I love how Ted is basically those people who think Disney is just for kids and adults who like it are weird XD Accepting others' interests definitely makes it easier to find your happily ever after hehe
AGREED! Also, Merida definitely needs more love. I think she has one of the most unique princess stories and she was actually the first Disney Princess that didn't end up in some sort of romantic relationship by the end of the movie. Instead, her story promoted the love between a mother and her daughter/love of family, deciding your own path and realizing you need to fix your mistakes. Though maybe her movie just gets more appreciated by older children, teenagers, and adults. Children often pick the sparkly dresses, catchy pop-songs and talking animals over all else. I do find it funny how Frozen is about the love between sisters and heavily promotes that but Brave is promoting the love of family, which is the entire package. Not only does it show the love between Merida and her mother a lot but also between her and her father, the love between her parents and the love between Merida and her little brothers. Sorry for my rant. I'm very pissed about how much she gets skipped despite being on the official Disney Princess list.
I never thought of Belle as sassy...Tiana fits more the description of sassy tbh. I'd characterize Belle in the animation as being more clever/intelligent, confident, kind, vibrant, strong-willed, and protecting. Yeah, she's a critical thinker, and knows how to tell-it-like-it-is. But does so in a way that non-condescendingly expresses the truth, and to stick up for what's right in an honest, ernest manner. I wish I saw more of the animated Belle's vibrancy in the Belle shown in this video, more so than the monotoned sass I saw.
I love how the theme of the song shifted. It started with talking about getting your happily ever after with a partner, then became a song about finding a happily ever after with yourself, such as following your dreams (Moana) or your passion (Belle) or even finding it with a sibling (Elsa and Anna)
I never thought about what I wanted to do with my life before, besides asking Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life as my savior and my lord and became a Christian. But ever since I started writing my first story when my family and I lived in Greensboro Maryland, I felt like everything had clicked for me once I started to write the first page and that led to more pages and before I knew it, I got hooked and I was having so much fun that I didn't want to stop writing. That's when I realized that I had found my passion and now I feel like I know that I want to be a writer more than anything else. I also really love to read a lot, too. So I feel like I have a really deep connection with Belle not only because she likes to read a lot but also because she's from a small town like I am. I think that's really cool.Of all the Disney princesses there is,Belle is definitely my favorite.❤❤❤❤❤
Belle: Happily Never After. Just read it. I found it to be one sided, absurd, mean spirited, repetitive, and.. juvenile! Ted: Really? What do you know about books? Belle: *would you like to see my library..?* DAAAAAAAMN
+kirah grace. Me after Belle describing the stupid, dumb, retarded and Imbecile book: Those are also the very exact words you can describe The Dufus Author Of This stupid, dumb, retarded and Imbecile book. Me After Belle asked, "Would you like to see my library?": Get him, Belle. Teach this bum that he can never disrespect a Disney Princess. I can not believe this Imbecile would even dare disrespect anything that is Disney. He is going to Hell where he belongs. He do not care if he redeemed himself at the end of the episode. One, thing, you can definitely say, is that there is definitely not going to be a, "Happily Ever After," for him, which he disbelieved in the beginning, which he should have never disbelieved in the first place and he definitely should have never disrespected (like I initially said before) Disney. Oh, he will sure as hell will suffer. Long live Disney.
@@user-WanderingCloud the diffrence is belle sees through the beastly bullshit of a wounded man who thinks no one will ever love him on a daily basis. This one just doesnt have horns.
Those who read indiscriminately generally are not great critiquers. The Disney version of Belle had read about four books in her life on repeat (reading your favorite book 3 or 4 times is pretty pathetic, imo. I mean, you had practically nothing else to read, and you read it only three times? Seriously, girl doesn't read much), liked the cheesy romance, and then got access to a giant library which she may or may not have read anything in. So no, I wouldn't count on her opinion.
I love how they added Elsa, Merida, and Moana speaking up to assert that not ALL of them care about romance, and seem kind of annoyed with the other princesses’ obsession.
Elsa experienced love and joy through her sister, Sven and Kristof, however she found her love was protecting others and learning to respect others options even if they might be odd or unknown to her: Merida experienced love through her family, but knew she didn't need it even with hard work or just sitting there waiting for some prince to win her over. And Moana experienced love through her grandmother and parents, but her love for ⛵ sea-farring was the love her people lost now Renewed
Snow White deserves more credit, she was 14 in the movie. Of course she wouldn’t he very mature or independent. She’s a middle schooler raised in a castle, yet she still managed to make a life for herself. She’s an optimistic little kid
Elsa: "I know. That's why I'm applying ice to it." Elsa's hand: *resting on his forehead* Me: "Oh my god, that's clever! 😀" Also, totally lost it at the D23 line
