The raptor with the lizard, and the "abstract " of the bison. Fantastic! All of them: use of light and color-just wow! Your love and honor of the natural world radiates. You're on my bucket list to order photos from . . .
Thank you 4star! I appreciate hearing what your favorite photos were. I am trying to use light to better use these days. I put all my photos at sparkyphotos.com.
So beautiful. The cardinal stretching to drink is amazing! The songbird on the square wire fence with flower on the right (went by too fast to ID for me, then kept missing it when tried to rewind sheesh) is so beautiful, so peaceful, not flashy just a perfect moment in time. Such a great eye. All the pics were so beautiful, hard to hear you say you should have done this or that, I'm not a photographer so maybe you are playing to a tough crowd. It's brave to be an artist and put your stuff out there. I'm so glad you did, so great to see those shots. Great for your sons to have you as mentor. All the best.
That is a fun photo! (Cardinal). The bird on the wire fence is a Grasshopper Sparrow. I thought about including the names of all the birds, but I thought it might take away from just viewing the images. I appreciate your comments about my “eye“… Still trying to develop that!
Congratulations on a great photographic year. My favorites are the turkeys through the snowy window. Just discovered your channel and am really enjoying it.
Really enjoyed the burrowing owls and all of the various shots taken with unique action and lighting. The Marten too. Making me realize that I need to get more creative and think outside the box more! This was my first full calendar year of photography as I started mid-summer of 2022, but I find myself slipping into using the same "style" recently and I don't like it haha. Great shots Sparky. I draw a lot of inspiration from people like yourself who are so passionate about the outdoors. I'm sure I'll come back to this video throughout the year.
Good to hear from you Jason (?). Glad you are thinking about your photography and style. I do love a good portrait, but the creative side is what fascinates me right now. You can always start with getting the usual Portrait shots and then if your subject sticks around, you can get more and more creative. Good luck!
Good to hear from you as well! Sometimes I struggle with creativity with all this dull winter weather. I forget to try some landscape shots mixed in there when I can't take advantage of lighting conditions. I usually do pretty well with black and white landscapes in those gray conditions though! Hopefully 2024 is another good one for us both!

Great finds and great photos Sparky. Black and white shots looked really nice too
Thanks Tomas! Just read the blurb on Audubon’s website about your project! Congrats!
Great series. Hard to pick a favorite.

Very well done and truly enjoyable! Love the diversity of your portfolio.
Thanks Pat! Hope you’re enjoying the new snow.
Well done, really enjoyed from beginning to end. 👍
Super! Thanks for watching
Great job, Sparky.
Thanks Kevin! Happy 2024!
Excellent, so to answer your question; yes you did ok! One of my favorites here is the photo of the Western Grebes.
Hej Per, Tusen Takk! Western Grebes are certainly a favorite of mine as well
Sparky, this is wonderfully creative and totally inspirational!
Thank you RJ! I appreciate that.

A beautiful sequence of subperb photo's.
Thanks for watching Allen!
Well done. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the rim-lit Bison at Teddy.
Hi Bob. I do love that one too. Really appreciate hearing your pick!
Great shots love the bison with the red for ground I think that is your best shot.
Thanks Malco. I really appreciate your feedback. Some thing about that shot that I love.
Amazing 👍👍
Thanks again Shree!

Inspired ~ SZB trip tomorrow
How was Sax-Zim?
Some very nice photos for sure, Sparky. The two Prairie Dogs facing left in the soft light was my favorite. Have a Great New Year.
Thanks Terry! Prairie dogs have a lot of charisma.

Wow! Thank you, Gary!
