Can u do a video on your favorite.. Scotch Gambit?
Hey Rick! I have more coming, have you seen the Scotch Gambit playlist?
@@JamesCantyIII Yes Sir.. I'm catching up I didn't know you had a channel.. God Bless
What chess engine do you use ?
I've been playing king Indian I but my room on c1 after castling is that cool ?
You're actually a great teacher, going into many lines and saying why we should play those moves is really helpful, thank you
I appreciate that! Thanks Richmond. I am so glad I could help!
"Remember ideas more than the moves, if you forget the moves, you at least remember the ideas which could lead you to the moves" -- Wow. Life lessons here folks. Love your videos big fella!
LETS GOOOOOOO thanks bro!
This guy is probably the actual coolest chess master online. Good sheet my friend.
I definitely want more KID content from you covering lines but also some rating climbs / speedruns would be invaluable
More to come! Appreciate you!
Way to break it down! You know how to talk and get me focused. You are the best teacher. I can't stand boring or going out on tangents to much.
😂😂😂 glad I could help bro! 💯
I'm liking the frequent uploads :)
Herby I’m loving it too! 🤣 thanks
Excellent young Jedi NM James Canty III. You'll go far as a commentor/analyst/presenter. Speaking as a Jedi who saw the original Star Wars in 1977, I assure you that the Jedi Council has concluded the force is strong in this one! We look forwards to more such commentary from you James. MTFBWY!
yoooooooo thanks Rick hahaha appreciate you!
Wow this is a great and informative video. You should do more videos on the KID! Been trying to play this opening in my games recently so I'll be adding this stuff to my arsenal for sure.
Awesome Chris good to know I will do more of these! Thanks bro 💯
Greta video, your enthusiastic way of teaching keeps the lesson interesting and enjoyed, and the commentary don’t let it bore you. I’ve fell asleep many times watching chess lectures because the teaching was not as enthusiastic ! I’m climbing up the rating quick thanks to you!!!
Wow, thank you bro! LETS GET IT MY GUY. I will keep em coming 💯💯💯
Hitting the Jedi archive, thanks for the lesson.
Glad to help! 🔥🔥🔥
I’m watching 23, and honestly your depth and lines are the best I have seen so far great video
🔥🔥🔥🔥
High quality video! I appreciate you not messing around and being efficient with the time.
No problem! Glad to help LETS GOOOOOOO
When I play this at 1400 and lower, opponents main strategy (often) is to make the queen/bishop battery on the dark squares and go for my bishop on g7 right away.
This one requires an early h6 and not castling sometimes. Or play an early c5, with Qa5 intentions and pinning the knight on c3. Overall though analyzing your games with the engine or stronger players.
@@JamesCantyIII Thanks. King's Indian is the best system against d4 that I can find, but it still leads to a lot of confusing situations. I need to study it a lot more.
Love you educating us on the ideas not the moves. So awesome. Just subscribed to your Twitch Stream.
Awesome! Thank you! Glad I can help man! Appreciate you bro
@@JamesCantyIII the pleasure is all mine keep up the great work
@@PeterSodhi Always man thanks again! 💯
Love your videos man. You and GothamChess are my favorite chess channels on UA-cam.
reason and evidence thanks bro! Really appreciate that! Gotham is my boy! Good choices 💯🔥😎
This is an amazing Quick starter guide to the King's Indian Defense. Thank You. I understand what to do in the center now. There are so many traps coming from white, and its good to know how to defend.
Thanks bro! Glad I could help that’s all I’m here to do big fella LETS GOOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥
Very instructive, thanks!
No problem glad I could help!
Awesome guide
Thanks my guy! 💯
Thank you very much for the video. I like the KID but I always struggled with ideas in middlegame. Great that you show many and even rare lines.
Glad I could help Marks let’s get it! 🔥
great vid bro! appreciate u. I got to 2200 lichess just playing b3 as white and b6 as black but now I'm trying to learn some "real" openings, including KID as black against d4. it's tough but hopefully worth it. playing so dynamically isn't easy. thx for the vid keep up the 🔥 content
Nice work! Playing different openings will make you an overall better player my guy. Since you are used to fianchetto's, this will be fun for you! Thanks alot 💯💯💯
I don't mean to diss but your class on this was a bazilloon times better than Levy's
🤣🤣🤣 all good man! Glad I could help!
The only issues I sometimes have with the KID and Nimzo set up is that aggressive opponents always push their pawns and threaten to take my knight.
