six shadow glitch thing looks at a maw poster that might be advertising a restaurant then six gets hungry and then she travels there and that’s how the games are connected,there are still gaps which are probably findable but I’m to tired to look :)

Maybe the Glitch at the end resembles the good side of six and when it disappeared has six basically killed he's good self. Because of the glich of six helps Momo to defeat the "long man". The Glitch was at little nightmares one too and helped six to eat. So the, let's call him "Glitch six" is the good part of six and when it's out of six's body her evil part takes control. That would explain why six eat the gnome at little Nightmare one. And maybe Glitch six can't go in the "other world" because there wasn't even one glitch in the chapter where he Momo was in the House. And because of that she was separated from six's Body and because of that six's evil side can take control of six body. So that means that every time where six helped us Glitch six was in the Body and had the control of Six. And because six's evil side was in the body and taked the Power of Momo who can make the Gliches disappear and going trough tvs she killed Glitch six so she can have the full control of the six's body.

Yep, Shadow Six... Despite appearing to be made up of darkness, never does anything overtly malicious in the series. The one time she does anything, she's actively trying to help her friend escape from the Thin Man.
What I thought was six dropped mono in the end because she didn't want to eat him like you can see in the first game she will eat the first thing she will she and shadow six appears hen she killed/ate something so maybe she did not want to kill mono that's why she dropped him PS I not sure I'm just guessing

So it is a prequel after all, while also being a sequel. After Six abandons Mono in the tower, she sees the poster of the Maw and plans to reach it (kicking of the events from the first game) to still her hunger (which she probably received after turning into a monster). „Glitch Six“ can also be found in Little Nightmares 1. And when she escapes from the Maw again, she‘ll meet Mono, who will release is past/future self the Thin Man, who attempts to kidnap Six so his past-self will never be betrayed and trapped in the tower (kicking of the events of the second game) but will eventually fail and the younger Mono will be trapped again, creating an endless Paradox.
After Six comes out of the TV in the secret ending, she seems to wrap her arms around herself. At first I thought her hunger was starting to act up, but later when her stomach growls, she seems to let go in surprise, when usually she would clutch her stomach whenever that would happen.
I don't know if that has any meaning at all, or if that's even what she's doing. I guess I want to think she was hugging herself because she was upset for having let Mono fall :(
I really hope we get an explanation for Six's actions throughout these games, even if a somehow vague one. I know that the world of Little Nightmares is meant to be confusing, but they do seem to want to give some sort of sense to the kids trying to survive in it. It would be a shame if they just made confusing and ambiguous stories for the sake of keeping a captive audience trying to theorize what's happening based on what they have and eventually come up with some in-universe excuse when things inevitably start to not add up anymore (like the parts not adding up taking place in a parallel universe or something). Gravity Falls managed to leave tons of things up for interpretation and keep us theorizing even after its ending and still wrap up most if not all of its main plot points, so it can be done, and I hope that's also the case for Little Nightmares, if only regarding Six's story at least.

