When I opened that book up (cause I was looking for MAGICK books) this was back in 1988 I had NO idea . Everything in that book was so over my head!. I put it aside, never threw it away. Would read Starhawk, and other books. Got Donald Michael Kraigs MODERN MAGICK etc.. and ended up on a 13 year "Dark night of the Soul". In 2020.. got a significant sign from the Angels (which I was not following at the time) by a 1212 syncronicity.. Now I am here studying again with Damien Echols. It is a journey. He actually has good books. HIGH MAGICK is a good book to start with . I recommend it.

I am not to this level of practice yet and I feel I perceive the power and am excited to make this a part of my daily practice very soon. I feel as though I am already experiencing the subtle energy shifts after practicing the QC and LBRP daily for a few months. My first substantial observation was that I no longer saw cockroaches in my house within the first 2 weeks. I see insects, animals, etc that we experienced, especially over and over again, a definite sign from Spirit/Creator/Higher Self. Cockroaches are known, among other things, spiritual shapeshifters. There are others, very subtle changes in how or if I react to a situation. I have literally sat back in awe of myself the other day. A situation which, in the past I would have reacted quite immediately and no doubt forcefully, just rolled over me like a strongish wave in the ocean. Anyway, I ramble, yet hope my observations can spark something in others in the process of transformation

Great video! I had read up on the Analysis a few weeks back. There was instructions on the importance of breath work accompanying the signs, but no mention of any visualizations, so thank you for that!
This is fantastic! Your teachings are like the final peice of the puzzle for this work. I get information from many sources regarding the same rituals and teachings but when you explain them its alway an ah-ha! breakthrough moment. I doubt any of the writers of the books I read have done as much actual practice as you. As unfortunate as those circumstances may have been that led to that..i think that pressure has given the world a diamond.
I practice almost daily with a standard playing card deck, using the suits and symbols according to standard association, and ill pull to observe patterns and decipher lessons from the combinations. You can use things like cards as a tarot replacement or almost quick chat with energy you're working with.

I completely love this. I can identify with what you said early on. I dont invest much time into divination. It's useful to know what energies are at play at a given time, but people become fatalistic with tarot. Why become fatalistic when the rituals alter your psychology and change outcomes? Your fate is in your hands when you use this stuff daily to whatever degree your will is developed
Thanks for demystifying this ritual Damien. The analysis of the keyword was something that confused me, maybe because I read too much into the specifics of the title. Sometimes getting bogged down with Kabbalistic meaning too can veil simplicity and muddy a magicians mindset at the begining of their studies. Having teachers around who have a deeper understanding through years of practice is invaluable, thankyou for sharing.
I would strongly recommend going by Nick Farrell's recommendation and using the God Set for this ritual instead of the destructive Egyptian deity mentioned in this video. Generally, the one mentioned at 5:45 is a forbidden name that the Kemetics (people who worship the Egyptian pantheon) and should not be uttered or invoked. I am still deeply grateful for this video, and the work you're doing Damien!!

I believe it depends on if you want to begin practicing immediately, or if you would like a great read and a page turner regarding Damien's story with references to Magick I would recommend 1000 x's over "Life after death"

Quick question: After doing the LBRP must you do the invoking of the hexagram? Is that to draw the energies of the astral or are we banishing with the Hexagram? I’ve read if you banish you must invoke? So when I do the LBRP I never invoke into the space should I be ?
Damien, this is one of the reasons I listen to you. Is it possible that the visualization process your talking about can be achieved through perhaps a different method. I feel that what you are describing here is very similar to a process I discovered during meditation. During the meditation, I saw a being of light, the being pressed its hands together as if to pray but with the thumbs extended and in contact with the heart Chakra. As the being performed this stance, i heard "I acknowledge the God within". As the being continued i began to follow along. "I acknowledge the God withing". My hands pressed and thumbs in contact with my chest. I bent my head down instinctively. As I did this, I saw a blindingly white light ignite at my core, which then formed a thread of light traveling in a circle from my hands, head, heart, creating a constantly swirling light. All of my Chakras seemed to explode at once. The being of light, seeing me do this them repositioned its hands to its head, hands pressed together thumbs extended making contact with the third eye. "I acknowledge the God without". I followed the beings instruction again. As I preformed this action and stating my acknowledgment a beam of brilliant white light crashed down, engulfing my body and lighting the earth at its core, continuing on and on in each direction eternally. It was too much for me to take initially. I did not expect the overwhelming sensation of this imperceptibly powerful energy. It physically vibrated me from my meditation. It took a moment to gather myself to perform this again. Do you think perhaps the ritual you describe is drawing from the same source?
Have you heard of the Clavis Rei Primae it's a version of the middle pillar that includes a third-eye energy center and a part including the visualization of a caduceus from malkuth to daath. Do you have any experience on how these differ, because to me the clavis feels stronger?

