I had the privilege of getting to know Dr. John Moore personally. He was my pastor for many years and our entire family loved him. Such a godly man. He would sometimes step away from the pulpit, go to the piano right in the middle of his message. He would play and sing a hymn that fit perfectly with his message. I remember one time when I was asked to sing, my accompanist had left the room. Dr. Moore did not hesitate to walk over to the piano and accompany me so that I could sing my song. Such a humble and caring man.
And guess what, my church here in China is singing the translated version! Deeply amazing story and great words of salvation, all carried by the simplest tones! Thanks brother

I met Pastor John Moore when I was in Arbroath Town Mission, a man of God. Yes, we sung that song and he told me how he was able to write that song.
