I use Igel exclusively and love it! I think the color you were trying to achieve is close to Igels Crepe. It's sheer with a milky pink hue. I never use base coat before topcoat because it always creates a dimpling effect. I just top coat right after activating. Gorgeous design as always, ty for sharing!
So amazing! The top coat works best with the standard timing. After filing/buffing, activator, wait two mins, wipe off excess, go in with top coat (1 layer on all fingers and then 2nd layer on all fingers)
I don't have any advice as I've not used this brand yet. I just wanted to say I absolutely love your videos and the designs you come up with are great. I really enjoy your teaching as well.
Hi Melissa! Beautiful mani as always! I’ve been using iGel liquids for about a year. I never did read the instructions (I never do). But I apply dip as normal. Buff and file. Activate. Scrub with a clean dry napkin. Apply the topcoat in quick clean strokes. And then I go right into the second layer of topcoat. I don’t do base like you did in your video
I cannot believe u haven't used any IGel up til now...!!! I remember when i 1st heard of them and ordered at 60% off. #MindBlown!!! And let me tell u...when that sale ended...people lost their minds. They have great products...great prices..and decent shipping times
So pretty and feminine. I love iGel dips; just so much product though. Never tried their liquids at all. By the way, those exact files you can buy on Amazon AND Rossi! They all out their own name on them. They are fantastic and wash up well tooo!
Melissa you have no idea how much I love your channel. It's beyond me how you don't have thousands and thousands more followers. Your work is amazing and informative. I have been searching for this look for days!! So much of jt is with acrylic!! I commented on another video if you could do a gold cuticle and black nail? Id like to do this for my new years nails. I also wanted to try the red cuff and milky nail for Xmas but I'm a little Intimidated
Loved this mani! I’ve had my eye on this glitter for a while. I only use gel top coat because I was never able to get revel’s to work for me but Igel is definitely a company I buy from often. Glad u liked your goodies!
I like the idea of thinner chunky glitters. I’ve always looked at igel, but 2 oz powders!! I can never bring myself to take the plunge. 😂 Beautiful mani as always!!
I love this mani. It reminds me of the peekaboo mani that you did a few months ago. I have used these liquids and I applied them the same as many others. After filing and buffing, I add one coat of activator and wait about 30 seconds, wipe off the nails and go in immediately with the first layer of top coat to all nails, and straight away with the second coat. Definitely wipe the brush after each nail because these brushes harden very easily if they have any trace of activator on them. I really love this activator because I found it hardens fast, but I found the top coat always gets thick/contaminated easily.
At 17:00 I have a?... ...why do you apply another "base coat" when you have already applied several layers of powder & glitter?¿?🤷🏼♀️ Please give me a list of steps typically used with dip powders: it doesn't have to be set in stone, I get that. But for instance: Base, (next), (+next), Etc... Thank you 😊
FYI....GinnyInABottle who commented below and gave you directions to follow is actually an Ambassador for iGel Beauty, so I would definitely follow the directions she gave you. I noticed someone told you to wait 30 seconds after applying activator and I believe that's what you did in the video, however Ginny said to wait 2 minutes and then go in with Top Coat, so I would give that a try. I do know for sure that you don't apply the base again after filing/buffing, but again take a look at her comment below, she absolutely knows what she's talking about.
Ugh, I gel. Some love it and some hate it. There is no in-between. The site lacks any kind of directions and I had horrible experiences with the liquids. They didn't even have any glitters like that before. The mani is pretty. I would like to see a re-do with another smaller indie brand

Such an elegant mani. Thanks for the video.
I love this look!
This is the reason why I come to love the peek-a-boo nails style because I was watching your video!!!!! I love this so much!

Perfect timing for the huge sale they are having right now!

Your combos are so elegant....I can't draw, haven't tried, so these types of styles are perfect for me- ❤️Nurse MJ

Thank you so much! And you want gold cuticle like peek-a-boo style?
She did this video recently and it was gorgeous
I just bought this brand for the first time and haven’t tried it yet so this video is definitely hopeful… this set is stunning 😍
Beautiful nails. I am learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful design.
Turned out beautifully 😍 I love how your designs turn out
This came out beautifully
No experience to help. Very pretty though!🤩😍🤩😍💓

These turned out SO CUTE!! I need to try this, I just got some really pretty glitter dip powder
I like the idea of thinner chunky glitters. I’ve always looked at igel, but 2 oz powders!! I can never bring myself to take the plunge. 😂 Beautiful mani as always!!
Love this set. Never used Igels before so I don't have any helper tips

See that's about the timing I did! 🤔 I'll have to try it again.
Yes that’s what I do also. I think the issue was the base coat before the top coat?
OK I'll try without that step next time!
Beautiful mani!!! Love your videos!!!

I wear for my job they are pretty

It's not you, their top coat always gave me problems too. Love their other products. You will enjoy the gels.
Too thick. Tore up your cuticles. Too much work for not a lot of pay off. I think dip powder is another name for acrylics.