interesting your idea for bringing the light down on fighting neighbors given the general principle - which i've heard you state as well - about never doing magick for others without their permission. i do find myself violating this principle yet all magick i do is finalized with "for the highest good of all concerned with harm done to none." seems to cover the bases...

I can close my eyes and know what I’m *supposed* to see, yet I never actually see the shafts of light, pentagrams, angels, etc. I do however believe that these entities and energies exist, so I guess my questions would be 1. I have a very limited ability to visualize. I use to worry about the same thing. I found that I feel things rather than see them. Everyone takes in & experiences things in a different way. You'll find yours. Love & light ✌️🙏🌻
I guess is common, you need to have more experience in "unifying" the higher self and the lower self. And also, it works even if you cant visualize it well. It all depends of your intent and will. Discover yourself, find which sense you are more sensitive and try to imagine with all your imagination what do you want. You are more a sound person, so try to hear the shaft of light coming down. I’ve found on a couple occasions when trying to discuss this ritual with someone who doesn’t know it, my subconscious or something completely stops me from speaking. I have no idea why.
I have had that happen with me. What I later came to realize is that they weren't ready, would have misused it, or inadvertently caused harm. Harm to themselves, others, or ME. I shared a little magick with someone and they used it at every possible moment and for any purpose they could bridge it to. Lot of bad karmic blowback, tons to them because they did it, and I got a fair share for sharing. It was not so much giving a child a loaded gun, or even a pack of matches. More like taking that magnifying glass they were looking at bugs with and showing them what it could do to a slip of paper on a sunny day...

Damien, I have a question/musing I have wanted to put to you about the LBRP. I live in the Southern Hemisphere and for a number of years I have swapped the traditional cardinal associations of Michael/Adonai and Uriel/AGLA due to the strength and presence of Sol as it is in our North not South in the warmer months. I find that this makes geocentric sense and have not encountered any correspondence issues however I am curious as to your take on this and if there might be any possible inconsistencies with more in depth ritual or systems elsewhere. For example, I have commanded someone to leave a room on multiple occasions. Although, this is only in partial success, I have noticed that I can influence and attract things with thought. I will think without focus "I would like to sell a necklace" and then the next day be approached about creating a custom necklace on multiple occassions. However, much of the circumstances which unfold in front of me after having a thought or some emotional movement happen effortlessly and often unconsciously... in addition, I often feel that people are consistently speaking in a code that relates to maintaining my awareness and growth, though I know they are not conscious of this. From what I gather, Crowley was just a windbag that ripped off Mathers' work and put his name on it, eg: the 777 book of correspondences. And used what people taught him to be a megalomaniacal perv. Who knows what really happened, though.

I am not to this level of practice yet and I feel I perceive the power and am excited to make this a part of my daily practice very soon.
I feel as though I am already experiencing the subtle energy shifts after practicing the QC and LBRP daily for a few months.
My first substantial observation was that I no longer saw cockroaches in my house within the first 2 weeks. I see insects, animals, etc that we experienced, especially over and over again, a definite sign from Spirit/Creator/Higher Self. Cockroaches are known, among other things, spiritual shapeshifters.
There are others, very subtle changes in how or if I react to a situation. I have literally sat back in awe of myself the other day. A situation which, in the past I would have reacted quite immediately and no doubt forcefully, just rolled over me like a strongish wave in the ocean. Anyway, I ramble, yet hope my observations can spark something in others in the process of transformation

I practice almost daily with a standard playing card deck, using the suits and symbols according to standard association, and ill pull to observe patterns and decipher lessons from the combinations. You can use things like cards as a tarot replacement or almost quick chat with energy you're working with.

