Congrats Ian on a fantastic new series ,what lovely carp caught . The banter between you and Steve was great .Looking forward to the next vlog keep safe and well.🎣🎣🎣😀😀😀
Ian mate....the story is high end porcelain cups could take boiling water in the Victorian era//and asking someone if they wanted milk to be added was a way to show off high end porcelain...working class people added milk first as the crockery could crack with the heat from boiling water alone... Mike Reddy :)
OMG, Never, NEVER add Milk before Hot Water, 1 Teabag in cup, Add boiling water and let or help teabag percolate, add sugar to taste, remove tea bag from cup when the tea is strong enough, THEN add Milk, TW postcode = Tea Weak by adding milk first, Get a Grip Lads, apart from that good vid
Try using back leads and also having a plan for what you're going to do when you hook a fish and land it, so having your rods in the best place, line lay in the best direction etc...
Great new series, love Ian. Always has been a great angler, but sorry never add the milk before the water as it blocks the pores of the bag and don’t allow it too brew proper....
Brilliant ian. Now that is getting on your knees and praying to the carp gods. Lucky you don't need to pray n hurt your knees to much joking aside😉 your a top angler
You only add milk first when making tea because commoners cups would shatter when boiling water was added to them as their cups were low quality. Unlike the gentry who's fine China could tolerate such high temperatures. Also to get a proper mash you need the boiling water. Which is why the water was boiled twice, once to warm the tea pot and a second time to make the mash.
Hello Mr Russel loved the vlog but I’m afraid I’ve lost faith in you brother 1st falling over a matchstick left on the floor and the second unforgivable milk before hot water lol that’s so wrong 😑 take care mate 👍🏻
Brilliant, loved it! And I'm with you, milk before the water - every time tea or coffee!!
Just coffee 4 me
Milk goes in last, the tea brews better
@@richardsearle4819 not in my house! 😉
tea doesnt brew well if the temp isnt near boiling makes it taste shit not the british way
Great start to a hopeful new carp series . Great angling Ian.🐟🎣
thanks dave

Ace video. Only just started watching Ian. But really good presenter.
Ian knows as much about making tea as he does about bait making.. 😘
😂
😂 that's why we keep him out of our rolling rooms ;) he's good at using our baits though to be fair :)
Great video! Can’t wait to see more, good chemistry with the cameraman and it shows (no homo)
thanks Aston

thats what i said to my old deer the other day but she recons if your letting it stew it dont make a difference
Ian you are right mate always milk 🥛 and then the water 💧 spot on
You maybe an angling legend but the milk never goes in before the hot water!!
Questions how do you not get your rods tangled when all 3 rods are on 1 spots? I sometimes struggle w 2 rods on 1 spot 🤣
Try using back leads and also having a plan for what you're going to do when you hook a fish and land it, so having your rods in the best place, line lay in the best direction etc...

Deffenitly a tactic that is under looked on the bank. (Tea making)😁

I've checked the VAR and there was definitely contact, but it was outside of the swim, so for me...no penalty. Ian"neymar"russell
haha :)

Great watch .....but dirty tea and talk of vanilla latte.....wtf ..😂👍
switched off at de-caff tea bag
.... who put that effing pole there
probably our camerman steve on purpose lol
My god u should never put the milk in until tea bag is out.tea making 101
That’s what I do and get ribbed for too🙈🙈
More close up shots....I think I know what rig he means I just couldn’t see it
Ian you are wrong on two levels, its Yorkshire tea bags and milk last.
😊
Kerect!
Sorry Ian that’s not the way to make a proper cup of tea
Can catch carp but can’t make a decent brew 😂😅😂 milk is after it’s mashed 😉🤣
When making proper tea your not ment to squeeze the bag!., Don't ask me why but that's what the experts say!
Those alarms look like cheap crap!

Tea not strong enough far to much milk. But Awesome video.
it's what some of us said too 😂
Worst brews iv ever seen in my life!!! Milk in first are you joking. Deal breaker that Ian you should be ashamed of your self.
