Appreciate your time and efforts, but the volume is too low... Even with my PC's volume and UA-cam's volume turned to max..
Did you try on some alternatives to check volume issue?
@@EMultiSkillsDatabaseServices tried on tv, headphones... Tv is bit louder obviously.. But yes it is comparitively low than other videos.

Well I am not able to get the same as your result against the system ctl status , as my PID dont show postmaster it shows as : Main PID: 11821 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Also the Cgroups are not visisble, that may be because i am using WSL
Very good presentation. Got question about starting service. In section Postgres cluster I see different commands for starting service.
postgres -D /postgres/data/instance2
Or
pg_ctl -D /postgres/data/instance2 -l log file start
And then in the beginning section I saw
systemctl start postgresql12
What’s the difference? Can’t we use systemctl for starting instance2?
For one cluster systemctl is good for more than one cluster you have to use pgctl only

Hi Sir, I have a question , in my aws RDS postgresql database, when i check the long running sessions using pg_stat_activity, there are many pg_catalog table select queries are in idle statement for days under multiple DB user sessions, . But these SQLs are not explicitly ran by the DB user. Could you please advise why these queries are idle for days?
Ex select oid, pg_catalog.format_type(oid, NULL) as typename from pg_catalog.pg_type where oid in (23, 23, 1042, 1042, 23) order by oid.
