I enjoyed watching you and Summer trying advanced yoga poses. Reminded me of doing gymnastics with my daughters when they were still smaller than me. Hint on the pose where one person stands on the other's knees with hands clasped between them. Start both of you standing up. and the supporter facing the supported's back. Clasp hands. Supported puts one foot on the supporter's knee, get that steady, give a little jump and put the other foot up on the supporter's other knee. Meanwhile the supporter boosts with the hands, and leans back. It takes some practice so you are both doing stuff at the same time. We started that on in the swimming pool so it didn't hurt when we fell over. The double X pose starts by putting your hands together, straight up, not crossed yet, and putting your feet together straight. Then, slowly, slowly, you spread your feet apart, and cross your hands. Daughters and I never tried that pose. Gymnastic poses and yoga poses share a lot; strength, flexibility, coordination, teamwork.

I am not a bendy guy, but at the time we were in pretty good shape. (Before kids) Hooo, boy. I thought it was just a bunch of people with silly mats listening to calm music while the "instructor" spoke in tones like from NPR radio. I have never been more sore than after that first day. Then I learned about HOT YOGA. That was even WORSE! But my wife got a good chuckle out of all the times I was swearing like Fred Flintstone.