I love appreciating things so here are some small things I noticed that I love so much about the video: - Cinderella sounding equally ENCHANTING, Charming and unrealistically light. But also sounding youthful and wise. Her face also looks like Cinderella who came to life! Her long eyelashes, those pearly whites along with her lip colour and the plump almond eyes. - I don't know how she does it but the actor of Snow White sound exactly like the original voice actor for the first animated movie, accent and everything!! - Belle's confident (almost to the point of condescending because she think she knows more than you do, which she probably does) but also being hilariously indifferent. Especially "To happily ever... After." That little face shrug she does as she turn back to her book is just everything - Merida being basically constantly angry because she doesn't want to be there, especially when she said "bETteR half!". Her accent is also on point as well - Jasmine's confident voice but also sounding like she still has her head in the clouds, which is on brand, I like it. - Pocahontas old soul aura and how the way she says everything even though it's just the lyrics sound like it could be etched into a fortune cookie - Tiana's accent, especially when she said "The shadow man could make it worse." and "What's wrong? Got a frog in your throat?" That sort of New Orleans accent has a soft spot in my heart. - Elsa's charming but still powerful voice and the cgi for her magic. The smokey eye make up also really makes her stand out. Her costume is like a very awesome and realistic cosplay that I expect out of a pro. - How Mulan is the one saying "Once upon a time is up to you", and "Find out where you belong" Because that's basically what she did in the first movie. And when she said "Love finds a way" that's basically the disaster of her second movie. - Anna's ridiculously chipper voice where she cuts the runs and as if she's talking instead of singing like she's still a child discovering the world is very on brand, I like it. - Aurora somehow looks like her original animation without it being too cringey or unrealistic. Also her face REALLY MATCHES Aurora's animation face! I mean I could have my eyes closed and listen to this and I could tell apart who is who. The voice acting is on point and these girls really put their all into bringing these princesses to life. Most of their voices are ridiculously distinctive, I might edit other things if I find more awesome little stuff to notice.
"I love appreciating things so here are some small things I noticed that I love so much about the video" I love appreciating things as well, so can I just say your own comment was so endearing. :>.
When you realize that Ralph breaks the internet put all these amazing characters who are known for their off the charts awesome singing voices and didn't give them a song.
But most of them saved the prince! Tiana saved the prince through a kiss to transform him from a frog to a human prince. Ariel saved the prince when the prince fell to the sea during a storm. Belle saved the prince through a kiss to transform him from a beast to a human prince. Jasmine saved Alladin at the flea market when Alladin was almost arrested. Mulan saved China. Rapunzel saved (forgot his name) when he almost died.
@@all_panic_and_no_disco She's my favourite princess too! She is so under-appreciated! Everyone forgot or disliked Brave, but it's one of my favourite movies! Merida is such a good character!
This was so fun and entertaining! I loved how you didn't make Aurora obsessed with sleeping (it was a sleeping curse, emphasis on the curse part, that was supposed to be a death curse until the fairies changed it) in this like she's commonly miss portrayed as. I also loved how you guys portrayed everyone else too, but especially Belle and Merida!!
Yes!! She was my favourite princess growing up and I found it really upsetting that she was portrayed as being sleepy rather than being normal (*cough* Shrek movies)
That's always a pet peeve of mine. And them getting the damn name wrong. She is not named Sleeping Beauty anymore than Ariel is named Little Mermaid. HER NAME IS AURORA!!!!
I love how these actresses actually almost sounded alike with the Princesses' actual voices although I find the actress' voice who acts as Ariel sounded alike with Mandy Moore's voice. And also Snow White is a perfect fit for the role
I kind of agree with Ted in the beginning with the news interview, that women shouldn't just be appealing to men, they should be equal and have a bigger role in society. Sure the princesses did save the princes a couple times and they've gone on adventures but, we need more then that! I also agree with a couple other statements as well
I'd like to expand on that... True love, as in two people meet each other, instantly are taken to each other, and marry each other within the course of a week: most likely nonexistent. True love, as in a person is willing to do what is best for the person he or she cares for to the point that the person would be willing to die for the other person: that love exists, and it has power.
Besides, to me every Princess is a good role model because, one way or the other, they all want something more than the world around them - they know there's more to life than the one they grew up in. Even if their ability to look beyond their surroundings only stretches as finding love, that can still be a good thing, especially as it can be seen as a move from childhood to womanhood. So long as they know that the world is bigger than the place they live in and can hope for the future, it shows that they're not empty headed like people say they are.
"I know people think we're naive, but what's the harm in believing in love and goodness in the world?" YES!! I've always been like that! I'd ask where I can sign up for the Princess Academy, but I guess I already am one lol
I love the reversal for Merida in the Christmas video: the pessimist said, "Is it too late to go with the girl with bow and arrow?" In the Christmas video, Merida said, "Is it too late to go with Elsa and Anna?" Lol #tickled