I think it's actually _both;_ we know Very Little Nightmares is a _prequel_ and is 100% confirmed to take place _before_ the first Little Nightmares. However, we _also know_ that Little Nightmares 2 is a _sequel_ and takes place _AFTER_ the first game. The timeline is *Very Little Nightmares (with Six and Raincoat Girl) --> Little Nightmares (with Six and Runaway Kid and the comics) --> Little Nightmares 2 (with Six and Mono).*
*_Here's my timeline theory:_* Six _originally_ gets her raincoat from the Girl in the Yellow Raincoat who died with The Pretender after falling off a cliff (we know because although the Girl doesn't float back up, her raincoat does and we see Six climb down the cliff to the water where it's floating, and we know Raincoat Girl =/= Six because Six never had the girl's long braids we see as she fell). From there, the comics show how Six left The Nest and found herself in the Mainland city. However, there's one thing Six didn't know; the identity of the Raincoat Girl. See, there's a theory claiming that while Six isn't The Lady's daughter (confirmed by the devs), the Raincoat Girl from VLN _IS_ The Lady's daughter, and the two look very much alike when they wear the yellow coat (again, it was only confirmed that Six =/= Raincoat Girl because the Girl has a long hair braid Six doesn't have, but that braid is only visible when the hood comes off like when she tragically fell to her death).
Because of this, the teleporting Ferryman finds Six in the Mainland and mistakes her for the Raincoat Girl and takes her to The Maw. However, the monsters at The Maw discover that Six _isn't_ their boss' child and instead throw her down to The Prison where the events of the first game take place; Six sneaks her way past The Janitor, Chefs, Guests and defeats The Lady to escape. The reason Six is so cold and even cruel in LN1 is because her failure to save Raincoat Girl caused her to think she couldn't save anyone and had no choice but to look after herself and _only_ herself. After leaving The Maw, she hitches a ride on a ship to the Pale City. Once there, however, the newfound power she gained from eating The Lady was suppressed by The Signal Tower which sensed the threat of Six's power, leaving her vulnerable to the traps of The Hunter, an insane wilderness man obsessed with the concept of family (after losing his own family, which explains the stuffed family sat at The Hunter's table, similar to how The Neighbor from Hello Neighbor placed mannequins around his house to remind him of the family he tragically lost).
When Six was captured by The Hunter, he removed her raincoat and instead forced her to wear an ordinary dress and placed her in her own room with a music box, possibly hoping to keep her as his newly-adopted daughter (again, because he was driven insane by the loss of his own spouse and children). Not too long after this, though, Mono enters the picture and selflessly helps her to escape and take down The Hunter, kicking off the events of the sequel where she helps Mono get to the Signal Tower and free the Pale City while her power. _Along the way, Six gets _*_another_*_ raincoat_ in the dirty streets of the Pale City, to remind her of the girl who saved her in the past while still progressing onwards with Mono. Unfortunately for the newly-made friends, however, the Signal Tower's secret weapon and strongest phantom-esque guardian - _The Thin Man_ - turns out to be Mono's future self, and kidnaps Six first to stop his child self from throwing his life away as The Signal Tower's puppet. Tragically, Mono _doesn't_ give up. While he's busy getting to the Signal Tower and squaring off with The Thin Man, Six figures out that Mono will grow up to become the Thin Man and The Signal Tower's slave guardian. Realizing that her new best friend is doomed and remembering how she previously failed to save her previous ally - Raincoat Girl - Six decides to leave Mono to his fate after he saves her again, haunted by her failure to save the Raincoat Girl and further sorrowful that she couldn't stop Mono from becoming the Signal Tower's slave as well as not being able to trust herself _not_ to devour her friend once her stomach started demanding food again (which, sure enough, happens once she escapes the Signal Tower).
Thus, Six survives... but does so carrying the guilt that _twice_ now she couldn't save her saviors from their fates (Raincoat Girl's fall and Mono's future as The Thin Man) along with still being an ever-starving child who will endanger any potential friends she meets. For anyone angry that Six lives while the other children heroes of the franchise (Raincoat Girl, Runaway Kid, Mono) didn't... it's likely that, at least deep down, she wished she hadn't.

My Theory is that Six let go of Mono because at that last moment, she was able to see his face clearly, she must've seen a resemblance to The Thin Man and connected the dots that somehow, Mono would grow up to be The Thin Man, the one she thinks is the one behind the signal tower's corruption and the one who's out to get her for whatever reason, she might have thought that letting him die would put an end to the signal tower's corruption. Though she probably didn't realize that her betraying him would be the exact situation that triggers this time paradox, Mono just thinks that Six betrayed him and after all those years, as The Thin Man, tries to save his younger self from six who he thinks is just evil. Afterwards, Six emerges from the TV and her "shadow/glitch" self makes it's appearance for the first time, this could be a side effect from having been warped by the signal tower. I don't think Six let go of Mono to save him from herself since her stomach growls for the first time after she emerges from the TV. Her shadow self then gives her the idea to go to The Maw, where there is a lot of food (meat) I think there's always been something "off" about Six, I don't know if it's as simple as her just being evil, but she for sure has always been off. I think her time being warped in the signal tower exacerbated that and she left that place more unhinged than she was before, leading to her eventually eating that Gnome from the first game and consuming the souls of the guests in The Maw after eating The Lady and taking her powers.
Here’s what I’m hoping a possible third game would be: Six is being hunted by Mono now the Thin Man and the game’s ultimate antagonist, the creature whose face we kept seeing in paintings throughout the game. Even though she has the powers of the Dark Lady the world is still very dangerous to her. She has run ins with the Thin Man but doesn’t hurt him because of who he use to be. At the end of the game Six saves Mono much like he did her, using her powers from the Dark Lady to “drain” the Thin Man’s life from Mono and returning him to normal. Then both face off together against the Creature and defeat it.
But I doubt that will happen.

She didn't have the hunger at that point. Plus, as this is a prequel to the first Little Nightmares she wouldn't have known she would eat anyone.
I feel like she knew that Mono would become the thin man because she spent so long in the tower and because she touched his hand at the end there, otherwise she would have kept running and not caught him only to let him fall anyway.
I have a theory that is believed the best one: This loop is created by both the Six and Mono actions. Because The Six betrayed Mono in the end, he became the Thin Man. However, the secret ending shows that she lost part of her soul (the glitched one) and became a hungry monster because of the Thin Man ability (when he takes her away). If she wasn't caught by the Thin Man, none of this would happen.
The chef you see in the cafeteria was actually supposed to be a boss that you had to sneak past but the creators scrapped it so last minute that since they already had the model, they decided to use it as a prop instead

