Hello DP, Yes, we will be creating soon couple of videos on SQL standalone and AG group . we got tied up with pre requests which we will finish and then create the SQL ones. Please stay tuned.
Oracle RAC is a pseudo client. You install Oracle agent on physical nodes and create a virtual pseudo client from GUI, so in CV GUI you have 3 entries.
@@CorpVault Hello. Do we have to create a pseudo-client for each instance ? How can we create a pseudo client, add nodes to it and auto discover the instances ?
@@KhatibMechentel Apologies for delayed response. pseudo-client is one for all the instances on the RAC setup. Do you have access to Commvault documentation website? if yes, then you can find the info for your question "How can we create a pseudo client, add nodes to it and auto discover the instances ?"
@CorpVault Hello again and thank you for your response. We have for each database, one instance. Do we have to create a pseudo client for each database? Thank you in advance.
@@KhatibMechentel No need. You can configure all the Instance(s) (Ora SID) on the RAC setup in one single pseudo client by right click on Oracle RAC -> All Tasks -> New Instance.
Hi Akash, we noted your request. We do not have a cluster handy but we can make one. Please give us some time to create the lab setup and make the video.
Human voice will make the video more awesome
Thank you for the feedback Aaditya. We can't edit the video now but for future videos we will try it 🙏
Useful Video Team.Could you please upload a video of SQL cluster as well