4:43 Can people show a little more respect for Snow White Wreck-It Ralph 2 is also guilty of this After all She's the Oldest and the Fairest of them all.
I think it’s a little harder to not see Snow White as a stereotype. She is the stereotype, she started what became the princess movement. I personally love her, but it’s hard to make her more “socially acceptable”. She’s a princess and she owns it. I think that needs to be respected a lot more.
I love how the song is almost saying he should get a prince, or be in the same circumstances as the princesses (which some are: wearing a high heeled shoes that's GLASS, go to a dwarves' house or having animal sidekicks) Also a guy can be a princess. that's also cool
@@duongtin3258 Really? That's funny because the whole time he was going on about how true love and happily ever after doesn't exists, all I kept thinking was "Really? Because I found mine, and *he's* great!"
Ginnifer Goodwin was so perfect as Snow White in OUAT. Her beauty matched the Disney character so well. Skin as white as snow. Lips pink as roses. Her voice was beautiful too. I love each how each of the women in this video portray my fave princesses. Makes me feel like a child again. Where's my pixie dust! I'm off to Neverland to play with Tinkerbell.
I have to say I’m glad I found this video. In my opinion, Disney missed an opportunity to fight the “princess stereotypes” a few times. They’ve made fun of their own princesses instead, in a way. But all in all, I haven’t looked up to the princesses in the stories, be it barbie or Disney, because of their beauty or unrealistic bodies. I look up to them because of their character. And because they see other characters that way as well.
I loved the video!! Great work guys!! I liked Pocahontas and Belle, they are so cool. The only thing that bothers me is that nowadays everyone makes Snow White look a little... stupid. And she is not stupid. There is nothing wrong with her. Her voice is not silly, is just her decade's fashion. Adriana Caselotti didn't sound silly, just high pitched, like Minnie, Betty Boop... it was the voice preference of the period. Anyway, your song was amazing, as always!!!
This Snow White reminded me more of Giselle from Enchanted than Snow White. I know they tried to make Giselle similar to Snow, but I felt like Amy Adams dumbed her down a little.
@Yvonne Bocman thank you! Jajaja actually that was one of my favourite shows 😊 and yes, that is the kind of refreshment this wonderful princess needs. A pure heart and a strong spirit is what Snow White always meant to me.
I think Walt Disney actually made Snow White's voice like that on purpose if I remember correctly. But I agree, though I like how it added comedy to it. I feel like her personality was well represented (really cheerful, good willed, and just a happy person in general despite what's going on) but she was just shown to be slow.
I hate when they do that with Snow White, and they always make it seem like Aurora want to sleep like no she was cursed, and they always reduce Belle to reading, she is wayyyyy more than that she is so courageous too! Still interesting to watch though
Belle: Juvenile. Ted: Really? What do you know about books? Belle: Would you like to see my library? Me: Did you watch the movie? Where's the beast when you need him? Ps. Why did I almost cry with this song! What is wrong with me??? I think I was motivated with this song.
PrincessofEllabur Oh yeah. good point. But what if Adam had a "Harry Potter" tweak in it and Adam discovers that Belle is a secret Hermione Granger and then Adam is an Animagus that turns into a beast and then into a human. Kinda like Remus Lupin's animagus.
@@gabriellemalong5650 I'm borrowing from Whitney Avalon here but you mean a "beast in the bed"? BTW-remember Remus wasn't an Anaimagues but a 100% werewolf. So I think you mean Sirius at least. But technically Robby Benson apparently had a loud voice because before or after he became the Beast- he was the original dad in the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch series and used the same "beast" voice to get his sisters (Caroline Rhea and Beth Brodrick) to calm down.
What's Ted's problem? He's in a room surrounded by 14 beautiful, lovely, talented, and wonderful women who were all super nice to him. Despite the fact that he wrote an entire book about how much he hated them.
