Visited it in 1985 and 2002 when it looked dull inside and out. Glad to see it looking shiny and bright now. Thank you for the tour!!

Went yesterday 4 12 23, I was blown away by the lighting effects. You arrive via a tunnel lit up plus music then at the top as you come into the sphere you see what looks like a scene from a si-fi movie.
The sound used is also amazing.
As I do dmx lighting as a hobby. 👌

The escalators are a bit claustrophobic ...

I was there in 1983, it was pretty drab back then and had little in the way of tourist facilities. A fabulous structure, have been fascinated by it since childhood.

"Welcome to the world of tomorrow!" When people of the 1950s imagined the future, they thought of visuals like this. Once futuristic, now it's retro-futuristic, and wonderfully so. I just learned about the change to steel plates, that's interesting.

I remember the escalators seemed very worn, when I visited it many years ago. The space exhibitions in the spheres seemed somewhat outdated, by then.

Lacklustre to say the least, very touristy and a cash grab during peak season.
Depends on what you’re looking for, if you’re into all the crowd and chaos then cool.
I preferred Mini Europe, more my cup of 🍵

I visited in 1985. Nuclear Energy is safe clean energy. There has been a push by the oil industry to scare the masses, because nuclear energy is cheap and clean. Nuclear energy would destroy the oil sector if we produced more plants.
