Thanks for this post win video. It was wonderful hearing Maks give so many accolades to Meryl because she truly deserved it. Although listening to Mark, you wouldn't think that Meryl played a HUGE role in their win. Liked what Karina said about both and loving what they did this season. I think coming from her, it was a very nice compliment to both.
Val said that Meryl selflessly made it Maks' win. I think everyone took it for granted that Meryl is a very talented dancer so the pressure was on Maks to choreograph the dances to show off that talent and get those tens. And it was clear that winning the mirror ball was more important to Maks than it was to Meryl. So the story became about Maks' win though he himself in the end said " it was meant to happen with Meryl." I myself have never watched the show before so I can't compare, but many people familiar with the show thought the partnership of Maks and Meryl was special.
@@adamarejones3355 that might be true but oh the joy and learning they both did together that would not be transferable from couple to couple. What they had was very special and went far beyond skill and just the "winning" of a trophy!
you should post to the current DTWS by Disney Studios that you'd like to see updated videos. They seem to think that's not not important for viewers. And no rehersal videos nor judges scores are recorded. If they pay for them, are they really not important for viewers to see? Post everything for the viewers! Isn't that why they exist? Really don't they care about viewers?
Meryl is the reason why they won. She was just hot off the Ice Dance Gold Medal top spot on the podium in Sochi Winter Olympics, Feb. 2014. Max never had such a phenomenal partner. Regarding the chemistry, while it is possible that she and Max may have had a fling in addition to their swing, the chemistry she had with Charlie was amazing since they started skating when they were kids, 8 and 9? However Charlie was dating Tanith Belbin since 2011? So what appears to be romantic sparks is just Ice Dance chemistry and acting. Same applies to Max & Meryl, dance chemistry and acting.
