It was so fun being a part of this and actually able to watch it live. 🤣It was pretty obvious that the Dollar Store one would shatter after being hit with a vehicle, but I certainly didn't expect the acoustic to survive. I thought that it would take the most damage. You and John had such a great time doing this video. It was so entertaining.

My Dad played his OG 1968 Yamaha acoustic for many years on the stages of many venues in LA during his musical career. My Dad died 4 years ago. When my son turned 16, my mom gifted the cherished guitar to me son, who is also an amazing guitarist. The Yamaha still sounds amazing almost 60 years later..
At 0:34, that's the guitar police calling, they wanna know your location for kicking over the guitar. 😂 So happy to see you do another video with John!! I missed your guys' videos together. 😊 Although this was a bit painful to see all these guitars being abused. Especially the Gibson Les Paul, nooo!!! 😭 The Epiphone literally putting itself on display. 💀🤣 Was so not expecting that. Also, when John said "Scuffy McScufferson".. dude is literally speaking my language right there. 😂 Hope you're doing well, Steve. Love you lots. 💖
My guitar always slides sideways, it's drunk... This way all you guys do is add more personality to the instruments. Gotta have these imperfecti-ones !
My yamaha fg75 survived like 8 or 9 moves just in the past 5 years, including from texas to alaska and alaska to NC. My wife even got in an accident on the way up to alaska, and veered off the road while towing the trailer that had the guitar in it (she was fine, as was our cat, and our dogs were with me in my truck), and it wasnt very well packed, so it had plenty of room to move, but just in a gig bag, not even a very good one. Even with all those things stacked against it, it still survived and plays great til this day. Yamaha brings quality to literally everything they touch, as far as im aware. They're really slept on as a guitar company.
On the next video, you guys should test incidents that can happen to the guitarists, like fall on the stairs, bus accidents, get shot by a gun, this kind of normal things
I had that Yamaha. It survived earthquakes, extreme temperature changes, concrete falls, angry frienemies, a palette of boxes falling on it…. recommended. 😅
Stevie T reminds me of that one cool uncle at the family reunion that randomly starts casually talking about the craziest thing ever, like his uncle is friends with 50 cent or something
The only time I had a Les Paul take a dive it was immediate headstock snap. And it wasn't even a Gibson. In all fairness it wasn't kicked or catapulted off a stair, it made a clean dive forward landing straight on its headstock.
Dude those epiphones are actually super rare. That one hurt the most to see it getting destroyed cause it was mint beforehand. If i was you i would've used a regular epi les paul studio.
As a person who plays a yamaha trombone i can confirm that it could survive a 2 story building. It fell on metal bleachers 2 times, it fell on the ground, the slide fell off 2 times, and it fell while the slide wasnt locked. It still sounds good.
The headstock on Gibsons and Epiphones will pretty much only snap off if it falls off the stand backwards. The angle of the headstock is what causes it to snap
Hi Stevie! Your one of my biggest inspirations for playing guitar and I can REALLY relate to the first stand one. It’s was so funny to see these test 🤣 KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Also I feel the pain of running over that Gibson… R.I.P Gibson Les Paul…

This video is quite literally a snuff movie for guitar lovers if you think about it.
Snuff as in Slipknot?

EPICO

Steve, that Gibson can easy be repaired, it's even possible to build a new neck for it and it will have a great story to it either way. :D
