- Hey there makers!
This tutorial will walk you through the process I use to add a no-sew comb to my Mabel Chicken Crochet pattern. The crochet pattern currently covers sewing a comb to the head. This method is a faster and more efficient way to make your Mabels!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Place a slip knot on your hook.
2: Insert your hook into the top stitch space on the head at the highest point between her eyes.
3: Yarn over, and pull through to complete a slip stitch.
4: Chain 1
5: Complete a half double crochet stitch, followed by a slip stitch into the same stitch.
6: Chain 1
7: Repeat step 5 into the next stitch behind the first cluster of stitches.
8: With a yarn needle, weave the tail through the comb so it comes out to back beside your starting tail.
9: Knot ends and weave into the body.