I completely love this. I can identify with what you said early on. I dont invest much time into divination. It's useful to know what energies are at play at a given time, but people become fatalistic with tarot. Why become fatalistic when the rituals alter your psychology and change outcomes? Thanks for demystifying this ritual Damien. The analysis of the keyword was something that confused me, maybe because I read too much into the specifics of the title. Sometimes getting bogged down with Kabbalistic meaning too can veil simplicity and muddy a magicians mindset at the begining of their studies. I would strongly recommend going by Nick Farrell's recommendation and using the God Set for this ritual instead of the destructive Egyptian deity mentioned in this video. Generally, the one mentioned at 5:45 is a forbidden name that the Kemetics (people who worship the Egyptian pantheon) and should not be uttered or invoked.

Damien, this is one of the reasons I listen to you. Is it possible that the visualization process your talking about can be achieved through perhaps a different method. I feel that what you are describing here is very similar to a process I discovered during meditation. During the meditation, I saw a being of light, the being pressed its hands together as if to pray but with the thumbs extended and in contact with the heart Chakra. As the being performed this stance, i heard "I acknowledge the God within". As the being continued i began to follow along. "I acknowledge the God withing". My hands pressed and thumbs in contact with my chest. I bent my head down instinctively. As I did this, I saw a blindingly white light ignite at my core, which then formed a thread of light traveling in a circle from my hands, head, heart, creating a constantly swirling light. All of my Chakras seemed to explode at once.
The being of light, seeing me do this them repositioned its hands to its head, hands pressed together thumbs extended making contact with the third eye. "I acknowledge the God without". I followed the beings instruction again. As I preformed this action and stating my acknowledgment a beam of brilliant white light crashed down, engulfing my body and lighting the earth at its core, continuing on and on in each direction eternally.
It was too much for me to take initially. I did not expect the overwhelming sensation of this imperceptibly powerful energy. It physically vibrated me from my meditation. It took a moment to gather myself to perform this again.
Do you think perhaps the ritual you describe is drawing from the same source?

I’m having trouble with visualizations. I can close my eyes and know what I’m *supposed* to see, yet I never actually see the shafts of light, pentagrams, angels, etc. I do however believe that these entities and energies exist, so I guess my questions would be 1. I have a very limited ability to visualize. I use to worry about the same thing. I found that I feel things rather than see them. Everyone takes in & experiences things in a different way. You'll find yours. Love & light ✌️🙏🌻
I guess is common, you need to have more experience in "unifying" the higher self and the lower self. And also, it works even if you cant visualize it well. It all depends of your intent and will. Discover yourself, find which sense you are more sensitive and try to imagine with all your imagination what do you want. You are more a sound person, so try to hear the shaft of light coming down. I’ve found on a couple occasions when trying to discuss this ritual with someone who doesn’t know it, my subconscious or something completely stops me from speaking. I have no idea why.
I have had that happen with me. What I later came to realize is that they weren't ready, would have misused it, or inadvertently caused harm. Harm to themselves, others, or ME.
I shared a little magick with someone and they used it at every possible moment and for any purpose they could bridge it to. Lot of bad karmic blowback, tons to them because they did it, and I got a fair share for sharing. It was not so much giving a child a loaded gun, or even a pack of matches. More like taking that magnifying glass they were looking at bugs with and showing them what it could do to a slip of paper on a sunny day...

Damien, I have a question/musing I have wanted to put to you about the LBRP.
I live in the Southern Hemisphere and for a number of years I have swapped the traditional cardinal associations of Michael/Adonai and Uriel/AGLA due to the strength and presence of Sol as it is in our North not South in the warmer months. I find that this makes geocentric sense and have not encountered any correspondence issues however I am curious as to your take on this and if there might be any possible inconsistencies with more in depth ritual or systems elsewhere. Thank you for you're guidance Damien. I have a question related to this subject. For a few years, I have had a constant stream of odd situations that have always corresponded with my thoughts. For example, I have commanded someone to leave a room on multiple occasions. Although, this is only in partial success, I have noticed that I can influence and attract things with thought. I will think without focus "I would like to sell a necklace" and then the next day be approached about creating a custom necklace on multiple occassions. However, much of the circumstances which unfold in front of me after having a thought or some emotional movement happen effortlessly and often unconsciously... in addition, I often feel that people are consistently speaking in a code that relates to maintaining my awareness and growth, though I know they are not conscious of this. What is this? And why is it that I do not require any ritual or invocation?