Some people are making Mono appears like a weak boi. Mono is one strong kid, and Shadow Six knows that. So, I think Shadow Six does not drop/abandon him because kind Six is scared she(SS) will use him to satiate her hunger. Rather Shadow Six drops him to the abyss because she knows Mono is another threat like Thin-man. She only uses Mono to end Thin-man’s reign; and Mono, who has the same ability as Thin-man’s, is another threat to her. Maybe she’s paranoid that Mono may go against her in the future, so it’s better to just let him meet his demise early and before her fear occurs. However, Shadow Six has no idea that Mono is the Blob thing’s host all along. Both The Transmission(who ever created it) and the blob thing are aware of Mono’s ability to reshape and warp reality. They know his power can be used to corrupt the signal(the broadcast), and so the TV programs; thus, distorting and hypnotizing the appearance and mental state of who gets exposed to the programs. Also unbeknownst to Shadow Six, her betrayal leads the depressed and enraged Mono to start a time paradox.
And Mono could have closed the portal so Six would be trapped with him forever in the signal tower, but, man, the best boi didn’t. He let himself, alone, be trapped by the blob thing. He still cares for Six -his only friend- even after her betrayal(which he thinks is betrayal since he has no idea it was the shadow six).
What I think about the hunger theory is: After Six catches Mono’s hand, the shadow Six begins whispering to Kind Six’s subconsciousness that if she eats him, she can achieve his power and no one will be able to wrong them anymore. So, due to fear, kind six let go of Mono’s hand and let him fall instead. Whether she knows he’ll survive or not, i don’t know. (But the scene really looks like as if Six’s really intended to let Mono fall, she doesn’t even look remotely in deep sorrow or regret. So, I think it’s the shadow six all along.)
I wonder, did Six's hunger come from her time in the Signal tower? if so, then Mono is the reason for his own suffering, Six saves Mono whenever he is entranced by the TV, and Six hesitates in dropping him. But something interesting is that Six wasn't killed by the Thin man like like every other adult, my thoughts on this is that Mono, despite being the thin man, still wants his friend with him which is why he grabs her first and then him, because he already knew where Mono was hiding (being the thin man himself) but instead went after Six, and didn't kill her despite knowing of the betrayal to happen. Mono is caught in a cycle that only he can end, but he's trapped by the promises from the Broadcast that he won't be alone for eternity. In reality he'll be alone until his past self frees and kills him. A sad ending. A great ending, but I wish it was different.

It’s really sad if you think about she didn’t want to hurt her new friend so she made a choice to let her friend live but, that choice came with a consequence if we do get a dlc for this it will probably be mono breaking the cycle or six trying to go back for mono

Actually come to think of it, I kept having a nagging feeling that six wasn't six, because I keep telling myself why isn't she hungry, because if she was this is still a continuatio from little nightmares 1
But in fact this is where it all began, because the scene where her stomach growled tells me that it's a bit of a story on six's part, through the journey with mono, six never trusted mono and I hate to say this but she used him ACK my heart, cause her fate was that she became the the iconic six we know and love but in order to do that she had no choice but to lose a friend, now I know what I said was strange but I'll finish first my theory, maybe she wanted to use mono's powers so that she can survive this world maybe she did consider mono a friend but I think after that music broken thing I think we know how this ends

But I really wanted six hug mono knowing he was there for her, even though I know a bit of a reason why she betrayed him, i still want to know why would she betray mono, well it did say that part of the game is about trust but whyyyyyy

Here's a theory I have: Shadow Six IS Six's soul. Meaning the Six who drops Mono is literally a soulless husk of the person she was because of the Thin Man. That's why she dropped Mono, because whatever positive feeling she had towards him were left in Shadow Six (who tried to guide him when the Thin Man was chasing him), but her body, lacking a soul, couldn't care less about her former friend. It's also why she's perpetually hungry in LN1, she's probably trying to fill the void the Thin Man left in her by eating other souls (like the Gnome and the Lady's).
@@ponderer1315 shiiiiiit that's dark but actually you have good thinking there cause cause come to think of it I kept thinking it might be possibly canon, cause at first we don't usually see the gnomes even though one part of the game shows where they are, when you're trying to get a hat from them which is the gnome hat, sure we see six scared at first, but, we do know six would love to hug a gnome, but, LN2 whenever we see her witness mono consume a glitch soul she can't give a reaction she looks lifeless, the only thing she has is fear and the one instinct every human has is just survive, your theory could be possibly true ^^

The glitching remain next to the tricycle is the kid with the lollipop, because its thrown off the rooftop in his comic.

Because if little nightmares 2 is a prequel then when six gets to the maw and finds the "hanging man" and in one of mikes vids he said that the thin man is the hanging man and mono is the thin man so mono tried to "end the cycle of him becoming the thin man" he tried to end his life but the real thing is did it end the cycle
Btw the cycle thing is a thought i had that mono just keeps going through that "life" a bit like in batim in mikes vid he says that henry just lives his "life" over and over
