  • Here is a basic sensitivity test comparing a range of pinpointers, the purpose is to find out which is the most sensitive to small targets. The lead pellets towards the end of the video are the really telling indicator of sensitivity.

Приятно, что Российский продукт оценили по достоинству за рубежом!

To bad they cant be bought locally. I'm using a DetectorPro Land Or Sea PinPointer which is useless in sub gram targets but is reliable. The sphinx 03 seems to work well.

@@phrunt ~Do you know if the Sphinx 03 “interferes with” the Minelab GPX or GPZ metal detectors audio.??
~There is an innovative pinpointer maker SphinxMD from Russia and they have released the mother of all pinpointers called in the Sphinx 03. The problem for us in the USA and the West is our sanctions make doing business cost prohibitive.
~Very comparable to the Garrett ProPointer AT. This is good for a pinpointer boasting a discrimination feature, because discrimination costs a little depth and so to still be as deep as other leading pinpointers is a plus. >>>Where this Sphinx 03 pinpointer begins to walk away from others as better is in its sensitivity to sub-gram and micro jewelry

@@royjohnson465 I haven't tested it with my GPX 5000/6000 or GPZ yet, I will do that soon, the weather has not been ideal at the moment.

@@phrunt ~Okay! Maybe let us know if it “interferes” with a metal detector ‘or’ not.

Cool video, I was watching it and decided to try the Dr. Otek they had a special sale on the release and I got 6 cm on a coin so it's a good back up but I have to have the metal detector away from the Otek or it freaks out lol Nice showing of the pinpointers

Sorry, I have no idea, I don't think you can, they're made in Russia and sanctions mean they can't get them out of the country so I think they're only available to people in Russia and surrounding countries, I was lucky I had a friend in that part of the world that was able to buy it on my behalf and ship it to me from a non-sanctioned country.

Sphinx 03, F-Pulse and Pulse Dive are the deepest overall. TRX isn't as deep as them.

@@Tesorosaprofunidad The Sphinx is really good, but the performance difference between the best pinpointers is so small its not really worth the effort unless you really wanted it.
