Thanks Jay. I took a long break for a whole slew of reasons ... and I need a camera. But I still have the bike and ride it all the time! Will hopefully get back to making videos in the Spring!
I have the versys 650 same engine “ish” 2018. Booster plug, super easy to install worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY for the Kawy 650. Throttle isnt perfect, but at least 75% twitchiness is gone and it does noticeably help the acceleration (not much but noticeable) my .02
I just googled slipper clutch for the Vulcan s and I came across a dealer advertising the Vulcan s with a slipper clutch so who really know what they've got.
Also my booster plug quit working after having an installed for about 2 years.
I believe some markets have the slipper clutch on the Vulcan s. I originally thought it had it as well, but maybe not the US.
I installed my booster plug on my 2019 Vulcan S ABS on July 13, 2020. The engine breaking problem is still there and I did not get the best results as reported by other Booster Plug users. Many other people claimed that they had great results and I'm not sure what was the cause(s) of my boost plug problems on my bike. There are also two other users in the website claiming the same poor results similar to the one I had.
Sorry to hear that! I wonder if there is something different about a 2019?
If it’s newer it might be something in the ecu
Got the booster plug a few days ago for my Vulcan but haven't had the time to install it yet. But from what i'w heard they are worth it.
Please let me jnow what you think after you install.
If you have the time do a detailed install video. I've been debating about whether to get one but my knowledge when it comes to bikes and electronics isn't very good so I don't know the potential dangers or just general ins and outs of installing something like this. I'm curious to know whether or not getting a booster plug after getting an aftermarket exhaust is a sufficient substitute for getting something like a power commander.
Winter is closing in here but il will try to get it on so i can take it out for a test ride before the ice and snow hits 😊

The booster plug fixed all the complaints that I had. I'll be adding My Two Brothers exhaust very soon hopefully it runs good with the booster plug.
Do boosterplug help if my bike run Lean? Have grom with exhaust and intake
I believe the booster plug helps the bike run richer.
