Thank you for talking about our “stuff.” We are not responsible for what happened to us as children but we are responsible for how we deal with it as adults.

@@susanmarie2231 I don't understand why people are so angry? Because she has money? People are aloud to be happy in their own skin. I'm happy for her and have always thought she was a inspirational person as Bruce and now as herself!

In the 70s, when I was a kid and in track and field, I ate Wheaties and watched you...I won running awards and you set a great example for me. Now, I'm in my 50s, I admit I don't understand gender dysphoria, it confused me, but you look beautiful and seem healthy... if you're happy than I am. The lessons of this for me I guess are to live and let live, peace is what I value. I never became as rich as you yet also like you, I'm very successful in life by my own definition...Be blessed many thank yous🦋

Yes! City Slickers is humorous movie, yet touches on things meaningful . A favorite of mine; one of the guys from the group of 'City Slicker', friend of Billy Crystal's character asked him: if he were stranded on a desert island for a few days, with a delightful opportunity to sleep with a person he was attracted to, would he? "No", was his answer, then continued describing how dear his wife was to him. His friend kept up, trying to persuade the character that he could participate in this hypothetical scenario.... that no one would ever know. The exasperated character replied, "You don't get it, I would know." Thanks for these Caitlyn. To me sorting some of our 'stuff' can be daunting, other times less so. I'm still working on it.

Wow, thank you for inspiring words. I can relate to you in having a mental disability at school that set me apart from the other students. I eventually found the love of sports and participated in three different sports. My childhood was not the healthiest at home so I tired my best to stay out the house. By staying in school and participating in sports. Your words are very real and special because not many people see the sunlight to have the motivation to succeed. You reminded us that it’s okay to be different, there will be sunshine soon. Thank you Caitlyn 😍🤧

My "one thing" is my meditation practice. I would like to retire, withdraw, and disappear as soon as possible so I can meditate full time. I do not want to retire, withdraw, and disappear from fear, cowardice, irresponsibility, or laziness but because work, social life, sex, and everything else are distractions, intrusions, and contaminations that are getting in the way of fulfilling myself in my meditation practice. My meditation practice is my point and my purpose, and it's for me, not for humanity. It's what I need to do. It's what I want to do. I do it as well and as often as I can now with the time, energy, and opportunity that I have, but my goal is to meditate full time with meditation, quiet contemplation, reading on topic, and journaling. That's fulfillment.

You make a good point. Instead of wasting energy on what we find "deficient" in ourselves, we can redirect that energy to what makes us light up inside and over time, if we do that, we'll come to appreciate our supposed "pitfalls" because by redirecting our efforts towards skills or goals and not being distracted by those normal life tasks, we can make ourselves our best version of ourselves.
I like the way you put it better. I hadn't thought about it this way before but I appreciate the suggestion on the value of perspective shift. Thanks Caitlyn :)

All had good laughs! I didn't know English at the time so what mattered to me was the beautiful songs of silver screen and early 1920 to 1930 style music and film. But you Ma'am are a badass! I really got a new found respect for you, I like Caitlyn a lot and I think you are as smart as a whip, you don't take any BS. You stand up for what you think is fair and wright, be damned the consequences. Everyone's entitled to there opinions but that's what make a woman a BADASS!
