I run these currently, the noise doesn’t bother me or doesn’t seem loud. Had balancing beads and they did not do the trick vibration at 70-80. Had to use weights and that solved that issue. Pretty happy with these tires after the balancing issue.

I have a set of these in 37". They do really well in soft sand too. Took my 87 toyota up deep sand and very large dunes in glamis. Aired down to 8psi, never got stuck.

My first set of Mickeys These have the aggressive look of a mud terrain and the durability of the all terrain. I'm really looking forward to how long they will last.

I had the MTZ years ago and the tires i had were pretty quiet compared to other M/T tires. So unless the p3's are louder , i never had those ones. What's the noise comparison on both types ?

I live in Tucson and wheel all the good trails. I'm debating between these, KM3s and STT pros.

what pressure do you rrecommend running these? I'm currently running at 38PSI the whole car vibrates (just had the wheel balanced so that cant be the issue) and avery rough onroad

What about wet pavement? From 1-10 score?
    (10 being the best score)

I have them on a jeep. And in the rain heavy puddle are sketchy. I hit puddles at 40mph and you can feel the jeep shift left or right. But they are great off road and not as noisy as i expected on pavement.

How are the MT ATZs? I wanted to get the MTZs, and even though I personally love tire noise, I got the vibe that it’s borderline unbearable. Obviously the MTZs are better for off-road, but would you say that the ATZs are decently comparable to their off-road focused counterparts?

I like the Mickey Thompson ATZ's and if the Raptor was my truck I would choose the ATZ over the MTZ for it. You definitely sacrifice some traction in deep mud and snow by running an all-terrain instead of a mud-terrain, but you gain on road comfort. I think the ATZ's capability is still very good and combined with an already capable 4wd truck there isn't much you'd have to worry about.

Do you need bead locking wheels for these?

Are these as loud as Mud Grapplers?

No way.mud grapplers are loudest tire ever. My brother has mtz and they really are not loud like you might expect.

Fixing Things and Fishing Yeah my Mud Grapplers are driving me nuts. Got them up for sale. Not worth the 20% off-roading I do!

@@supporterofsanity great day! 20 % i would put up with any noise if i could get out that much. Thats awesome you can do that. My off road truck is also my back up work vehicle so half the time its loaded with 2x4's instead of coolers! Fall and winter are about to cbange that im hoping.
