This video was filmed on January 29th, 2025.
It's cold so the Momotaro family returns to their room after breakfast.
Momotaro and Gentaro were in separate rooms, but after a while Gentaro came outside alone.
Gentaro sat on a blanket laid out on top of the heated floor.
It must have been comfortable for him, as Gentaro dozed off while still sitting.
It was cold outside, but looking at Gentaro's cute sleeping face made us feel warm.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(Born July 3, 2000)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(Born June 24, 1986)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(Born December 21, 2011)
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(Born December 19, 2018)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

I love all gorillas, but something about Gentaro's face and those eyes that makes him my favorite one of all. He knows how adorably handsome he is and turns on even more for the cameras.

Gentaro has a nice fluffy pelt.
Especially, around his face.
I would ❤ it if the zookeepers could put a full length mirror, so we could see their reactions at looking at themselves in it.
Gentero needs a soft bed to sleep 😴 on. Can the zoo at least do this for him ? He's a spectacular looking gorilla. He deserves a larger habitat 🎉

Why isn't their habitat more lush with grasses and bushes. This areas looks decrepit. This is not a good habitat look at the zoo in taipei.