When life beats you down, you become a pessimist. Maybe he jealous that they can still see good, maybe he's confused over how they could still see good.
Can I just say a HUGE THANK YOU for this AURORA! Somehow nobody gets her right and makes her all wrong, but your Aurora is a true tribute to the original. Her voice, manners, look, charm, outfit - it’s amazing. Truly amazing.
Yes! That's exactly what I think. I feel like too many people dismiss the "girly" princesses because it's not as badass as the later princesses. There's nothing wrong with being feminine, wearing dresses or liking pink.
Ok so being as obsessed with princesses as I am, I have watched many MANY iterations of Disney Princess squads. Let me just say that this is my favorite one that I have seen in years! (With the exception of Wreck It Ralph 2, but as of writing this I haven’t seen it yet) this was just the right amount of cheesy and taking it self seriously enough. It was respectful and didn’t paint all of the princesses as the same stereotype. Love it!!!!
Disney: the girl is strong, independent and creative. With that she saved everyone and falls in love. Society: LOVE? Why do women need men? She doesn’t need a guy to save her!!! Disney: 3/4 of these princess saved the prince. Society: NO MEN!!!
@@bookowl1775 some questions are fine. But when a society likes the concept of a woman but not the reality of a woman is. It applies to men too. Society likes the concept of man. But actively hates men for the audacity of actually being men.
@@bookowl1775 I agree questioning things is fine, but people are on a righteous path now not a exploration curve as much when it comes to our news or controversial topics any more. I am constantly asked if I'm being abused by men because I fit nearly perfectly into the pre-women's rights female stereo-type and a lot of people cant accept that. Truth be told I've only come to physical harm at the hands of women, not that they ever ask that question. I'm not saying everyone in society is at this point of feminist qualities no longer being acceptable in females, that's not even close to what I am saying, but the point still stands that the far left (very far left) wing of society is no longer exploring, and as it happens these people are the most verbal in society. In which case I think the original post sums up these peoples stupidity quite nicely. If they want to be doing steryo-typically male things that's fine, but they need to let steryo-typical woman to exist to.
Can I just say I’m doing a acting/ character study for a Disney princess program and every actress in this was AMAZING and SO HELPFUL. Even with their little bits, their acting was so distinctive and stood out for EVERY character. This was also an adorable story, I was “awwwwing” at the end. Such a wonderful video :)
This has so much potential! Sure there's magic, I mean, it's Disney, but it happens to these girls because of who they are INSIDE. As PEOPLE. As kind, caring, independent, DIFFERENT, people, who find happily ever after THEIR way. Cinderella is often criticized heavily because she's seen as such a doormat example, but in reality, she's extremely relatable to most people. Not just young girls. Older girls, young boys, older men, those who don't identify- anyone. There's always situations where you feel helpless and breakdown and cry, even when the solution seems obvious to someone else, or should be the "right thing". Self advocacy is hard. Especially when your supposedly maternal figure sees you as a slave, and your "sisters" are no better. Of COURSE your going to have low self esteem! But where she is weak, she has the friends who understand her, love her, and would do anything for her. The mice are tiny too. They have something deep in common where that drives a respect for each other. I'm done now. All I can say is thank you. But in hindsight, Ted IS right from the literal standpoint. You cannot just turn a pumpkin into a carriage Unless you take years and years and years of engineering a pumpkin to even be that size, and that's just the beginning. But sometimes a little magic DOES happen... Signed, Going to Create the First Life Sized Cinderella Carriage from a Real Pumpkin

