- In this video, Missy Hay from Missy Hay Collective shows you how to create a beautiful floral summer sign using IOD stamps, masking, and paint. The stamp, paint, and restamp technique is amazing (and oh so simple) for achieving a beautiful design without having to be a great artist. As Missy demonstrates, this process is also very forgiving, and a few imperfections are nothing to fuss about - they make your piece unique!
In this video, she uses an acrylic-type paint so she does not have to seal it for outdoor use. Alternatively, you can use chalk paint - just make sure to seal it when you finish.

Very pretty! I put a little piece of painters tape on the stamp at the "top" and also put another little piece of painters tape on whatever I'm stamping on to match the "top" of the stamp. Then, when I go to restamp it, I don't have to try and figure out where I stamped. Maybe this tip will help you :)
