Everything is so perfectly done in this OST the lyrics that capture the essence of journey of Mhok and Day especially the clips of Mhok and Day that goes well with the song. William sings so brilliantly with amazing vocals that I feel emotionally attached to the song that i played 10x already when it released and cried this is my most favorite song of the series bravo 👏👏👏❤
the fact that no matter good and sensational the song i hear, just reading the words in english makes me feel that Day is feeling nostalgic. 😭😭 please don't make Mhok die coz the wordings really convey that meaning. it's a glaring red flag for me or maybe i'm just getting ahead of myself. 😭😭

Not even close to the first one. There are some pretty famous BLs with very unhappy endings for the main couple, mostly from Japan (where BL originated, and where early series were often quite dark), but also from Taiwan. Thailand is included too-I stopped watching BL for a couple years after watching a Thai BL a few years ago that had a very sad ending for the main leads.
@@UnclGee A director is not the same thing as a writer, so I don't think Khun Aof has anything to do with it. Also, few major BL series are written from whole cloth for television at this point, particularly in Thailand. My working assumption is that Last Twilight is being adapted from a Thai Y novel, which would mean that Khun Aof would likely exert even less influence over the story. (Not to say that there's no history of Y novel plots being changed during adaptation; both He's Coming to Me and My School President had major plot changes between the novel and the series. But I don't have any evidence that that's the norm and I have no idea who made those decisions on those series.) Also, I don't think Khun Aof's sexuality matters to whatever his taste in tragedy might be. Western LGBT+ media tends to be much less fluffy than Eastern LGBT+ media, despite having a much higher tendency to be written and steered by LGBT+ people. It's one of the reasons I watch BL---straight women ironically tend to be much nicer to gay characters than gay men.