While I didn't fall "in love" with my wife at first sight by the time we were engaged it certainly felt as if we had looking back. I find fairy tales to be a brief summary and a beautiful cinematic depiction of the process of falling in love. It is not meant to be an accurate chronological depiction but a romanticized version of the intimate relationships that all humans need to flourish personally.
I'll say it as many times as possible.. this is absolutely amazing! Every single princess is portrayed perfectly how they are while having exactly that what makes them unique!! I love this so much

I'm looking forward to more of the villain's lair but I think I'm going to skip on the princess Academy and hope you do more of the villain's Lair soon.
Omg! Their voices are ON POINT! Especially Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Merida, and Tiana! The rest were great too (especially in character)!
Okay, but just notice exactly how each line that each princess sang fit their song style perfectly...how both the actresses pulled it off, AND the choreographer designed it. Absolutely brilliant!!
The more I watch this, the more I wish Disney themselves would fund you guys to make your show a full-time/fully funded series for Disney+ and/or television. There's so much more passion and reverence for the source material than what Disney themselves are making.

Princesses: “But true love’s kiss can break the curse!”
Merida: “Am I a joke to you?”
I get it....since Merida's mom was cursed and turned into a bear. And Merida's like...."That's my mom, though...."
Maybe that but what I meant was that in her movie she proved herself single.
That's also true
Also Anna and Elsa
Kristoff: Am I a joke to you!?
Elsa is the single one

Zia Cercado technically it’s actually Aurora
Belle: Happily Never After. Just read it. I found it to be one sided, absurd, mean spirited, repetitive, and.. juvenile!
Ted: Really? What do you know about books?
Belle: *would you like to see my library..?*
DAAAAAAAMN
Belle is entitled to her opinion and Ted is entitled to his too.
You need some ointment for that burn TED 😎😎😎
I was almost a little annoyed at the Amatonormativity but nope. My aromantic self thanks you PattyCake productions
Snow White deserves more credit, she was 14 in the movie. Of course she wouldn’t he very mature or independent. She’s a middle schooler raised in a castle, yet she still managed to make a life for herself. She’s an optimistic little kid
Elsa: "I know. That's why I'm applying ice to it."
Elsa's hand: *resting on his forehead*
Me: "Oh my god, that's clever! 😀"
Also, totally lost it at the D23 line

@YIWEN LIU same bro i thought it was a real book
I love appreciating things so here are some small things I noticed that I love so much about the video:
- Cinderella sounding equally ENCHANTING, Charming and unrealistically light.
After." That little face shrug she does as she turn back to her book is just everything
- Merida being basically constantly angry because she doesn't want to be there, especially when she said "bETteR half!". Her accent is also on point as well
- Jasmine's confident voice but also sounding like she still has her head in the clouds, which is on brand, I like it.
- Pocahontas old soul aura and how the way she says everything even though it's just the lyrics sound like it could be etched into a fortune cookie
- Tiana's accent, especially when she said "The shadow man could make it worse." and "What's wrong?
I love your comment but I just want to ask you something...

When you realize that Ralph breaks the internet put all these amazing characters who are known for their off the charts awesome singing voices and didn't give them a song.

So long as they know that the world is bigger than the place they live in and can hope for the future, it shows that they're not empty headed like people say they are.
well for Cinderella (and maybe Snow White) Cinderella wanted a chance to be treated like an equal.
the most wholesome defence...👏👏👍

She's the Oldest and the Fairest of them all.
Thomas K96 I agree! They owe everything to her. She was the first Walt Disney had in a Princess movie.
I think it’s a little harder to not see Snow White as a stereotype. She is the stereotype, she started what became the princess movement. I personally love her, but it’s hard to make her more “socially acceptable”. She’s a princess and she owns it. I think that needs to be respected a lot more.

And in Ariel's case, it's equal: Ariel saved Eric twice and vice versa.

Amazing video! I just finished, and this was amazing! It was like a real production! And I’m so excited for the next episode!

Snow's reaction when he mentioned apples is hilarious. .
This is absolutely brilliant!! Perfect casting for everyone. Came here for Ben (loved Lisa's cameo at the end!) And staying for the whole experience. Subscribed!
They should make this into a box office movie 😍😍
"what do you know about books?"
"would you like to see my library?" 😂
Me : Yes as long as there’s audiobooks
7:06 anyone notice how Rapunzel hitting herself with her hair is exactly how Anna hits herself with the curtain tassel from Frozen "the picture of sophisticated grace!" Also with Anna in the same shot when she delivers the line. Another reference is when Rapunzel hits herself with the frying pan.
