Her Majesty The Queen's Birthday Parade

1st Batallion Scots Guards
The parade consists of seven different groupings of soldiers:
The parade includes six Guards; each one is comprised of 3 officers and 70 men, (except the Escort which has a total of 76 men) making a total of 19 officers and 426 men.
The Bands of the five Foot Guards Regiments comprising of five officers and 222 musicians.
The Household Calvery Mounted Regiment consisting of:
The Life Guards with four officers, 57 mounted troops, 61 horses, and The Blues and Royals with three officers, 54 mounted troops and 57 horses
The Mounted Bands of the Household Calvery with one officer, 50 men and 51 horses.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery with five officers, 58 mounted troops and 76 horses pulling six guns (the horses were not present because of an outbreak of bacterial infection amongst the horses.)
254 Soldiers marking the route from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade made up of 12 Foot Guards half-Companies comprising 14 officers and 240 men.
