Captain: “HERE THEY COME! Take positions! Protect the wagons at all cost, men!” Nice video
A volley of fire while Soldiers Joy was playin on the banjer! What could be better Shootin music? Kind Thanks Cabin Fever Feller! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Fun!. Next year for sure.
Good enough for government work & you already have the uniform, too!
After a few hundred round out of my 1866, I've learned that they start throwing shots after 3 sustained shots from heat. They like slow rates of fire. Also these trapdoor will tear up the mouths of your expensive 50-70 cases when extracting normally. I like to catch them before they have a chance to eject
Impressive rate of fire with that primitive rifle. How many shots can you fire before a minimal cleaning is mandatory?
the military says forty but we lube with some stuff called blackies gun butter i have fired over 100 in a row and acurracy didnt suffer. At the wagon box fight twenty seven guys fired several thousand rounds through these exact guns With no jams and no loss of accuracy in less then 12 hours
@@Real11BangBang I bet they were peeing down their barrels. Ha Ha! I visited the wagon box fight site about 35 years ago. Very cool!
Couldnt miss this one once ibseen the uniform. Where did you locate your uniform?
Those Trap doors are nice, but I'm concerned about ammo availability. I don't reload cartridges so, I'm at the mercy of others. I was considering the 45-70 Govt. Do you guys know which cal. is best for ammo availability. Thanks . . .
if you dont reload 50-70 is out of the question as no one loads it that i am aware of If you're going to shoot the black hills forty five seventy loads or cowboy loads I suggest getting modern reproduction.
As they are a few thousand smaller than original cartridges
Did better than I could cant really shoot right now lol
@@Real11BangBang lol wanna bet how money you got I just had scar tissue cut off my left eye and had it stitched back together
This is Ethan yes I remember we discussed this the other day I hope you're feeling better buddy
I got an 1839 Tower percussion replica from Loyalist Arms that I got specifically for that. Am so doing that next year.
Thanks for bringing attention to this event.
Good luck to you. See you there next year