It happens, the only way to get better is to study that weakness and look at what other stronger player games are like in that position!
that’s why d6 is vital
Your videos on stockfish,Leela chess zero,Komodo, winter are awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥 give more man
More to come! 🔥🔥🔥
wow very fast paced but somehow i can follow it
thank u very much arguably the best KID instruction video
Thanks bud! Appreciate you!
Thanks, good video, for a beginner, I find this opening for black excellent, allowing me to follow the rules for opening. This is the only opening I've been using for black, and I'm getting very good at covering off the threats coming from white. Slow to start, but aggressive as the game goes on .
Thanks Terry! Glad I could help you! This opening is fun and worth it when you study it. Very aggressive and a favorite of mine!
This tutorial is actually so good wtf
Thanks bro!
Learnt alot from this. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do! 💯
Please teach us the Trompowsky attack!!!
I don't play it! haha You can find some nice videos on it though, just search here!
Thanks Sir! 🙏 It was truly helpful.
Most welcome! 💯💯💯
You are a great teacher :)
Thank you! 😃
Greetings James. Regards from Portugal Alberto
Yo! Portugal is amazing! 💪🏾🔥
A very instructive video, keep it up!!
Glad you liked it! Absolutely will!
ever consider making a video on the kings indian attack? i think it’s pretty much the same concepts at least when i studied in on hanging pawns channel
Eventually I will make one! Not one I play often so would have to check some lines before I drop one
@@JamesCantyIII Love how straightforward and quick you are with the moves, theory, and ideas. Some channels take something they could’ve said in 10 seconds to a whole minute. 💯
@@dannytran1587 thanks bro! I have a lot of information to give and love to give it out quickly! Thanks for watching my guy! 💯
Best vid on kid
Appreciate your quality content bro! Not sure if I'm ready to play it yet tho :P
Hope you enjoy it! Try it when you're ready, or start now! The choice is yours Jedi.
Awesome teacher !!!
Thank you! 😃
Just win a game with it nasty keep it up👌
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
Should have found you earlier 👍👍
yoooo WELCOME LETS GO!
Underrated chess teacher
Also do you mind doing a collab with Gothamchess?
Thanks alot! Definitely will!
🔥
Informative video and hilarious at times xD
Is this an opening you recommend for a beginner? Or which openings do you recommend? Subbed btw
Thanks so much! hahaha As a beginner ANY opening is good to learn, as it will serve you well and better as you get stronger and develop a greater understanding. Queens Gambit Declined is a very basic, simple, but solid opening you can add to your repertoire! Thanks for the sub!
ooh man i like your videos . thanks .
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching! 🔥💯
What do you play against the Saemisch Variation ?
Great question will have a video for that coming soon! Check the other King's Indian videos under the playlist, I should have some light theory on this in one of the King's Indian guides.
Ma man!
I had a strong expert claim that the Bayonet Attack busted the KID. That is why I chose an early Na6. Any lines against Bayonet ???? Thank You Sir.
Yo! Mar del plata is the scariest. Bayonet Attack you can get quick and fun play with Nh5, f5, Nf4, fxe4, Bg4, and fun tactics.
i have been running into opponents that force the dark bishop trade early i was hoping you would touch on that. Is that just a low elo strat?
that is a tough one! Try to delay castling and play h6, maybe even castling the same way white does but that takes patience!
@@JamesCantyIII thanks man that makes sense
can we have the pirc please... pretty please.. thanks in advance...new sub
Pirc I have a playlist on how to play against! haha Not with, not a opening I recommend to play!
Yayyy! KID video!
KID LIFE 💯
Can you give the name of the course on the line e5xd4 and the pgn of all this stuff?
Yep! Its a course on chessable by FM Kamil Plitchka
@@JamesCantyIII can you give me the pgn of this stuff?
😎8️⃣3️⃣
CRAZY right! 💯💯💯
This is great advice!!! I just started to play the KID and the pirc because they are very similar and can be used as white. Love your work. I do have trouble against the kings gambit though
This is really helpful Sir.
Glad I could help Rick! 🔥💯
Thanks canty
-Germ
No problem big fella!
Super and helpful sir.. i wanna reqest you please make video on black diamer gambit... please sir
Thanks so much! Black Diemer is a tough one, I actually don't play it myself! haha Any other openings or anything else?
Very well explained.
Thanks! Glad I could help! 💯
I’m thinking about coming back to this one. I used to play it as a youngster.
WORTH IT. Got to get it down though!
This is by far the best KID theory video I've ever watched. Amazing content
Thanks buddy! 💯💯💯
wow this guy is actually replying to every comment
I try to get every one!
let’s go bro
